hi! i just played your game, so we was like a wolf, and i liked it! i'm not much of a gamer but it was interesting and i liked the twist (?) at the end!

i was wondering, is there like, idk, some kind of thing you were trying to say with it?? i found it interesting that it was set as the big bad wolf acting against the wishes of his wolf community, they didn't want him to eat the pigs but he did anyway - when the neighbour was talking about marshall being 'disgusting' for doing that i for sure thought he was talking about being depressed, not literally eating the pigs

idk i'm very curious if you have anything else to say about it! i had a fun time playing it and i love hearing explanations of art from the creators themselves so i'd love to hear whatever you have to say if you do!!

Thank you very much! I'm glad you took the time to play it even if you say you're not a gamer :) Took a little while to make, and my professor doesn't tend to give feedback so I really wanted to share it out n show it off hehe

I'm hesitant to say anything concrete. I'm a proponent of the idea that whatever the consumer THINKS a piece of media is about, that's what it's about. If the work is truly "about" something else, then the creator would have made it less ambiguous. This is just my sorta reigning theory about me n my work and how I consume stuff. Maybe a bunch of academics have papers at the ready which debunk my theory as terrible no-good way to consume media haha idk

I'll give a one-line sorta "moral of the story". The game warns about how a predator may be able to get away with morally reprehensible things just because of favorable social standings or insufficient legal repercussions. There's more to it, but as per my spiel above, if I didn't make it clear enough in the game, that's on me as a creator ^^; Sorry if my answer isn't really satisfying ToT I just want to encourage individual takeaways! Thank you very very much for your interest :) it does mean a lot to me n encourages me to make more stuff!

Question: Does the daily Mumbo ask mentioned still exists, and is it Mumbo Jumbo or a different Mumbo?

iiim havin a bit of a hard time understanding what you mean, but if i understand correctly,

the ask is referring to @dailymumbojumbo, a daily blog two other artists and I ran. we uploaded drawings of beloved hermit mumbo jumbo every day. it exists still, yes, but it's no longer updated. though it's still possible one of us will pick it up again some day
