a little ramble because i love moon a lot and i’m very autistic about him

i hate when people paint moon a bad guy but don’t say the same about the glamrocks. i always see people treating the glamrocks so differently than moon even though they all have the same virus and none of them are bad guys.

i saw someone say moon’s a bad guy and fight tooth and nail in the comments to defend that and it made me so sad. i sort of understand because all we see of moon is when he’s infected with the virus, but i feel like it doesn’t take a lot to realize he’s just like sun. he’s programmed to keep children entertained and safe just like sun, he is not the virus.

it just makes me so sad to see people be so mean to him when he’s a victim just like everyone else.

also he’s so cute how could you hate that pretty face

edit: i have not read a lot of the books and the ones i own and have read aren’t about security breach and don’t mention moon. honestly i always forget there are books tbh,, i have memory issues and even simple things slip my mind very easily. i think the books are usually one of them. thank you for everyone telling me about them and helping me learn more about moon!! i’ve just always had this different version of him in my head since i kinda latched onto him and subconsciously made him a comfort just like sun.

watching dawkos playthrough and the moon game made me realise how much sense it would make for sun and moon to be from edwin’s costume manor. they have a different aesthetic compared to the rest of the SB gang and they’re jesters.

a lot of edwin’s mascots look to be circus or jester themed. could they possibly be original creations fazbear ent. bought instead of custom commissions?

their relation to edwin’s also correlates to the mimic being in security breach too. they both came from the same place

jackie’s “happy birthday” sounds a lot like eclipses happy birthday as well. AUGH

i’m so much more excited for this game than i thought i would be but im SO excited.

tenko shimura: pro hero au headcanons (1 of ?)

anyways since none of us were very happy about tenko's quirk here's a bunch of headcanons of him with it <3

childhood (4-10)

similar to nana's, tenko's quirk is air walk. it is levitation/flight based. this can also alter his walking speed, as it manipulates gravity- he can use it to give himself a boost of air under his feet.

when it first developed, it was the night kotaro found out about him and hana in his office. he got so scared that he began floating away, grabbing into mon for stability- until they both began floating, and nao caught sight of her son and the dog spinning mid-air.

kotaro did not bode well with his son having a quirk so similar to his mother. his animosity only grew as time passed.

contrary to popular belief, tenko still has itchy and sensitive skin. the decay quirk only worsened it, but his skin condition is a direct effect of his father's abuse and the stress from it.

this gets a little better with time, but he still has occasional flare ups.

his hair did not turn blue/grey. instead, streaks of white appeared around the age of ten, from the consistent stress of kotaro.

nao would have to grab step-stools to grab tenko off the ceiling or high places- he liked to sit on top of the fridge.

expert hide and seek player with hana- she would get upset because he "hid too well" in cabinets and closet shelves.

he was afraid of heights for a little bit, but as he figured out how to use his quirk, he soon found that being in the air was much more peaceful than solid ground.

his favorite thing to do was air-jump. he called it his special move when playing. he'd jump off of countertops or his bed, and catch himself in the air before hitting the ground. (a few times, he forgot to activate the quirk- which ended up with some scraped knees and a few loose teeth getting knocked out).

loved playing heroes with hana when kotaro wasn't home, they would wear their hero feetie pajamas and run around, taking down "villains" (stuffed animals).

this is also around the time when he met touya. he thought touya's quirk was the coolest thing ever, and tried to convince him to "team up" when they got older.

kotaro did not allow touya over, as he was the son of a hero. tenko still snuck over from time to time, or vice versa.

could not stay still for shit. was always moving around and bouncing, eventually nao had to strap him to a dinner chair with a scarf to keep him seated for meals.

when touya went missing, he tried to fly around to find him (nao had to stop him, as he was going to get himself lost).

preteen (10-13)

began getting more experimental with his quirk. tried different tricks such as flips, illusions, and "combo-moves".

also experimented with speed, and would try and find his speed threshold around the neighborhood.

he could get higher now, which led to him hanging out on many rooftops and trees.

did not have fun running into a power line. he has a small lightning scar across his left thigh.

loved flying during storms, even though nao consistently worried he'd catch a cold.

still searched for touya. finally went to the mountain he had mentioned when they were kids, and found the area demolished. he sat there often, just waiting.

any extreme emotion caused his quirk to malfunction. if he was on the ground, he would start to float from embarrassment, disgust, or excitement (which always made things worse).

got in trouble a few times for skipping class by just...flying out of school.

eventually, kotaro banned the use of quirks in the house. this led to him getting grounded a lot, and he'd escape through his window.

met spinner around this time, as spinner was still in school. convinced him to game with him.

oh yeah, he's still a super mega nerd. plays more online games instead of single player.

loved to hang upside-down. would do it until he got nauseous- but he was extremely sensory-seeking.

still didn't have a lot of friends because of his father's influence as a kid, but he was bolder now and would bring spinner over and deal with the consequences after he left.

because spinner got bullied heavily, tenko stood up for him the best he could. this also led to a slight arrogance and irritation with heroes/hero society, because he could see it was unjust.

to add insult to kotaro's injury, tenko applied for UA and got accepted, having a bit of leverage being the grandson of nana shimura.

teenager (13-18)

once tenko reached his teenage years, he had developed his own morals and ideas of social justice.

he knew there were flaws in the system, he saw it in his childhood and his friends.

emo phase. emo phase. emo phase.

naos eyeliner? stolen. hana's nail polish? also stolen.

kotaro did NOT like that very much. tenko didn't care though.

therefore, when he sought out to be a hero to defy his father's wishes, he also did it to fight against the system, having hopes of reform. he wanted to be the first hero to "make waves".

his defiant nature made it difficult for him to pass some classes.

punk phase too! fuck the system

around this time, he started to question himself. constantly felt like he was being pulled between two sides, which caused a lot of stress for him. started to falter.

he wanted to be a hero, but he felt like he was doing it only as means of revenge- which made him feel like a fraud.

he constantly wondered about touya. where he went, if he was dead or not, if he was happier wherever he was.

began rebelling more. both against his father and school/authority figures. had a small vandalism/graffiti stint, but didn't last long because he didn't like drawing or writing much.

used flying as a coping mechanism for a lot of things. would get out of school and start flying around, not coming back to the dorms until late at night.

began his search for touya again. using all of his spare time to research the todoroki family, only to find everything about touya had disappeared from the internet- as if he never existed.

has really good control over his quirk now since he uses it so often (even though he's technically not supposed to). does lots of tricks with it.

tried to take a nap in the air once and fell. 0/10 ouch.

doesn't make many friends, instead decides to stay close to hana and spinner. he's loyal lol

adulthood (18+)

gets his national hero license. doesn't choose a hero name- just goes by shimura, paying homage to nana's name.

cuts ties with kotaro. eventually, nao and kotaro divorce.

visits his mother often, hana got her doctorate in quirk medicine & science.

dabi makes his debut as a villain at age 23, following stain's ideology. tomura is 21 now. theres something familiar about him. pro-hero tenko is determined to find out why. [this is also around the time deku (and the rest of class 1-A) begin UA.]

tenko's hair is now streaked white. think like chunky highlights.

he has a few scars accrued from his time as a hero, but also from his father's incessant abuse.

has precise control over his quirk now- and while he likes to keep a lower profile, his hero ranking shoots up as more people compare him to nana, mentor of all might.

his hero outfit is similar to nana's as well. black bodysuit, with red accents, and a cape. he has lightweight red shoes to match, and his suit is breathable for prolonged air activity.

"min-maxes his character". basically strategizes how to best utilize his quirk in terms of game mechanics. he's still a nerd.

takes a lot of inspiration from stealth characters, like rogue and sniper subclasses.

is an excellent support/spy grade hero due to his ability to float and hide himself either mid-air or in inconceivable spots (he never lost hide and seek, remember?)

one of the first pros to speak against hero society

meets hawks as well, they bond over flying :P

get in close with him because he works w endeavor, tenko uses that to try and debunk the touya case

has a relatively calm demeanor, but can get heated quick if he struggles during missions, impatient even (he holds himself to extremely high standards)

prevents spinner from joining the villains but couldn't prevent him from becoming a hikikomori. tries his best to get him out of it.

huge advocate for victims of child abuse and quirk discrimination. T_T
