im still thinking about yolanda badgood like i wish we had seen more of her. she gave up her divinity to help her students across pantheons!! do you guys think she was a knowledge domain cleric. do you guys think her deity understood that spreading the love of the pursuit of knowledge was the uttermost form of worship and let her go. do you think that when she said to her students that she believed in them, it was just a little bit holy, in the sense that teachers by virtue of their position are devoted to their students. im always going to think about her holding hands with lucy frostblade. where is yolanda badgood’s heaven. i miss her so much.

potential reasons kipperlily has hated riz since day one:

1. riz didn't give her a business card

2. riz did give her a business card but she did an american psycho style analysis of it and did not like what the card told her

3. a goblin getting dunked in a trashcan killed her mother

4. a briefcase killed her mother

5. has a crush on riz and is taking the tweet that's like "one time I had a crush on a girl and I put a note in her locker telling her to leave the school" to the next level

6. has a crush on a different bad kid and is mad at riz for becoming the rogue of the group before she had a chance

On the topic of FCG potentially being reincarnated--it makes sense as an option the party might organically consider attempting, but, as we saw with Laudna's death (and even Percy's way back when), input from the player is a really operative aspect of whether a character will be resurrected. Marisha clearly did not want to let Laudna go, so they pursued a long road to bring her back. Alternatively, Taliesin was totally willing to let Percy go if he thought the ritual offerings wouldn't be enough (shoutout to Vex's nat 20 persuasion check for this one).

And Sam? Well, Sam, as a player, loves to fail. Because failing is interesting, usually far more interesting than succeeding. We're talking about a guy who openly derides luck points and fervently refused to use the halfling luck feature except in the ONE instance where succeeding the roll would have had a worse outcome than failing. Regardless of how I or anyone else feels about losing FCG and/or wanting them back, Sam does not strike me as the kind of player who would want to bring FCG back after going out like this, available reincarnation or not. I would both suspect and anticipate that this will be FCG's final showing, just based on what I know of Sam as a player

I feel like Sam’s been holding this move in his pocket ever since Imahara Joe told FCG he had a bomb in his chest. That said, I think this was about the most brilliant way he could have deployed it.

Think about it—FCG wakes up in a cave surrounded by the corpses of his dead friends, only to learn later that he was the one who murdered them. Now he’s in a cave with his new best friends, and he’s going killbot mode again, but this time, he’s fully aware of his state of mind, and fully in control of his decisions. And in picking his target, he saves all of their lives.

I just think that’s neat.

Fabian calling Riz to find things in his' house is so funny to me because he has disadvantage on perception and Riz cannot get lower than a 23 on investigation

And the fact the he said that Riz can only come over so often to find stuff means that it was constant
