This does not apply to non-heavy detail art, but if your art has enough detail to have the fur look like skin you should add detail to the fur.

Furry artists who draw their characters (or any furry character) with no fur and when I say ‘no fur’ I don’t mean sphinx cats, I mean just, the fur pattern is their skin, no tufts, nothing that tells the person looking at the art that those patterns and colours aren’t skin, sweat forms of the pattern and its smooth with a little shine on like, a thigh maybe, perhaps a boob, you see a squisher squishing the squishee and the fur patterns move like skin with no fur being raised due to the way that they’re being squished, i hate them. I’m sorry to say that’s not a furry, that’s not even an anthropomorphic animal character, that’s a fucking entity that steals characters and replicates their fur patterns on their skin and takes on their proportions and then kills them, artists who draw furries like this you’re not drawing a furry oc you’re drawing a goddam imposter, an entity made of falsehoods and sits in someone else’s spot which is now made of lies, an entity, if you don’t add any details that signal “this mother fucker who looks like some animal that has fur does in fact have fur” and draw them with fur pattern coloured skin then the only immediate course of action is to learn how to draw fur onto furries because they’re called furries for a reason: they haVE FUR.

Just had a thought: captain America, Steve rogers him self probably lived during a time when American railways were booming in wealth, popularity and importance, and after being frozen for nearly 70 years to learn that American railways are now less prevalent, railroads actively destroying rail infrastructure and the rails that connected America via passenger and freight are now reduced to one passenger rail line and lines are almost single tracked the entire length would send him into frenzy. He would be angry, he’d try to make America go back on the changes they did to the railways, try to make them build what they took down or at least build more rails. He’d learn that financially it’d be better to keep what they’ve done and he’d be filled with rage, Steve would have to actively calm himself down to look up why this had happened and upon learning that it was partially the government’s fault he would distrust the government and the people of America for what they’ve done to one of the cornerstones of the country. Eventually he’d get over it but he’d either be salty about it still or be sad about it.
