it is painfully obvious to me that vox and alastor are 100% obsessed with each other. i don't care if you think that's as enemies or platonic or radiosilence or silentstatic or full blown radiostatic. these two grown ass men cannot go one day without having the other's undivided attention

Idk how to explain this in non-allo terms, but I do wish to write an "unrequited" human voxal AU fic but the "unrequitedness" comes from Alastor and not Vox. Like, Vox is special enough in Alastor's world but Vox hasn't realize that privilege Al gave him. Vox just thinks they are normal best friends!!!

Which is why he can't understand why Alastor doesn't like Valentino, his most recent partner and Alastor just comes up with everything but the truth.

Valentino, though, notices that Alastor is a bit (cough a shit ton cough) possessive of Vox. Like standing too close and brushing Vox's shoulder with his hand as he says: "You have some dust here, my friend." when there was nothing there (just Valentino's hand prior to the exchange).

Which is also how Valentino realizes that most of Vox's partners left because of Alastor.

But Vox is just... not seeing it no matter how many times Valentino brings it up. And it isn't until Valentino tells him: "How would you feel if Alastor found someone he adored the same way he adores you?" That he realizes something.

And it is confirmed when Vox's face darkened for a split second, cold heterochromia eyes narrowing on him before he says: "That would never happen."

Turns out, maybe the strange "unrequitedness" situantionship isn't as unrequited as Alastor let's it out to be and that Vox is as (if not more) possessive about Alastor.

Steampunk Vox anyone? This is a WIP but I kinda liked the concept that I came up with. Let me know your thoughts please! This design will go with my Steampunk Redesign series. He’s part of the Vees in this universe, but at the bottom of the food chain this time, since television isn’t really more than a pipe dream in a Victorian, steampunk setting. Fun fact, Tom Trench and Katie Killjoy are his comic relief henchmen in this version hahaha

The idea behind this is that the gears function to power his head, which is a very old model since modern tech doesn’t exist in this world. The setup on his head is a film projector, which is actually a huge part of his lore so I won’t spoil It just yet. If I make a full lore video on him, then I shall delve into it.

people really just walk into horror movies and expect them not to deal with uncomfortable things despite the genre being dedicated to discomfort.

i saw so many people complain that lisa frankenstein, a movie where one of the leads is famously a rotting corpse, was too gross for them. when i walked out of nosferatu, i heard people say that the nudity was uncalled for... in a vampire film. nudity? in MY gothic horror?! unheard of!

a LOT of people really need to accept that maybe some genres just aren't to their taste, idk. not every movie needs to be cookie-cutter clean. sexuality is a staple of gothic horror, if not the wider genre horror in General. you don't need to enjoy it, but it doesn't make these things uncalled for.
