thank u for that tag from forever ago @evelhak i actually have a good few wips at the moment to pull from so this will be fun.

Rules: Tagger gives a word, then for each letter of that word you share an excerpt from your WIPs that starts with that letter.

Here's proof that I still work on the series that you guys may be waiting on (at a snail's pace).

So, Kagami didn’t really feel like he was a Second Year. Besides the fact that his homeroom was now in a different wing of the school and that there were new faces lecturing them, everything felt much the same. ‘Homeroom’ wasn’t even the right word probably, considering they didn’t even switch classrooms in Japan - the teachers did. A lot of the faces in his class were the same too, but he had no idea if that was just coincidence or the fault of another strange system set up by Japan.  Well, not that Kagami minded that particular happenstance when one of the familiar faces in his class belonged to Kuroko Tetsuya.

The rest of his little vacation involved a lot of multi-hour commutes, unfortunately (though gracefully, Akashi-kun and Momoi-san had gone ahead and booked him some accommodations that would make his other trips both comfortable and as speedy as possible).

Eleven turned to her then. “The Els?” she repeated in question, emphasizing the plural-ness of the word. “You know? The House of El?” Robin elaborated, before she had a sudden realization. “Wait. You know Superman, right?” Thankfully, Eleven nodded. “I know Superman, yes. Mike says that I’m like him.” she elaborated, a fond little look on her face. “And he’s Lois Lane.” Way to go, little Wheeler, Robin couldn’t help but inwardly praise the non-present teen. Look at him, fighting those gender-normative roles.

Another excerpt from that same Steve Harrington Case Studies series. I really need to work on that because I love this little conversation (and the rest of it) I've come up with tbh.

Ningyo having some sort of secret passage that the humans didn’t seem to know about made sense, Taiga supposed. They’d need a way to get to the market without being seen. Though it was still a mystery to Taiga as to why ningyo would want to interact with humans in the first place, especially if they were as skittish and secretive as everyone had made them out to be.

“Tetsu, what the hell.” came the sound of Aomine’s groggy yet somehow still pissed-off voice (impressive for someone who had just come out of a supposedly restful sleep). Yet even through all that, Kuroko could still hear the one barely-there emotion hidden underneath all the gruffness; concern. “It’s good to hear from you too, Aomine-kun.” “Don’t change the subject, Tetsu. What’s this bullcrap you’re asking me at asscrack o’clock in the morning?” Aomine seethed, the image of a furrowed brow and eyes pinched closed coming to mind.

An old, ancient excerpt from like 2018, for my semi-abandoned kagakuro in America fic. I haven't gotten anywhere close to this scene, but this interaction between Aomine and Kuroko (which culminates in a heart-to-heart) is something I've had in mind since the start. If I never find the motivation for finishing that fic, maybe I can at least shove this scene into a different fic... I've always had a soft spot for Aomine flubbing his way through heart-to-hearts but being incredibly earnest, nonetheless.

I'm gonna be a boring fart and just tag whoever of my followers/moots who see this and want to take part.

Anime convention dump! My first cosplays + anime con. I actually had 3 people recognize me as Momoi, which is 3 more than I thought I’d get!! On one day, my friends went as genderbent Mura and Mido too. A trio of M&M&M. 💚🩷💜 I also got to see my AMV in the overflow room. It was surreal to see my (user)name up there on that screen after watching the this contest online for years. 💕

Shutoku's animal forms in my shapeshifter AU!!

After leaving this drawing series alone for like a year, I'm finally back at it lol. This time with shutoku, because I've had all the selections for these guys in the bank for a while and was excited af to draw them out but....never did?? whoops.

This is a school with a more solid theme. The "ma" in "Midorima" stands for "mountain", and every character in Shutoku is named after a mountain in Japan, so that, combined with the fact that Shutoku is suppose to be an intimidating team, I figured it'd be fitting to make them all animals that can be found in mountainous regions.

Midorima and Takao were the only one's whose animal forms were mentioned directly in the fic series, but I always imagined the majority of Shutoku is filled with like insanely beefy, huge shifters. And another theme that was sort of unintentional is that they’re all large animals of prey that you don’t wanna fuck with, not predators (except for Takao). In the fic itself, you’ll see it’s a bit of a thing that Midorima is the only non-predator GoM.
