Unironically the reason relationships are considered to have a âhoneymoon periodâ after which things get everyday and shitty is because of menâs inability to put effort into a long term relationship. I feel so bad for all the women stuck in an unsatisfying relationship (myself included) because they meet this seemingly thoughtful, nice man who treats them well⌠for six months. The second a man feels secure in a relationship he becomes indifferent, he doesnât feel the need to impress her or treat her well anymore, he becomes lazy, he dumps all the domestic labour on her, and he stops putting effort into the sex life, which then inevitably dries up but somehow itâs the womanâs fault that sheâs tired and unhappy. If she brings up how things have changed, how itâs not as good anymore, he replies with âit canât all be the honeymoon periodâ and for the rest of the miserable relationship he thinks itâs okay to cheat a woman into one by treating her well just until they move together or get married and then drop all effort and affection because âthatâs just how relationships go.â
Fact: You deserve a partner who doesnât date you despite you bisexuality, or claim to trust you despite your bisexuality. Your orientation is not a negative. Itâs never something that makes you harder to date or to trust.
I started a new job this week and the first time I was eating luch with my coworkers, getting to know them, a young woman told us how her boyfriend put a tracker on her phone and she found out and she told him to disable it and he said it was to make sure she had made it home safely. I asked "he's your boyfriend?" she said "yes :)" I said "you're telling me he's still your boyfriend and not your ex?" there was a big silence and she said "oh you don't understand, it's cute, he's really sweet and co-dependent, he always wants to make sure I'm okay, I still had him disable it though." I didn't push because I didn't want to start something in front of everyone, but later she was showing the tracking app to another coworker and while doing so realized that it wasn't disabled after all and he was still tracking her.

â My first thought when he went down? Maybe he was poisoned. And a podcast about the poisoning of a big movie star? That could be big.
