Pachube Feed - Uptime
Today I wrote a script for testing my ISP connection uptime. I created a pachube feed to make it visual!

Santa bought me a weather station (an Oregon clone) this year. Since I bought an Arduino, my interest in electronics has expanded a lot聽 :) . I wanted to know if I could monitor the signal and fetch the data send to the weather console. Searching the internet I found this article.

A few weeks ago AMD released the Radeon HD 6970 and Radeon HD 6950. Both cards are based on AMD's new Cayman core which is their first graphics processor to use a VLIW4 shader configuration. Just like on all other similar products, AMD's two Cayman variants, called Cayman Pro and Cayman XT, are based on the exact same GPU silicon. The model variant a GPU chip becomes is decided after the die is produced, at some point before it is put on the card. Creating new SKUs from the same silicon by locking features has been common practice in the industry since at least the Radeon 9500 in 2002.

GPU Performance,Power Usage and Prices overview 12-2010
The C`T is a monthly (dutch/german) IT-magazine, in this month issue there`s a topic about choosing the right configuration if you are buying a new PC ( or upgrade the old one). They discus the different components in a PC and provide the reader with a summary of the latest available hardware, its features and performance.
One of the subjects is a comparison about the differences (feature set, power usage and performance) between GPUs. I`ve taken the liberty to made this information digitally available to you :-)
