When running on an uphill, I cuss every step of the way. My chest feels like it’s going to explode but I’ll cheer myself on until I get to the very top.
This feels alot like a metaphor for this season of my life except, instead of cussing alot as a release, I cry when I need to. I ask for help (still learning) from my partner, my friends and my sister. I cheer myself on and I also give myself room to wallow and to be sad. is this what it is to grow?
