everyone tends to leave a bitter taste in his mouth, but wade is always SO much worse. he can't think around the man, let alone WORK. he doesn't know why he agreed to this. no amount of money in the world would make this more bearable. and now, with wintergreen only available over comms, there's no buffer. nobody to take over being wade's person to talk at. he knows, under the ikon suit, that he's clenching his fists so tightly that his knuckles have turned white.

"why don't we play the quiet game?" he suggests after trying his best to dissuade him with silence. he speaks to him like a child, like he were patronizing grant or joey for bothering him. in all honesty, wade is far worse than either of the two. he hopes, foolishly, that maybe he can get a minute or two of silence this way. if not, he's going to tear his own eardrums out.

when the objectively bad person has traumatic and honestly reasonable reasons for why theyre like that but it doesnt excuse their actions and only serves to make them more tragic as a character

a flash of teeth, he's missing a lateral incisor, batman's doing. it will grow back, of course it will - everything but the eye does. his tongue darts out, over the remaining teeth and cleans the blood off of them. he keeps his eye on the bat from where he's sitting, palms on hard concrete. he can get up, he would. he knows the bat's weak spots, they've done this time and time again - he knows him like the back of his hand. but still, he stays prone, staring up at him. this is what he wants.

"you're always so excited to see me." he laughs, pushing himself up only slightly. "going to send me to blackgate? arkham? you know that never lasts." he's not stalling, knows there's no point with this particular foe. but still, he patronizes like he were against the son instead of the father. "unless you WANT waller to get her hands on me, of course. i'm sure i would be far less trouble for you that way."

i did not care for either of the snvderverse slade designs. nor do i think that his actor is a good fit. also it popularized that stupid fucking faux hawk

I want to make this known; it’s OKAY to flirt with my muse, it’s okay to say flirty things to them, yes, they may not react to it, they may not respond to it positively, but know as a mun I’m 100% OKAY with it. Especially if my muse is clearly attractive appearance wise, go ahead, flirt with them, if my muse is your muse’s type, it’s okay to flirt, we don’t have to be shipping, we don’t ever have to ship to have you flirt with my muse; I WONT think you’re pushing a ship on me either. But I just feel that some people are scared to have their muse be flirty to another because we a muns might take it the wrong way.

 I’m not saying this goes for everyone, but I’m letting you know that it doesn’t make me uncomfortable and I’m fine with it.
