Everyone either insults Will's appearance or they objectify him to a gross degree.

The "Will is ugly", "Will is hot now?" and "Will has always been hot" takes are equally bad because they completely miss the point. Will is an actor doing what is required of him for a role. There is quite literally no need to be this obsessed with this man's body.

If he were a woman people would be outraged by the way online culture treats him.

It could be, I was wondering about that too. You're definitely right about the stars! Is the Diamond Ball the same as the Queen's ball? The scene above looks like it be could be the same gown as the one below in this photo from 2x01, which I'm 90% sure is supposed to be the ball hosted by the Queen. I zoomed in and I think there are stars on it too (and the pattern goes up her shoulder in the same way), but it's a little hard to tell because the lighting is so different. Philippa is also wearing gold crystals, but she's behind Portia so, again it's kind of hard to tell what's happening.
