I love Daffodils by William Wordsworth so fucking much

Okay, to preface, I know that it's not the actual name of the poem.

It's such a pretty poem, the imagery of the daffodils swaying, the comparison with the stars, and the thought of it making the poet's heart dance. The last two lines especially make make my heart feel oh so warm. I love it.

My personal interpretation of it is related to my life. Most of it consisted of me not having many friends, and when I did have people to hang out with, I never really felt as if they got me. Things stayed that way until the last two years of high school, when I met two of my people who actually understand me. They are the best of friends anyone could ever ask for. This was followed by me getting into college and meeting so many amazing people. The feeling of them not quite getting me still persists. But I must admit, they're amazing as friends. These friends of mine are the daffodils of my life. I often think of them and how grateful I am for being able to meet these people. My heart too, dances with these daffodils.
