30 Days of Joy (Day 10) Day #10 The Center Of My Joy Breakfast Joy John 15:10 "If you keep My commandments [if you continue to obey My instructions], you will abide in My love and live on in it, just as I have obeyed My Father’s commandments and live on in His love." Lunch Joy John 15:11 "I have told you these things, that My joy and delight may be in you, and that your joy and gladness may be of full measure and complete and overflowing." Dinner Joy "Jesus, You're the center of my joy
All that's good and perfect comes from You
You're the heart of my contentment
Hope for all I do, Jesus, You're the center of my joy"... Jesus is the center of our joy.... He teaches us through His word and His example and in that, His joy and delight is in us.... And as He rejoices and delights in us, our joy and gladness is full, complete and overflowing....In Him, there is fullness, in Him there is healing, In Him there is deliverance, our completeness is found in Him....we often find happiness in people, happiness in places and happiness in things....we often confuse happiness with joy and we assume that people bring us joy, but people can't do for us what Jesus can, they can not pour into you like Jesus...they can not give you hope like Jesus...our joy is centered around our Jesus...the fullness of our joy is found in the center of our joy, Jesus Christ!!! Dessert Joy John 15:12 "This is My commandment: that you love one another [just] as I have loved you." ~ dws (wop) #aseasonofjoy #yourNOWseason

30 Days of Joy (Day 9) Day #9 Released To Experience Joy Breakfast Joy Romans 15:31 "[Pray] that I may be delivered (rescued) from the unbelievers in Judea and that my mission of relief to Jerusalem may be acceptable and graciously received by the saints (God’s people there)," Lunch Joy Romans 15:32 "So that by God’s will I may subsequently come to you with joy (with a happy heart) and be refreshed [by the interval of rest] in your company." Dinner Joy As men and women of God, we have been in the company of unbelievers, and at times, being in the presence of those who don't believe can be difficult.... There are times you find yourself walking on eggshells because you, for a lack of a better word, don't want to offend them...there are times we feel as if we can't move into the ministry that we are called to because we have often allowed the very life to be sucked out of us because of one thing or another....we have allowed ourselves to live in a place of bondage to the point where the very joy that we had has been sucked out of us....but God... When we walk up out of bondage, when we are delivered from the grips of the enemy... When the shackles have been taken off, there is a joy that overtakes us and strengthens us for the work that we are ordained to do... Dessert Joy Romans 15:33 "May [our] peace-giving God be with you all! Amen (so be it)." ~ dws (wop) #aseasonofjoy #yourNOWseason

30 Days of Joy (Day 8) Day #8 His Joy Is My Strength Breakfast Joy Nehemiah 8:9 "And Nehemiah, who was the governor, and Ezra the priest and scribe, and the Levites who taught the people said to all of them, This day is holy to the Lord your God; mourn not nor weep. For all the people wept when they heard the words of the Law" Lunch Joy Nehemiah 8:10 "Then [Ezra] told them, Go your way, eat the fat, drink the sweet drink, and send portions to him for whom nothing is prepared; for this day is holy to our Lord. And be not grieved and depressed, for the joy of the Lord is your strength and stronghold." Dinner Joy Have you ever really asked yourself about the joy of the Lord? These very words we can take comfort in, the joy of the Lord is our strength.... In a world that is so crazy, filled with so much drama, issues, hurts and pains, trials and tribulations, in the midst of walking in depression, oppression... There is a place in God called joy...and it's in that joy that we find strength....There is always going to be turmoil...there will be heartaches and pain, but above all else, there is a God... And that God, His joy is the very thing that strengthens us, His joy gives us hope and encouragement....it brings peace in the midst of a storm... It's in that joy we find faith, and in it, we have the ability to stand in the face of adversity with the assurance of our victory.... Don't walk around sad, broken, distressed and depressed....the joy of the Lord IS our strength. Dessert Joy Nehemiah 8:11 "So the Levites quieted all the people, saying, Be still, for the day is holy. And do not be grieved and sad." ~ dws (wop) #aseasonofjoy #yourNOWseason

30 days of Joy (Day 7) Day #7 Joy in God's Proclamations Breakfast Joy Psalm 119:110 "The wicked have laid a snare for me, Yet I do not wander from Your precepts." Lunch Joy Psalm 119:111 "I have taken Your testimonies as a heritage forever, For they are the joy of my heart." Dinner Joy Are the testimonies of God, His proclamations a joy to your heart? His word, His teachings, are they a joy to your heart? His word shall be our heritage forever and should be a joy to our hearts...His word is everything to us, it teaches us how to live, how to love, how to forgive, how to grow, how to walk unified, how to submit, surrender, praise, pray....you get the picture yet????......His word gives us our forever...the more we can take hold of God's Word in our lives, the more we find ourselves taking joy in His word....there are many things that we look towards to bring us joy but those things are often temporary...we often feel as if our cars, money, houses, etc., bring us joy but these things are only temporary....we look to our friends and our family to bring us joy yet friends and family may walk away.....we look to so many things to complete us and bring us joy but in comparison to God....nothing holds a candle to God....it's in Him and His word that we find joy....complete joy. It's in God that we find forever! Dessert Joy Psalm 119:112 "I have inclined my heart to perform Your statutes Forever, even to the end." ~ dws (wop) #aseasonofjoy #yourNOWseason

30 days of Joy (Day 6) Day #6 Joy in The Word Breakfast Joy Proverbs 15:22 "Without consultation and wise advice, plans are frustrated, But with many counselors they are established and succeed." Lunch Joy Proverbs 15:23 "A man has joy in giving an appropriate answer, And how good and delightful is a word spoken at the right moment—how good it is!" Dinner Joy How many times have you been having just one of those days, and all of a sudden someone comes and speaks a word to and it changes the whole course of your day? And the interesting thing is, it does not have to be this long prolific word, it can be just a few words...but those few words can change the course of your day, it can change the direction of your life and can bring sheer joy to your spirit... People have been on the verge of suicide and a word has been spoken and it changed their lives forever and given them so much joy...one word can help you to see the joy that God has placed in you....and the awesomeness that He placed in you...sometimes we can't see the joy, we can't feel the joy, we can't experience the joy because we don't know the joy UNTIL the word, the right word is spoken in you, through you, over you...now go and speak a word...and allow someone to experience the joy of that word. Dessert Joy Proverbs 15:24 "The [chosen] path of life leads upward for the wise, That he may keep away from Sheol (the nether world, the place of the dead) below." ~ dws (wop) #aseasonofjoy #yourNOWseason

30 Days of Joy (Day 5) Day #5 Complete Joy Breakfast Joy John 16:23 "And when that time comes, you will ask nothing of Me [you will need to ask Me no questions]. I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, that My Father will grant you whatever you ask in My Name [as presenting all that I Am]." Lunch Joy John 16:24 "Up to this time you have not asked a [single] thing in My Name [as presenting all that I Am]; but now ask and keep on asking and you will receive, so that your joy (gladness, delight) may be full and complete." Dinner Joy The bible tells us that whatsoever we ask in Jesus name, the Father will grant to us....but the problem is for us, we ask BUT we don't ask in Jesus' name....we ask and we ask and we ask but there is no power in our asking....the real power comes when we ask according to God's will in Jesus' name....it's in the asking in His name that we shall receive what we ask and it is in that where we obtain complete joy... The Father wants us to ask of Him, there is so much that He wants to give unto us, but we fail to ask.... When we ask and receive in Jesus' name, we obtain joy...fullness of joy... When we take God at His Word, we receive joy, when we walk in obedience to God's Word, we have joy...when we ask and receive in His name, there is fullness of joy...when we trust in Him... There is joy...no matter what we face in life... as long as we are in Him...we shall have joy!! Dessert Joy John 16:25 "I have told you these things in parables (veiled language, allegories, dark sayings); the hour is now coming when I shall no longer speak to you in figures of speech, but I shall tell you about the Father in plain words and openly (without reserve)." ~ dws (wop) #aseasonofjoy #yourNOWseason

30 Days of Joy (Day 4) Day #4 Joy In God's Consolation Breakfast Joy Psalm 94:19 "In the multitude of my [anxious] thoughts within me, Your comforts cheer and delight my soul!" Lunch Joy Psalm 94:20-21 "Shall the throne of iniquity have fellowship with You—they who frame and hide their unrighteous doings under [the sacred name of] law? They band themselves together against the life of the [consistently] righteous and condemn the innocent to death." Dinner Joy Day in and day out, many thoughts consume our mind...many things concern us on a day to day basis...family, health, finances, employment...life...and sometimes the very things that we think can consume us and ultimately overwhelm us...but it's in God's consolation that we find joy and strength in the midst of the craziness. God is our rock, our defense and our high tower...He comforts us and protects us...He shields us from all hurt, harm and danger...He is the one that restores and replenishes us when we have had too much...It is encouraging to know that God delights in us and that we can delight in Him...that He is with us in the good times as well as the bad, that He comforts us and consoles us through the experiences of life...and through His comfort, we can have joy. Dessert Joy Psalm 94:22-23 "But the Lord has become my High Tower and Defense, and my God the Rock of my refuge. And He will turn back upon them their own iniquity and will wipe them out by means of their own wickedness; the Lord our God will wipe them out." ~ dws (wop) #aseasonofjoy #yourNOWseason

30 Days of Joy (Day 3) Day #3 Joyful in God Breakfast Joy Habakkuk 3:17 "Though the fig tree does not blossom and there is no fruit on the vines, [though] the product of the olive fails and the fields yield no food, though the flock is cut off from the fold and there are no cattle in the stalls," Lunch Joy Habakkuk 3:18 "Yet I will rejoice in the Lord; I will exult in the [victorious] God of my salvation!" Dinner Joy What do you do when everything is shutting down; you feel as if you have hit a brick wall in life...your happiness is gone....what do you do??? You find joy in God, the source of your strength and salvation! God is victorious and in Him, you have attained the victory. God gives us the courage to stand in the face of adversity and the realization that if the world is against us that He is with us...because of God I am reminded not to look at the state of things in this world... not to look at things in the natural but to see it in the spiritual...Having joy in God is saying that we trust God, we believe in His power and authority, we submit ourselves to Him and we know that no matter what takes place, no matter what happens, God is in control and He has it all worked out! God has our best interest at heart and for that we can rejoice in Him...Rejoice in the Lord always, be joyful in the Lord always...Rejoice!! Dessert Joy Habakkuk 3:19 "The Lord God is my Strength, my personal bravery, and my invincible army; He makes my feet like hinds’ feet and will make me to walk [not to stand still in terror, but to walk] and make [spiritual] progress upon my high places [of trouble, suffering, or responsibility]!" ~ dws (wop) #aseasonofjoy #yourNOWseason

30 days of Joy (Day 2) Day #2 God Rejoicing Over You Breakfast Joy Zephaniah 3:15 "For then it will be that] the Lord has taken away the judgments against you; He has cast out your enemy. The King of Israel, even the Lord [Himself], is in the midst of you; [and after He has come to you] you shall not experience or fear evil any more." Lunch Joy Zephaniah 3:16 "In that day it shall be said to Jerusalem, Fear not, O Zion. Let not your hands sink down or be slow and listless." Dinner Joy Have you ever imagined God rejoicing over you with joy? Our Father loves us so much that He takes delight in rejoicing over us with joy. There is so much that we do daily, so many times we have fallen short of God's glory ...so many times, we as His children disappoint Him, our Father and yet, because of His infinite love, He rejoices over us with joy...and the joy that He has for us is the same joy that we too have its just many of us fail to recognize it....and for that reason alone, we walk around with our heads hanging down feeling lost and alone without a friend in the world. But just as God rejoices over us in joy when we are "misbehaving" we too must rejoice with a spirit of joy. God is in the midst of us, that's a reason to have joy...He rest in silent satisfaction and does not "throw it up in our faces" about our sins nor does He bring them back up...that's a reason to have joy...He exults over us with singing...that's a reason to have joy...He looks at us and sees His success as our Creator....that's a reason for us to have joy... He rejoices over us in joy...He rejoices over you with joy...He rejoices over me with joy...and for that, I have joy!! Dessert Joy Zephaniah 3:17 "The Lord your God is in the midst of you, a Mighty One, a Savior [Who saves]! He will rejoice over you with joy; He will rest [in silent satisfaction] and in His love He will be silent and make no mention [of past sins, or even recall them]; He will exult over you with singing." ~ dws (wop) #aseasonofjoy #yourNOWseason

30 days of Joy (Day 1) Day #1 Joy is An Attitude of Gratitude Breakfast Joy I Thessalonians 5:16 "Be happy [in your faith] and rejoice and be glad-hearted continually (always);" Lunch Joy I Thessalonians 5:17 "Be unceasing in prayer [praying perseveringly];" Dinner Joy One of the most incredible things to experience is joy... Happiness is one thing, but when you have joy, that is a whole different experience. You can't be happy when you are feeling sad but even in the midst of sorrow, you can still experience joy. Happiness is an emotion, something that is temporary, something that may not last...but joy...joy is an attitude of the heart, something that lasts a lifetime....something that can't be given to you by man, nor can man take it away....in joy, even in sadness, there is an attitude of gratitude...in joy, we can rejoice even in the midst of affliction...happiness comes as a result of something or someone but joy is something that we was given to us by God...something that we embody...it is who we are...and in that, in the midst of heartaches and pains...trials and tribulations...we still have joy. Dessert Joy I Thessalonians 5:18 "Thank [God] in everything [no matter what the circumstances may be, be thankful and give thanks], for this is the will of God for you [who are] in Christ Jesus [the Revealer and Mediator of that will]." ~ dws (wop) #aseasonofjoy #yourNOWseason

31 days of Promise (Day 31) Day #31 Promise of God ~ No More Suffering/No More Sorrow Breakfast Promise Revelation 21:4 "God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and death shall be no more, neither shall there be anguish (sorrow and mourning) nor grief nor pain any more, for the old conditions and the former order of things have passed away." Lunch Promise Revelation 21:5 "And He Who is seated on the throne said, See! I make all things new. Also He said, Record this, for these sayings are faithful (accurate, incorruptible, and trustworthy) and true (genuine)." Dinner Promise God has promised us, no more suffering, no more sorrow....He has promised us that He will wipe our tears, no more grief nor sorrow because the former things, the old things have passed away; He said death will be no more... I think that is what we all desire....pain and suffering no more..sorrow gone...the old things have passed away... For many of us, this is the thing we desired when we lose a loved one, this is what we want to hear when our hearts hurt, when troubles hit our home, all we want is the pain to be gone....we've all been there, we've all experienced it..... But when we are in Christ...even in the midst of pain, God will comfort us...in the middle of our sorrow, God will wipe our tears....in Him there is no death but there is eternal life....in Him, there is hope and healing.... In Him...get in Him, stay with Him... Trust Him...be in Him and allow Him to be in you!!! Dessert Promise Revelation 21:6 "And He [further] said to me, It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To the thirsty I [Myself] will give water without price from the fountain (springs) of the water of Life." ~ dws (wop) #aseasonofpromise #yourNOWseason

31 days of Promise (Day 30) Day #30 Promise of God ~ Will Not Be Taken Over By Temptation Breakfast Promise I Corinthians 10:13 "For no temptation (no trial regarded as enticing to sin), [no matter how it comes or where it leads] has overtaken you and laid hold on you that is not common to man [that is, no temptation or trial has come to you that is beyond human resistance and that is not adjusted and adapted and belonging to human experience, and such as man can bear]. But God is faithful [to His Word and to His compassionate nature], and He [can be trusted] not to let you be tempted and tried and assayed beyond your ability and strength of resistance and power to endure, but with the temptation He will [always] also provide the way out (the means of escape to a landing place), that you may be capable and strong and powerful to bear up under it patiently." Lunch Promise I Corinthians 10:14 "Therefore, my dearly beloved, shun (keep clear away from, avoid by flight if need be) any sort of idolatry (of loving or venerating anything more than God)." Dinner Promise There are so many things in life that will cause you to be tempted; people, places, things...all around us there is temptation. And then you are probably saying, "If temptation is all around us, then how is that we will not be overtaken by it?" God's' word says to us that there is no temptation that is beyond human resistance...we can no longer say "the devil made me do it" when we are tempted...we give him to much credit when we fall into temptation...we know the Word says we can resist temptation but so many times, we refuse to. Just because you are tempted to lie, tempted to cheat, tempted steal, tempted to kill, tempted to drink, tempted to enter into an adulterous relationship it does not mean you have to succumb to it...it means that there is no temptation beyond your human resistance BUT it is also time to yield to God.... And upon yielding it all to Him, He gives us a way out...that's good news...when we are tempted, just try and trust God to give you your plan of escape....no temptation will overtake you!! Dessert Promise I Corinthians 10:15 "I am speaking as to intelligent (sensible) men. T

31 days of Promise (Day 29) Day #29 Promise of God ~ Guidance Breakfast Promise Psalm 32:8 "I [the Lord] will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with My eye upon you. Lunch Promise Psalm 32:9 "Be not like the horse or the mule, which lack understanding, which must have their mouths held firm with bit and bridle, or else they will not come with you." Dinner Promise I don't know how many times I made a decision in my life WITHOUT consulting God first...so many times and so much heartache along the way because I CHOSE not to follow the guidance of God...just like me, so many of you have also not operated under the leading and guidance of the Lord..He promised to instruct us but so many of us chose not to follow! God gives us instruction so that we can live a life of obedience, a life operating in favor, a life full of His blessings but as disobedient children, we ignore the instructions and often find ourselves in a world of trouble... God promises us in His word to lead, guide and direct us, and as we follow His leading...goodness follows us. He promises to keep His eye upon us, always watching over us, keeping us, protecting us...He promises us that He is our Father and we are His children...a father leads, covers, protects and provides for His children....Our Father leads, covers, protects and provides for us....His children. Dessert Promise Psalm 32:10 "Many are the sorrows of the wicked, but he who trusts in, relies on, and confidently leans on the Lord shall be compassed about with mercy and with loving-kindness." ~ dws (wop) #aseasonofpromise #yourNOWseason

31 days of Promise (Day 27) Day #27 Promise of God ~ A New Creation Breakfast Promise 2 Corinthians 5:15 "And He died for all, so that all those who live might live no longer to and for themselves, but to and for Him Who died and was raised again for their sake. Lunch Promise 2 Corinthians 5:16 "Consequently, from now on we estimate and regard no one from a [purely] human point of view [in terms of natural standards of value]. [No] even though we once did estimate Christ from a human viewpoint and as a man, yet now [we have such knowledge of Him that] we know Him no longer [in terms of the flesh]." Dinner Promise I just had to giggle for a moment, I was thinking of the slang term, "They're acting brand new," when someone enters into a new relationship, come into some money, etc...people use that term BUT the truth of the matter, money, new relationships, new job, promotion on your job, items of a material nature...NONE of these things make you brand new...though you may act it...it really doesn't, it does not have the power to... The only newness comes from Jesus Christ...in Him we have been made brand new... When we submit to Him...desire Him, seek Him...ingrafted in Him, we obtain a newness...new life, new hope, new faith...renewed faith...a new creation...the old man, that old sinful man has gone away, the things of the past...that old moral and OLD spiritual condition has passed away...the new life given to us through the loving sacrifice of our Savior, Jesus the Christ has given us the new life that nothing else could remotely come close to... In Him you have been made new...BRAND NEW! Dessert Promise 2 Corinthians 5:17 "Therefore if any person is [ingrafted] in Christ (the Messiah) he is a new creation (a new creature altogether); the old [previous moral and spiritual condition] has passed away. Behold, the fresh and new has come!" ~ dws (wop) #aseasonofpromise #yourNOWseason

31 days of Promise (Day 25) Day #25 Promise of God ~ Righteousness of God Breakfast Promise 2 Corinthians 5:19 "It was God [personally present] in Christ, reconciling and restoring the world to favor with Himself, not counting up and holding against [men] their trespasses [but cancelling them], and committing to us the message of reconciliation (of the restoration to favor)." Lunch Promise 2 Corinthians 5:20 "So we are Christ’s ambassadors, God making His appeal as it were through us. We [as Christ’s personal representatives] beg you for His sake to lay hold of the divine favor [now offered you] and be reconciled to God." Dinner Promise As I look over 2 Corinthians 5, I particularly like verses 19-21, we have been reconciled to God...our sins, through the shed blood of Jesus the Christ, was cancelled out... I like to call it "sin cancellation" with the receipt of "forgiveness"...but only have we been reconciled, He made Christ to be our sin offering...He knew no sin but became sin for you and for me in order for us to become the righteousness of God....as the righteousness of God, we have been approved, we have been accepted, we have been established in right relationship with God! There is nothing or no one that can put us back in right relationship with God and allow us to become His righteousness but Jesus Christ and the blood that He shed for you and for me! We have looked at the sacrifice of Jesus and we still cry when we think about it and imagine it...the gruesome details, the pain and degradation that Jesus endured, we cry in sorrow because of His pain, but also cry with tears of joy because of His great sacrifice for us and the love He demonstrated towards us... Beloved, you are the righteousness of God. Dessert Promise 2 Corinthians 5:21 "For our sake He made Christ [virtually] to be sin Who knew no sin, so that in and through Him we might become [endued with, viewed as being in, and examples of] the righteousness of God [what we ought to be, approved and acceptable and in right relationship with Him, by His goodness]." ~ dws (wop) #aseasonofpromise #yourNOWseason

31 days of Promise (Day 24) Day #24 Promise of God ~ You Shall Do Greater Works Breakfast Promise John14:10-11 "Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in Me? What I am telling you I do not say on My own authority and of My own accord; but the Father Who lives continually in Me does the (His) works (His own miracles, deeds of power). Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father in Me; or else believe Me for the sake of the [very] works themselves. [If you cannot trust Me, at least let these works that I do in My Father’s name convince you.]" Lunch Promise John 14:12 "I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, if anyone steadfastly believes in Me, he will himself be able to do the things that I do; and he will do even greater things than these, because I go to the Father." Dinner Promise Jesus says in the Bible that we (you, me...US) SHALL do greater works because He has ascended to the Father...He tells us that not only will we do the things He has done BUT we shall do greater...soooo, what did He do??? He prayed, He healed, He delivered, He set free...He encouraged... He loved...He raised the dead... And He said that WE too shall do because we have believed in Him and He has ascended to the Father!! What hinders the greater??? Doubt, lack of faith...looking at the world through our natural eyes, allowing the enemy to tell us that we will not do better NOR greater... US!!! We hinder ourselves from the greater because we lacked the understanding of the greater and we are NOT willing to seek the one who said we shall do greater.... It's time to seek Him and to begin walking in the greater, time to walk in the authority and the power of God's Word... Today, I make a declaration over our lives....WE ARE WALKING IN THE GREATER....greater power, greater anointing, greater works....walk in it!! Dessert Promise John 14:13-14 "And I will do [I Myself will grant] whatever you ask in My Name [as presenting all that I Am], so that the Father may be glorified and extolled in (through) the Son. [Yes] I will grant [I Myself will do for you] whatever you shall ask in My Name [as presenting all that I Am]. ~ dws (wop) #aseasonofpromise #yourNO
