she doesn't have to work hard to get a reaction from janis. it's meticulous &* learned over years &* years of study. there's no one regina knows better. no one she knows how to better tear down -- well , aside from herself. a satisfied smirk tugs at her lips as she smooths palms against the desk between them ; it should be noted she definitely leans farther forward than needed -- pushes her arms together to accentuate her chest just right. it's been years since she spoke to janis more than in passing jabs. but they had a common denominator now -- cady. were they stupid enough to think she hadn't noticed them talking ?

ㅤ   ‛    oh,   grow  up,    ‛         janis  scoffs,   her  mind  going  straight  to  things  that  she  could  say  to  regina.   most  of  which  would  probably  get  her  put  on  some  sort  of  watch  list.   regina's  words  cling  into  her  mind,   because  while  she  has  a  point   ...   ACTUALLY,   it's  the  fact  that  she  even  has  a  point  that  drives  janis  mad.   why  else  would  janis  hatch  such  an  elaborate  revenge  scheme  if  she  wasn't  still  chipping  away  at  her  brain  24/7  after  all  these  years?   SHE  GENUINELY  HATES  REGINA,   and  she  certainly  hates  how  much  regina  knows  her,   even  still   —   it's  turned  into  some  weird  obsession  of  hate  and she  can't  even  tell  the  difference  between  it  and  other  feelings  anymore.   they  all  make  her  feel  the  same  way  at  the  end  of  the  day,   firey  hot.   angry.    the  worst  part  is  that  she  certainly  has  janis's  attention  now,   every  thought  consuming  her  mind  relating  back  to  regina.

ㅤ   normally  she'd  just  ignore  regina,   let  her  words  fester  until  she  can't  take  it  anymore,   taking  frustrations  out  onto  a  canvas.   but  she  can't  seem  to  today,   her  words  literally  living  rent  free  and  so  she  turns.   her  head  cocking  to  the  side,   expression  flat  as  she  asks,         ‛    what  the  hell  do  you  even  want?    ‛
