A tale through pictures

Hindus are native to Kashmir. This was them before and as they were killed, tortured, discriminated and thrown out of their homeland by Islamic invasions and later on by Islamic militants bent on making Kashmir a muslim only land. The hindus of Kashmir were forcefully converted years ago during the medieval times and the ones who did not convert were finally kicked out of their land in the year of 1990.

Hindus all over India have faced such atrocities.

Hindus were wiped out of Afghanistan which was once fully hindu and today is an Islamic stronghold.

Hindus in Pakistan and Bangladesh are currently facing these ethnic cleansings while the world remains silent.

2. An old illustration of the “Half temple half mosque of Gyaanvapi”, destroyed by Aurangzeb, another Islamic invader.

3. Martand sun temple, destroyed by Sikandar Butshikan, from the dynasty of the brutal islamic invaders that lorded over the kashmiri hindus.

The number of temples destroyed with mosques replacing them are estimated to be more than 40,000 in the country of India alone. Afghanistan, Pakistan and Bangladesh have completely destroyed their hindu cultural heritage and only a handful temples still stand today in these country with afghanistan having close to none.

Hindus have suffered one of the most brutal and cruel genocides at the hand of islam and we’ve been dealing with radical islam since centuries.

The only reason we are here today, as hindus is because our ancestors fought the bloody wars for us, this freedom did not come handy.

Don’t let people whitewash the suffering of your ancestors in the name of “political correctness.” That’s the most cowardly thing you can do and it will be akin to spitting on the valour of your own ancestors who never gave up.

Solid foundation is important here as well, baby steps go a long way, working on. Small triggers and emotional wounds of a long way, this is a life’s work not a season’s, this is just the beginning of your journey, do not take too many things at once or you will get overwhelmed. For some, take the help of a professional therapist.
