Iliad time travel au where Achilles gains the ability to go back in time before the Trojan war. Through much negotiation Aphrodite gives him this ability with the express purposes of saving Patroclus.

He goes back continuously and no matter what he does somehow they always get dragged back into the war, because the fates decided Patroclus must die there; but Achilles doesn’t give up, continuously resetting the loop to try and stop his death.

I’m imagining a Madoka and Homura esque fate for them both.

On god, I didn’t talk to Bathsheba for ages in game and internally started to call her Bathesda to the point where I literally forgot her name lol

Date everything is super fun mostly because occasionally I find myself thinking things like: “Ah wait, I told the sink I’d talk to the Magnifying glass.” Or “Why is this bed so horny?”

I haven’t played spore since I was a literal child: further more I haven’t played the space stage of spore ever, it’s never really interested me.

But last week I redownloaded it and oh my god. First off, all the stages were as fun as I remember, and the joy of creating floppy dick creatures is not lost on me.

BUT THE SPACE STAGE!?!?

Never in my life have I had such visceral hatred for npcs. I have never felt more satisfied then when through trading and allies I brought down the Gnosh Empire, because those assholes attacked me out of nowhere, within 15 seconds of me entering space.

I literally colonised all the planets around them and bombed their cities until they ceased to exist.

And that was the most satisfied I’ve ever felt in any game ever.

You ever have a rare pair you just know you’ll never find a fanfic for unless you write it yourself?

I had a revelation the other day that Lydia Frye from Assassins Creed and Jack Marston from Red Dead Redemption are very similar in age. Lydia born 1893 and Jack born 1895.

The thought of them both in WW1 plagues me. RDR and AC as a crossover excites me already because who doesn’t want Cowboy Assassins, but this concept specifically of Jack Marston, who became a gunslinger in an age where the old west was dying out, in a desperate bid to find purpose and meaning, joins the remnants of Connor Kenways Order. An order Lydia has lived with her whole life in and more importantly a creed that’s slowly losing itself to the Templar order whom had a hand in the war across the world.

I dunno, little obsessed with the idea of Jack working hard to forge a new path in the light of his parents death and the war, while Lydia fights desperately to keep the life with the Assassins that’s under threat of complete Templar takeover on the global scale.

I feel like this is gonna manifest into a fic later it’s really rattling around in my mind.
