And here I thought I got enough brownie points to not be considered wicked, but alas. The two of them catching feelings for each other might actually bode well for flushing the bitch out. When I initially sought out Cronus and spoke with him, I theorized that if he treats Jadis with... favor, it might flush Bellora out. He wasn't supposed to actually go catch feelings, though gods do shit that I don't comprehend anyway.

Sometimes, there's no rest for the wicked, I thought all demons knew that. I have an update for you on the Bellora situation, if you don't care about diving in anyway. Cronus is catching the feels for Jade and I'm downright positive she's reciprocating if she actually faces the fact.

Do you not hear what you're saying right now? The whole reason that Envy did this bullshit to Gianna was because his own view on himself was skewed by everything that happened in other timelines that aren't ours, and you're doing the same thing. Branding him the villain before he even changes into one, and you know what that does, right? Makes him the villain. I can look at you and say that he can change, Lust, and I'll continue to say it. I know she's hurt, I know Azriel is hurt because of everything. I sympathize, I really do, but we can't just... do what all of our brothers would do to us at the flip of a dime. We are supposed to be better than that.

I wasn't there for the whole thing, so I can't say what went down, but I know you wouldn't intentionally ruffle his feathers. Envy would've eventually fallen back on old habits down the road, Gluts, at least none of us can say we dirtied our hands with the blood of the innocent like he has. I'm not saying I was giving up on all of us as brothers, but the stories of his atrocities from my poor niece and nephew paints a pretty clear picture we should nip this in the bud before he starts turning on us. On you. What I want is to not turn into the version of me that my son grew up with, the one that lost his twin and best friend. You can't look at me and say Envy can truly change.

Gluttony nodded his agreement. He knew he wouldn't have an appetite either if he went through what she did, and that was saying a lot. He raised a brow once Josephine brought up what their daughter had told her, not entirely surprised, though. "I know it would probably make her feel better, but I can't just abandon him just because something could happen. It's called self-fulfilling prophecy for a reason." The prince leaned against the blonde, dropping his hand that held the icepack in his lap as he blew a measured breath out; dark eyes moving to Jo. "That's what he's good at, but if you want to kick his ass, wait for a little bit. He already thinks all of our brothers are going to turn on him, and he doesn't need to be proved right with my Queen going after him." Pressing the pack against his face again, he winced at how much it actually hurt, and he was a Prince of all things. Gluttony knew that if Azriel wanted to do any real damage to him, he could have, which worried him as well. "Gianna had to be strong to pull off the spell she did, so I have no doubt that she'll turn around after the shock period," the demon paused, pursing his lips tightly before speaking again, "I'm worried about him, too. There's a reason that no one should fuck with the quiet ones, and I'm afraid about what this will mean for Lust."

"Of course, Gluts, I'll do that for you. I can't promise she'll eat any of it, but it's the thought that counts." Josephine returned his smile and turned around, leaning against the edge of the desk next to the chair the Prince placed his feet on as she listened to the brief explanation. Her gaze shifted along the board again, flickering from person to person, until finding the paper labeled with their daughter's name. "Blair warned me to keep my distance from him, not that your brother and I were best pals, but I kind of agreed with her on that end." The succubus shook her head and pushed to sit on the desk beside him, feeling pity for Gianna. "He knows what to say and how to say it so it really causes damage. Doesn't mean I won't still kick his ass." Jo released a soft sigh, "She's a fragile girl, yet strong enough to pull through this. I'm just worried about Azriel."

Just because the very sight of me is enough for him to go off the rails doesn't mean I can't own up to my own mistakes in the interaction. Of course, I remember how he was. I remember how Wrath was. I remember how I was, and the others. Taking this stance is going to force Envy back into the role he had, because he won't think he has another option. I'm not saying he's smart– he's rash and irresponsible, hurting the one person who would have always seen the good in him. But if we give up on him now, we're giving up on all of us who have actually changed for the better. Is that what you really want?

You can't help what sets him off, even the very sight of another Prince grinds his gears. This isn't just about Mom and Hope, Gluts, the more I hear the stories from your daughter and our brother's own fucking son is enough to convince me that every Envy in any timeline is the same. You remember how he was back in the days, brother, how far he went? Maybe Wrath had his own reasonings with those team-ups, but Envy sure the fuck didn't. Look at what he did to Gianna.

I know how they get plenty, I had to compel Azriel to prevent him from fucking with my head. Surprisingly, I wasn't thinking that you'd automatically go full-on crazy train, but I also know it's not out of the question, especially when you feel as though people are pushing you that way. I'm not going to lie and say that Lust isn't leaning towards the Envy hate wagon; Azriel's own stance on the subject isn't helping the issue. I know it doesn't really help, but you were doing something nice for Wrath, and he's not a part of that list.

I tried giving her the truth and you know how fucking stubborn a Foxwood can be, she wasn't budging unless I tore her apart. I doubt her brother will want me near her." His eyes settled on his elaborate wall as he waited once the blonde disappeared, sitting on his desk and resting his feet on a chair. "I'll gladly be your little bitch any day," Gluttony said with a smile once she returned, nodding his thanks as he held the icepack to his face. A sigh fell from his lips. "His kids and Blair got into Envy's head, so he forced Gianna to leave. Said whatever he could to get her out of the door, so let's just focus on being a safe space for her. He said some things that no one in her shoes should hear."

"You know that I love you too, even your ability to hold your own with a dream witch. She's settling in alright. I'm just giving her some space." Josephine rose from her seat and vanished briefly, coming back with an ice pack for any swelling Gluttony encountered. She light took one of his wrists and rested the pack in his hand, lifting to place it against his cheek. "At least you didn't take it lying down, but you are my little bitch." Her gaze landed on the board of information Gluts put together, eyes following the various strings. "What did he do, Gluttony? I need to know before I storm over there and kick his ass."
