tumblr is making people reset their passwords so if you’re using a really old email u should update your email settings now so you don’t lose your blog, i’ve seen some people who can’t access their emails anymore so i thought i’d give you a heads up

tumblr signed me out on my laptop and is making me reset my password which is fine, except that it involves tumblr emailing me and I no longer have access to the email I used to sign up with. tumblr’ solution to that?

I’ve contacted tumblr about it and…..they don’t care lol. This appears to be happening to a lot of people, so I’m going to keep this account and see if they rectify it it any way in the near future. With the risk of losing complete access to this account, I’ve created a new one @skysports2 I’m not sure if I’m going to switch to it or not right now, but if I’m kind of using it to create a safety net. I’m going to follow whoever I’m following now with it and if you’d like to, follow back for if/when I do lose access here and start using the new one

No, I checked and it says on the help page that you cannot currently change your email or password on mobile :(

I have no idea why it logged me out, it was automatic. And their explanation is that they don't give out password or account info for "security reasons". No backup options, just "start over!"
