Do not inform people regarding how much of the Qur’ān you have memorised. Do not tell them that you've solidified one Juzz, memorised a Hizb, and reviewed ten. Leave them to see for themselves the Qur’ān in you...In your beautiful speech, in your calmness of mind, the chastity of your limbs and your heart, your gentle nature, your leniency, your tranquility and your dignity. Your goal should not be for people to say "Hafidh of the Qur’an.." Rather: "His character was that of the Qur’ān."
