“Israel is committing genocide.” Yes. They are. But so is the US. The US is 100% complicit in this, and Israel would not have been able to do as much without the help of the US. I’m disgusted to be living in a country that is complicit in the literal MURDER of civilians. Men, women, children, elderly, families. All dead because of Israel AND the US. This needs to STOP.

Love the introduction to all the characters. I love Mary and Emma already! Anne scares me. I like what I've seen of the Henry. Dr Foster is definitely a damaged soul, but I'm curious to see more scenes between him and Mary. And i dislike doctor Hale.

Yeah I still don't really like doctor Hale. Could someone find Mary an actual bed! Silas Cullen gives me the creeps.  (Keeping my fingers crossed for a painful death for him!and if not here than in fanfics!) I actually love the relationship between Emma's parents. Emma and Henry met!! Anne still scares me, but I like her. I really dislike Emma's brother. Yes! Mary's got a bed...for like 3 seconds.

I like the matron. I'm strangely liking the relationship between Anne and Hale + I'm warming up to him.That definitely isn't a dentist (so glad I live in today's world) !!!Henry's rolled up sleeves!!! 😍😍 Emma and Mary are definitely braver than me. Dr Foster is in need of a solo vacation or a few talks with Henry. The looks between Mary and Dr Foster! And then Emma and Henry! Emma I dislike Frank, stick with Henry!

I'm finally continuing with my first time watching of Mercy Street.

Such a sweet moment between Mary and Dr Foster, but the man needs to learn there are better ways to end a conversation.

Anne is still as subtle as a musket ball.

Silas is truly a character whose always giving me the creeps.

Its interesting to see that even in her dreams Mary can't find refuge from the war and her duties.

Belinda is a far stronger person than me!

What is important is that I really can't understand why Emma likes Framk?

Damn that ending!! So happy for Aurelia! Jr is finally making a right choice as is Frank (although that's only because Emma was there) Mary and Dr Foster's moments are so precious!! Love how encouraging Henry is towards Emma!!

Love the characters!!!

Hope I'll see more Mary and Dr Foster + Emma and Henry moments in the next season.

I understand why they choose to focus on the Green family but it would have been interesting to see the pov from a family of the Union side.

My USA history is not my strength. I can honestly write that. But the show has made me become more curious to learn about it.

As far as costumes (my personal preference and knowledge is for a later period. So I will be grateful if someone else could tell me how period accurate the show is!) But I couldn't as a first time watcher see anything that was glaringly wrong.

Mercy Street is a perfect example of why public organizations like PBS need all the financial support we can give them. An excellent show ended after only two seasons in 2017 due to funding concerns.

May the universe grant me a winning lottery ticket so that I can personally petition PBS to bring this show back. I absolutely want to see Nurse Mary return and for everyone to see Samuel become a recognized surgeon.

I've put my first time watching Mercy Street to the side. I've accepted that I will continue when I'm less busy.

And yet I'm still being attacked by plot bunnies because of these two

2024 is truly the year of making yourself happy, not caring what others think (especially strangers on the internet) and creating and keeping things that make you happy.

The second protestor nods and continues, "were demolished, thousands of Palestinians, innocent men, women, and children were slaughtered, and seven-hundred and fifty thousand Palestinian refugees were created. That's when it started, and it hasn't stopped since!"

This genocide is the second instance in the last five years that really highlights that the permanent members of the security council should not have a voice if they are involved in an issue

Russia should not be able to veto resolutions on ukraine, America should not be able to veto resolutions on israel

Like Secretary General Guterres said in the meeting; “the eyes of the world and the eyes of history are upon us”

The American exceptionalism propaganda is failing and rotting, I will never forgive nor forget the country who didn’t listen to the world and it’s own people begging it to stop funding extermination, not in a million years
