I love these types of requests!

I think L smells like neutral soap and sugar. He seems picky about strong smells, so he might like alumstone deodorant, which contributes to having a pretty faint, neutral scent. It's nice if you're overwhelmed by these kinds of things because, despite the smell being soft, it's still present, and it's still him.

Mello smells like chocolate and gunpowder. I think this is pretty much canon information that someone forgot to include in the databook. He looks like he enjoys lotions, perfumes, and particularly expensive ones. Perhaps there's a hint of spice, something addictive that suggests danger

Matt probably smells like cigarettes, weed, and bubblegum. I will not elaborate on this, I don't even know girl, I just— look at him and tell me you can't see it.

Near smells like soap, but with a bit more of a zesty scent. His long hair retains the shampoo smell for hours, and you can take a deep breath near his collarbone and fill your lungs with the stimulating aroma.

I was thinking of making a request about mello and how is him with his scars and his partner? tbh, I feel like he's ashamed of his scars when he's with someone he truly loves. also thank you as well for writing so creatively. I love Whiskey in a Teacup! 💗

I wouldn't say ashamed, maybe a bit self-conscious sometimes, but I think more often than not it's because they represent he would rather die than lose. And that's not something any partner is gonna be okay with lol

I think he's aware of them and how they might set him apart in a crowd. There is a panel/ art I don't remember, where he's touching his scar with the tip of his fingers, and the look in his eyes isn't one like ow, no, me ugly now

If something I think he's like ok I came this far and even did this to my body. I can not give up, I can not trip down. I must make it.

With a partner, I think he'd be more concerned about handling the situation so that his significant other doesn't think too hard about what he did, or ask him further questions (I mean, he would answer them but I think it wouldn't be his fave thing in the world). In my fucked up fantasy world, Mello and Matt are still alive and well. and the death note somehow didn't work with Takada because I like to think that she spelled Mello's name wrong. Just needed to vent that because i cant seem to get over these two men 😩😩especially Mello!!

Now, I headcanon that they (Mello and Takada) had a traffic accident and went out of the road right into that church. Takda died because she was traveling alongside Mello's motorbike. The truck caught on fire. Hall got there just in time. Mello lost consciousness for a couple of days during which Kira's fall happened, and then he woke up to know he failed to beat Near. (Because for me there is no world in which he was conscious and did nothing to continue in the race against Near)
