KNB Week Day 6: Fantasy

[WARNING: this is art for a fanfic series, and there are potential spoilers for it here!]

i'll use whatever excuse i can to draw kagakuro, and @knb-week-2025 ‘s day 6 prompt meant i could draw finally ningyo!kuroko and halfu!kagami from my ningyo au again, which I've been meaning to do anyway. I've never done a full color illustration of Kuroko's ningyo (merperson) form, so I figured it was time I nailed it down. its always interesting when there are strange hair and clothes physics, but i tried my best.

though i love all fantasy, i was definitely more of a mermaid kid than a fairy kid (evident by the fact I have a knb fanfic series in this very vein), so definitely had to do that for this prompt.

KNB Week Day 7: Post-Canon (literally the only day I finished on time rip)

Is it still post-canon if it's technically canon content?

We meet Seirin's new freshmen very briefly in the Extra Game manga and Replace light novels, but those brief appearances endeared them so much to me. In specific, I love how they're fanboys of Kagami and Kuroko, bc those boys deserve it!! I love Kuroko getting recognition and Kagami being uncomfortable being a senpai that others look up to lmao.

Asahina has resting bitchface and a major (basketball) crush on "Kagami-san", who he tries to emulate, resulting in him studying Kagami's moves, which in turn results in his intense staring being interpreted as glaring. He's got Opinions (tm) and freely shares them, but he considers it to be just keeping it real. Yaagi is not so good at basketball, a bit of a nervous wreck really, but is very genuine and eager-to-please. Very much respects Kuroko, who tries to look out for him. Yaagi's a tech whiz, he makes the Seirin Basketball Team official website, helps Riko data-gather. I imagine that when his locker is shut, the lights from his harddrive continuously go crazy like those "caramelldansen playing in another room" videos.

I do intend to eventually post for some other @knb-week-2025 prompts when I have the chance, so keep your eyes peeled for those!

AHH omg you’re so sweet! 😭😭 I’m so happy you found my stuff and are enjoying it! Always a pleasure to have more knb fans in the fandom spaces!!

For pretty much every fandom I’m in, I pick a darling/special interest character, and Kuroko is definitely it from knb for me. Like that’s my baby, my boi. Any time I get to draw, yap, or write about him is always such a pleasure.

For amvs, they’re a bit of a newer venture of me. Always wanted to make some, but knb is like the only fandom I can make one for because I have a mental log of scenes and clips which allows me to find certain clips. Idk how other people do a bunch of amvs for other fandoms, because I can only have that specific of a memory recall for knb (in terms of a TV show anyways).
