It’s almost on the tip of his tongue, because in theory he could. But is rewinding time really giving Dimitri more time, or just delaying the inevitable in the end. Byleth isn’t sure, and quite honestly, he doesn’t care to answer that question. He’s been been good at what ifs, hypothetical, or extensional questions. So he pushes it to the back of his mind to never think about.
