STORY OF KOGARASHI (Kankuro's adopted daughter and member of the sand team)

How did she become Kankuro's adopted daughter? Back during the Fourth Shinobi World War, when all countries united against Madara, her parents met each other. Her mother, who was from the village of sand, and also an old friend of Kankuro, met her future husband there from the land of iron. They dated for a long time, and then got married and decided to have a child. In the last months of pregnancy, they decided to go to visit husband's family in the land of iron, but during their return, they were attacked by a group of bandits. They seriously injured the husband, and the stress caused the mother to go into labor and give birth to the baby a couple of weeks ahead of schedule. During the attack, the bandits damaged the cart on which Kogarashi's parents were riding, so they had to travel the further journey on the remaining horses. Unfortunately, Kogarashi’s father quickly died from his injuries before reaching the land of fire. When her mother finally reached Konoha, she already had serious frostbite. Even despite medical assistance, unfortunately, she died. Before her death, she asked that her child be transferred to the sand village, as they would be able to better decide what to do with the child. When the Konoha shinobi came to the sand village with a child and the news that her mother had died, Kankuro also learned this news and immediately understood who they were talking about, and volunteered to adopt the child of his late friend.

The name Kogarashi was coined by her mother and it means "cold wind that heralds the coming of winter." Ironic, isn't it?

Of course, Kogarashi has a family from both parents, but they are too old, and when such an important person as the right hand of the Kazekage offers to raise your child, you should not refuse.

Apart from the absence of parents, Kogarashi had a very good childhood, full of love and care. She followed in the footsteps of her adoptive father and also became a puppet master and Shinobi.

She is very open and always says what she thinks, without fear of judgment from society.
