damian isn't my only muse, he's just the one with the strongest hold on my brain at all times. i may end up making this a damian centric blog and having sideblogs for the rest of my idiots but for now this is a multimuse. that being said; some notes on my damian portrayal below.

- i write damian anywhere from the time he first goes to gotham when he is ten years old to far beyond that. i could be persuaded to write threads taking place during his early childhood in the league, but we would have to be good friends for me to consider it. - i don't portray talia as a bad mother. flawed? certainly. evil? ehh, not really. talia is more a byproduct of her being brought up by ra's and the league lifestyle in general but i do think she genuinely loves her son and would do anything for him. damian knows this; he doesn't all that much agree with her methods, but he knows that his mother loves him. - damian is a weird little creature of a man and also has two hands. the main ships i have for him, regardless of circumstance, are jon kent / superboy & nika / flatline. he is by default multiship and those ships are always going to be in different canons unless stated otherwise. - damian is first and foremost dick's robin. he also does not take over the mantle of batman at any point in his life. he retires from being a vigilante after graduating high school except in emergency circumstance, and goes to college and then med school to become a nurse. - my portrayal of damian is mostly based on the supersons comics and the batman and robin comics. - damian is trans. this is irrelevant to literally anything at all but you need to know this. it's important to me. - i have several irl faceclaims for damian; emilio saykara and lukas von horbatschewsky to name two of them. it's very difficult finding faceclaims for damian that are completely accurate but i am trying my best. that begin said, i only really use irl faceclaims for comics characters as a form of reference when describing them. i don't use icons and likely never will. - okay, that's all my notes for now. will almost definitely add more later.

while a blade did slip into his hand at the sudden noise, damian ceased his motion to attack when he realized exactly who was in front of him. at her words, he scoffed, the knife slipping back into the sleeve of his costume. " i am hardly a child, dew. " damian's eyes rolled, exasperated. " i am permitted to go on patrols alone, you know. "

"boo...!" dew leans back in case the boy decided to attack her for taking him off guard, her flying broom went from one side to the other, her hands on her lap while her hooded eyes looked at him, "good evening, it seems you are alone tonight, does bruce know about that?"
