Hi hello, I just started 9-1-1 partly because I've gathered stuff throuhg your posts before and ugh. I know we're spn mutuals first but I've got so many season 1 opinions and nowhere to share haha (and the last episode - Dean Winchester wishes o-O). So I guess thanks for getting me interested in the series?! :D
OMGGG i'm so glad that i could get you interested!! if you ever want to DM and talk about any of it I am ready 👀 I've rewatched this show like, 5 times hahaha. It's one of my absolute favorites. AND WITH WHAT HAPPENED LAST WEEK.... ugh. my complete comfort show now <3

"How did you know?"
Cas looks up, finally; the firelight hits his face in a way that casts shadows across the sharp plane of his nose. He tilts his head in a silent question.
"How did you know it..." Dean clears his throat. "That it wasn't worth it anymore?"
Cas folds his arms over his bent knees. "There was one morning that I woke up and didn't realize what my favorite food was. That I didn't have a favorite anything." He frowns. "That scared me more than anything else."
Dean nods. Like he has any clue about it.
"To keep going only for the sole purpose of shaping yourself into someone else's expectations... that's not a life." Cas's frown deepens and his eyes get brighter in the fire's warm glow. "That's a slow death."
