Nightmare Moon Cosplay So, I've kind of decided on which character I would like to make an outfit for to cosplay and perhaps compete in. I really love Nightmare Moon and her colors/design. This will be the first time I will be creating and sewing my cosplay outfit. The reason why I think I will be going with her is because as long as I keep the colors the same, have her cutie mark and wings + horn. The rest is up to me and my imagination. Therefor I believe that would be a good costume to start off with because it doesn't have to be exactly right.

Remember that cosplay is YOUR hobby and it should be making you happy.  There’s nothing wrong with striving for any or all of those four things, but if you’re not having fun and feeling awesome while doing it, then what’s the point?

I once met this girl, She’s pretty as could be, I told her she was beautiful, But she didn’t believe me. Frustration consumed me, How could she not see, Despite the perfection I perceive, She sees inadequacy. See society has taught her, To hate her the skin she’s in, To compare herself to billboards, To starve util she’s thin. But even if she made it, Ignored her hunger pain, Would she finally feel at peace, Or would her sorrow remain. Rejection like an infection, Breeding victims of disaffection, So pardon my interjection, But we must go a new direction. This isn’t natural selection, Rather a warped projection, Women don’t need your objection, They deserve uninfluenced introspection. I once met this girl, She’s as pretty as could be, I told her she was beautiful, But she didn’t believe me. Frustration consumed me, How could she not see, Despite the perfection I perceive, She sees inadequacy. Shallow words from shallow guys, Curse pretty girls with tainted eyes. Forced to believe their twisted lies, In every mirror inside she dies. She cannot feel the love I’ve sent, Despite my honest heart’s intent, I drown her in these compliments, Yet somehow she still circumvents. Forget the American dream, It will destroy your self-esteem, Happy lives need no extreme, Beauty isn’t what they deem. You are perfect to the seam, Don’t deny you love ice cream, If your proud lets hear your scream, As we burn their magazines. I once met this girl, She’s as pretty as could be, I told her she was beautiful, But she didn’t believe me. Frustration consumed me, How could she not see, Despite the perfection I perceive, She sees inadequacy. All that truly matters, Are those who truly care, The opinions of the masses, Neither relevant or fair. So believe what I say, And find happiness once more, You’re beautiful, your perfect, Of that you can be sure. I once met this girl, She’s pretty as could be, I told her she was beautiful, But she didn’t believe me. Frustration consumed me, How could she not see, Despite the perfection I perceive, She sees inadequacy. What she doesn’t realize, A point she surely missed, If you’re a truly kind person, Ugliness does not exist. You can throw away your makeup, This you should not doubt, If you are beautiful within, You are beautiful without.

I don't really care if people don't like this guy or whatever...but this song and the lyrics are amazing + perfect!
