What’s a ship week?

A ship week is a fan event where for a week we make works about one ship! Think about it like Inktober, you get one different prompt for each day and you make something out of it, but with the same medium, or, in this case, same ship!

Is this only for fanfiction/fanart?

No! You can use whatever medium you desire for the prompts. The most common methods are fanfiction and fanart, but if you want to create a cosplay or some fake social media posts or anything else your creative heart desires, go for it!

Do I have to do both prompts each day?

No! Each day is designed to have two options, one of which is good for fanart as well as fanfic. You CAN choose to do both prompts if you want, or incorporate both prompts into a single work, but it's designed to give some options and variety!

Do we have to create each piece during its own day?

Nope! Some people like the challenge of creating something different every day, but you can totally prepare them in advance if you want to. You don’t even have to complete all of the prompts, you can do just the few you like, no pressure!

How do I participate?

Just create whatever you like with the prompts you’re given and post them under the “#CadinaWeek” and “#CadinaWeek2024” tags on Tumblr. We will also have an AO3 collection (keep reading for more info on this).

What's this about an AO3 collection?

Once our AO3 account is fully set up, we will be creating a collection for Cadina Week that you can submit your works to. We will be moderating this lightly, just to make sure that it's actually Cadina Week submissions and not spam, but we welcome all who want to participate!

Can I post NSFW?

Yes, please just make sure it is appropriately tagged on Tumblr and/or AO3!

Cadina Prompts

• Regina finds Cady’s diary and sees a passage where Cady reveals she likes Regina.

• Cady visits Regina at the hospital and apologizes. There are kisses!

• Cady visits Regina at the hospital and while Regina is still unconscious, confesses her feelings unaware that Regina can hear her. When Regina wakes up she remembers everything and once out of the hospital goes to Cady’ house to ask her about Cady’s feelings. Cady would know Regina getting out of the hospital, but of course Cady is too nervous to see Regina after her confession.

• During the talent show, when the Plastics and Cady are all in the line one in front of another and Cady goes backwards, while Regina goes forward, Cady gets turned on. Later that night, Regina gets Cady to tell her why she got so flustered. (Honestly looks like Regina is taking Cady behind with a strap. Lol.)

• Cady always gets flustered when she’s around Regina and doesn’t know why. Janis and Damian help her realize she likes Regina. Obviously kisses involved with Cady and Regina.

• Cady sees Regina kiss Aaron and realizes she has feelings for Regina. Regina sees Cady run off crying and makes the decision to go after her.

• Regina is Cady’s first time and Cady is very nervous.

• Cady goes to Regina’s house to leave flowers and wants to apologize. She tries to knock on the door, but chickens out, but Regina opens it before Cady can leave.

• Cady is struggling in school and not eating and Regina notices. (Not an eating disorder, Cady is just having a rough time. Make up the reason)

• Regina walks in on Cady touching herself thinking about Regina (though Cady’s never really done it before and Regina doesn’t know Cady’s thinking of her). Cady is very embarrassed and flustered. Regina decides to help and try to pry who Cady was thinking of out of Cady.

• Cady likes Regina and decides to leave her secret admirer letters.

• Regina and Cady go shopping and when they get home try on the clothes they bought, but Cady is shy about her body.

• Cady wants to try something new in bed, but is way too nervous and embarrassed to ask Regina. (Like she wants to be handcuffed or taken from behind or something like that).
