Blacksmith Raven
Learned a lot about colors in this piece. Don't worry! They're not burning their feets, they are a magical raven blacksmith. :>

Rarity accompanied me when I went to make a Damascus steel knife on a blacksmithing course.
(It was really hard to do and honestly, most of it was done by the nice helpful blacksmith staff teaching me! I did expect it to be very hard work and my goodness, it certainly was.)
In Herefordshire, in England.

It's pretty interesting that the Blacksmith has records of Hunters from Remnant despite being in the Ever After, so I think they might be Alyx reincarnated.

Both Alyx and the Blacksmith are designed with Afro-centric features in mind (for me the hair locs in the Blacksmith were the main giveaway).

Alyx's waistband looks similar to the colours of the locs.
And we can't forget the quote from the latest episode, "Alyx wanted to fix everything she broke in the Ever After." And guess what blacksmiths do.

I recently started blacksmithing. These are a few things I've made. A couple knives and a steel hairpin. My friend wanted a hairpin she could use as a weapon if necessary so I made a "tactical hairpin"

Saint Eligius
590-660
Feast Day: December 1
Patronage: goldsmiths, metalworkers, ironworkers, blacksmiths, mechanics, locksmiths, taxi drivers, horses
Saint Eligius was born in France and became a skilled metalsmith. His fame spread and he was appointed “master of the mint” by King ClotaireII for his honesty and skill. With the wealth he acquired, Eligius ransomed slaves, built churches and monasteries and was generous to the poor. After serving in the French court to Clotaire’s son, Eligius became a priest in 640 and eventually a bishop and preached throughout France and Belgium, converting many. He used his talents and wealth for society and the people. He was widely venerated during the middle ages.

Finally finished with adjustments and got the bees wax finish on this. I'm very happy with how it worked out, especially for a first try, and I can't wait to make more. Should be something fun to do when I'm ready to teach. I'll also keep this in mind for possible videos next year.
If you like it, keep your eyes peeled on the etsy shop next week! Or feel free to reach out to me to snag it early ;). Hope you all have a great weekend!
