Hello, I have put together a bundle of comics to raise money for those affected by the ongoing g3n0c1de. There are some really really wonderful comics in here by so many amazing artists and 100% of the proceeds go to palestinian gofundmes. The comic I have contributed is a 50 page comic I made in 2019 about starman's daughter and her human boyfriend called A Really Big House, which you can currently ONLY buy through this bundle. hey! if you're not already aware, my favorite game ever, a boomer shooter called TF2, is currently facing a massive bot problem. bad actors are hosting bot players to farm items and take advantage of the economy, or to go out of their way to disrupt games with cheats like aimbot and wallhacks. an entire game can be put to standstill by 3 sniper bots, and Valve continues to monetize the game despite their several-year long stint of no communication to the community, and no action to stop the bots.

if you'd be willing to take a second, check out this website and sign this petition which will be physically printed and sent to Valve.

a lot of people have a deep love for this game, and it makes me sad that it's made to be as unapproachable as it currently is by people who choose to detract joy from the world because they cannot create it.

As pride month begins, let us not forget our Palestinian brothers and sisters.

I am on my knees begging, begging people to remember disabled people in the LGBTQ+ community this month. Please don't leave us to die.

COVID never ended and it made many people immunocompromised. Wear a mask at Pride events (and other places too). Yes, even if it makes you uncomfy or doesn't match your outfit.

Some anti-trans laws are specifically targeting mentally disabled people, arguing that we're not capable of making decisions about our own bodies and thus should not be allowed to medically transition. Include us in discussions about trans legislation.

Disabled people already face high discrimination in work and housing, and it's worse for those who are LGBTQ+. Stand up for your disabled and LGBTQ+ peers.

Some disabled people with caretakers can't come out because the people they depend on aren't safe. Support closeted LGBTQ+ people.

The insurance companies that always find a reason not to cover gender-affirming surgery are the same ones that always find a reason not to cover medication or therapy or mobility aids. Have some solidarity with disabled people who have to fight against the same greedy pigs you do.

Make sure Pride events are accessable to mobility aid users, people with service animals or caretakers, people with sensory issues, etc. Or at the very least, be honest if they're not, so people don't waste their time going there only to discover they can't participate.

It breaks my heart seeing so-called leftists throwing their disabled siblings to the wolves. You like to say that you'd punch a Nazi, throw bricks at police cars, fight tooth and nail for the rights of LGBTQ+ people... But the moment it concerns disabled LGBTQ+ people, you drop your support like a rock. Your hypocrisy is disgusting, and it's going to kill many people in the LGBTQ+ community this Pride month unless you take a moment to realize that, whether you like it or not, some of us are disabled and we don't deserve to die for that.

Kind of a mess of a post based off a conversation I had with my wife a few weeks back. One of my favorite things about the necromancers you can meet in BG3 (namely Balthazar and Mystic Carrion) is how even though they are both extremely evil with about as much sympathy and compassion as a rock, they are still extremely different from each other in how they view their work, the undead they raise, and their emotional connection to the world. Balthazar, despite being a well composed intellectual with strong logic, is deeply sentimental. He raises his stillborn twin from the dead and experiments on him until any semblance, physical remnants of that twin are entirely gone, yet, he still refers to Flesh as his brother. His own flesh. He keeps his mother's brain in a jar, a cruel punishment, but it is purely symbolical. He redefines his entire identity around a new name because "he likes it". He provides his library to followers of the Absolute in no other pursuit than a desire to educate them. He is loyal as a dog to Myrkul (and by extension Ketheric). The Mystic on the other hand is a hedonist who has all the love to give to the arts and wine, deeply enamored with culture. Though he lives secluded he is very aware of society, its hierarchies and how to exploit them. The knowledge he boasts about is mostly a persona. You'd think he'd be more invested in his studies but they are the least of his concern. Unlike Balthazar who gives a lot of sentimental value to the undead he has raised, the body parts he has kept, Mystic Carrion gives about as much of a shit as you originally expect Balthazar to which is None. The undead are tools to him, means to a process and an end (and I mean that's understandable because the actual treatment of undead is a very grey area, what's considered a moral failure is raising that dead in the first place. I haven't seen anything that suggests necromancers looking into the rights of the undead depending on how "sentient" they are).

(I'm still thinking about that dialogue option that goes "so you prey on the most rich and vulnerable" when addressing Mystic Carrion like yes and that's a good thing, too bad the game is hellbent on not letting you agree with him or have a reason to keep him as an ally, since the exclusive reward is non existent, you just fuck over the delightful zombos, and he doesn't even show up in the climax like damn okay what a waste).

Basically what I'm trying to say if I put them both in a room, the moment they'd start talking about necromancy they'd kill each other, and that's awesome.
