OMG I saw the spoilers for the new chapter and I immediately thought of your recent theory post about Sanji! I think you are correct about his trajectory in the story! Holy Sh*t! Now, I’m even more excited for your thoughts and other theories based on the new chapter.
Hello!!! Ahh, thank you for reading that! You mean Gaban, the missionary of love, and the star thing, right? Well, not gonna lie, I'm excited to see where this leads.
I did notice some similarities to what I wrote, but I'd rather not think too much about it for now. 😅 I want to wait for more chapters to come out before connecting it back to Sanji, hehe. Mostly, I’m waiting for a certain thing related to Devil Fruits to be confirmed before saying anything!
Again, thanks for reading! About the recent lore, I'm just trying to find time to sit down and write about the recent chapters—which I'm itching to do!

My thoughts on Sanji’s Clear Clear Fruit thing in Thriller Bark: I don’t think it’s written to be 100% comedy but I also don’t completely buy the headcanons about it being related to his childhood. What I think the scene conveys is that Sanji constantly lowers himself to the level of the people he hates. This isn’t a guy who thinks he’s a worthy, valuable, or even “good” person. He tells Absalom that they’re “the same”, he’s just another pervert like any man in the world. But that scene is so ironic because Sanji’s actions prove completely otherwise. People always complain about what he says, but what about what he does? He protects Nami, puts her at first priority, and felt like even the act of dirtying her dress would be the greatest sin. On first glance Sanji vs Absalom is set up to be some sort of funny perv vs perv fight, like “haha, there’s a right way and a wrong way to be horny!” But up till this point, Sanji’s fights have always contained brief and restrained glances into his kindness and selflessness. He will show his enemy a glimpse of his kindness. Then, as if he’s caught himself lacking, instantly do a 180 and close himself up. Think the time he “forgave” Bon Clay then immediately kicking him. Think how he “believed” Jabra’s manipulation (which idk if it’s anime filler or not!). Think even about that time after Baratie when he was about to feed the sea king who attacked them, then decided to beat it up instead. Of course, these also serve as prime comedic moments. But Oda expertly merges his gags with actual thematic messages in ways that make you laugh and then feel a bit uncomfortable after thinking more about it (He does this to Sanji the most btw). Sanji is kind, but he’s afraid of being seen as kind. He needs to act like his love for Nami and Robin stems from perversion instead of genuine respect and adoration. He needs to act like his sacrifice for Zoro was a dick-measuring attempt. If you ask me I don’t think WCI was planned out at this point in the manga, but Oda was definitely hinting at the fact that there was something more to Sanji than his Baratie story.

What are your thoughts on the new lore introduced in Elbaf?
It got me extremely excited! The lore of One Piece (and the Viking setting) is what’s really pumping me up at this point in the manga, to be honest. Now, if you're asking what I think the poem could mean, I have a lot of thoughts running through my mind. I just need to gather them a bit before writing them down—hehe.
Thanks for asking! What are YOUR thoughts though?

how to find literally any post on a blog in seconds (on desktop)
there are so many posts about ~tumblr is so broken, you can’t find any post on your own blog, it’s impossible, bluhrblub~
I am here to tell you otherwise! it is in fact INCREDIBLY easy to find a post on a blog if you’re on desktop/browser and you know what you’re doing:
url.tumblr.com/tagged/croissant will bring up EVERY post on the blog tagged with the specific and exact phrase #croissant. every single post, every single time. in chronological order starting with the most recent post. note: it will not find #croissants or that time you made the typo #croidnssants. for a tag with multiple words, it’s just /tagged/my-croissant and it will show you everything with the exact phrase #my croissant
url.tumblr.com/tagged/croissant/chrono will bring up EVERY post on the blog tagged with the exact phrase #croissant, but it will show them in reverse order with the oldest first
url.tumblr.com/search/croissant isn’t as perfect at finding everything, but it’s generally loads better than the search on mobile. it will find a good array of posts that have the word croissant in them somewhere. could be in the body of the post (op captioned it “look at my croissant”) or in the tags (#man I want a croissant). it won’t necessarily find EVERYTHING like /tagged/ does, but I find it’s still more reliable than search on mobile. you can sometimes even find posts by a specific user by searching their url. also, unlike whatever random assortment tumblr mobile pulls up, it will still show them in a more logically chronological order
url.tumblr.com/day/2020/11/05 will show you every post on the blog from november 5th, 2020, in case you’re taking a break from croissants to look for destiel election memes
url.tumblr.com/archive/ is search paradise. easily go to a particular month and see all posts as thumbnails! search by post type! search by tags but as thumbnails now
url.tumblr.com/archive/filter-by/audio will show you every audio post on your blog (you can also filter by other post types). sometimes a little imperfect if you’re looking for a video when the op embedded the video in a text post instead of posting as a video post, etc
url.tumblr.com/archive/tagged/croissant will show you EVERY post on the blog tagged with the specific and exact phrase #croissant, but it will show you them in the archive thumbnail view divided by months. very useful if you’re looking for a specific picture of a croissant that was reblogged 6 months ago and want to be able to scan for it quickly
url.tumblr.com/archive/filter-by/audio/tagged/croissant will show you every audio post tagged with the specific phrase #croissant (you can also filter by photo or text instead, because I don’t know why you have audio posts tagged croissant)
the tag system on desktop tumblr is GENUINELY amazing for searching within a specific blog!
caveat: this assumes a person HAS a desktop theme (or “custom theme”) enabled. a “custom theme” is url.tumblr.com, as opposed to tumblr.com/url. I’ve heard you have to opt-into the former now, when it used to be the default, so not everyone HAS a custom theme where you can use all those neat url tricks.
Tumblr media
if the person doesn’t have a “custom theme” enabled, you’re beholden to the search bar. still, I’ve found the search bar on tumblr.com/url is WAY more reliable than search on mobile. for starters, it tends to bring posts up in a sensible order, instead of dredging up random posts from 2013 before anything else
if you’re on mobile, I’m sorry. godspeed and good luck finding anything. (my one tip is that if you’re able to click ON a tag rather than go through the search bar, you’ll have better luck. if your mutual has recently reblogged a post tagged #croissant, you can click #croissant and it’ll bring up everything tagged #croissant just like /tagged/croissant. but if there’s no readily available tag to click on, you have to rely on the mobile search bar and its weird bizarre whims)

Whose Straw Hat dream will come true first and last?
Tumblr media
Now that we are approaching Elbaf and the final stages of the story, I want to share a theory that's been on my mind for a while about the dreams of the East Blue group.
Tumblr media
In the famous barrel scene where Sanji, Luffy, Zoro, Nami, and Usopp share their dreams, I find it interesting how Oda chose the order in which they revealed them. For example, he could have followed the order of their appearances in the story (or reversed it, making Luffy share his dream last for dramatic effect). But he chose to start with Sanji and end with Usopp.
And I think t's worth noting that this same order was preserved in the Live Action adaptation.
Now that we are in Elbaf, a place deeply connected to Usopp—who dreams of becoming a renowned warrior, and Elbaf is known for its brave fighters—I believe his dream might be the first to come true among the group.
However, even before this realization, I’ve had a theory that the order in which Oda had the Straw Hats state their dreams is actually the reverse order in which their dreams will come true. In other words:
Usopp → Nami → Zoro → Luffy → Sanji
(Come to think of it, the dream order does follow the order of the Straw Hat's appearance, the only one who is out of order actually IS Sanji lol)
(Of course, in between their dreams, the remaining five Straw Hats’ dreams will also come true. I’m suspecting that Robin is very close to hers as well)
If we consider their journey so far, this reversed order could hint at how the story will unfold.
Usopp’s dream will come true by the end of Elbaf
Tumblr media
First, we know there will be a grand war in One Piece before the story ends. Luffy, whether he wants it or not, will need a massive army for this war. While he already gained one in Dressrosa, the giants could become involved—and possibly essential. I think that by the end of the arc, either Loki or Hajrudin will become the leader of Elbaf (probably King) and ally with Luffy on his Grand Fleet.
In Elbaf, where the giants have chosen not to fight anymore, I’m sure their perspective will change. Given the shifting tides, they’ll likely realize the need to protect themselves and return to their warrior roots. I think Usopp will play a key role in convincing them to fight again. In doing so, he’ll finally be recognized as the Great Warrior of the Sea by many.
Nami’s dream will come true by Laugh Tale
Tumblr media
After Elbaf, it’s highly likely that Laugh Tale is next. Laugh Tale marks the end of their journey around the world. By this point, even if they haven’t physically visited every region besides the Grand Line, Nami will likely have completed her world map using the maps and references they’ve collected during their travels.
Zoro’s dream will come true during the Great War
Tumblr media
Following that, the Great War will commence—a conflict that will likely bring back many of the Straw Hats’ previous foes, such as Doflamingo, Wapol, and possibly Buggy, Crocodile, and Mihawk. During this time, I believe Zoro will stay behind in a critical moment to face Mihawk in a rematch. He’ll win and finally achieve his dream of becoming the world’s greatest swordsman.
Luffy’s dream will come true by the end of the Great War
Tumblr media
During the final battle, the identity of the main antagonist remains unclear. Many theories suggest Blackbeard, Imu, or even Buggy or Shanks. However, regardless of who it is, what matters is that Luffy will emerge victorious and reshape the world forever. There’s a prophecy that he will destroy Fishman Island, and many believe this will happen because Luffy will destroy the Red Line—specifically, the section where Mariejois resides. This act would dismantle the division and tyranny represented by the Celestial Dragons. By the end, Luffy will symbolize unity and freedom, fulfilling his destiny as the Pirate King. Let’s remember that we don’t know what exactly is his dream, but we do know that he needs to become Pirate King to achieve it.
Sanji’s dream will come true by the end of the One Piece
Tumblr media
Finally, with the world at peace, the All Blue will form where the symbol of tyranny and separation—Mary Geoise—once stood. It will become a paradise, connecting the North, South, East, and West Blues. This will also be the place where Luffy liberated the world. Sanji, at last, will cook a massive feast for all the companions they made along their journey, celebrating with everyone’s favorite meals since now he has all of the ingredients in the world.
I guess this is it. This theory is not exactly new lol as I just found out, as I went looking for images in google, that a lot of fans are also theorizing the same thing — which is actually a good sign for me lol
To end it, in an interview, Oda mentioned that he already has the final panel of the story planned. I’m willing to bet that this final scene will be a grand image of the Straw Hats enjoying a banquet together. Maybe we get a prologue after that, but I bet that the official end will have the Straw Hats all together.

Some Treasure Planet / One Piece edits
Made by me; I thought that the other characters would be Brook as B.E.N and Arlong as Scroop but I did not feel like drawing them.

I made more DIY cards/prints from my drawings
The paper that came with the set is a unique material, it looks like. I already tested the prints on other paper first, but even though I input the same settings the colours came out different on the card paper.
I did the test with paper of similar thickness, but the fibres of the material must be just different and still affected the look of the print somehow.

Clap of thunder...
So, when Nami hits both Zoro and Sanji accidentally on Enies Lobby, Sanji says this to Nami:
Tumblr media
This reminded me of the french expression: "un coup de tonnerre" (which translates as "a clap of thunder")
This expression is used metaphorically in romance to describe a sudden, intense, and dramatic event or realization. It can refer to a moment of overwhelming emotion, such as when someone falls deeply in love.
The idea is that the moment strikes with the force and surprise of thunder, creating a lasting impact.
In a romantic context, it could imply a moment of dramatic revelation or a powerful, unexpected spark between two people.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Makes it even funnier/ cuter the fact that we indeed could see Sanji's "clap of thunder" moment when he saw Nami laughing.
