ADMIN NOTE
Hello, everyone! This isn’t a post that I enjoy making, but I am sure everyone has noticed the recent lack of activity around here. I know that I am partly to blame for that. Being sick on top of some personal issues has kept me away for a few days, but I am here and I want to see our group thrive. Which is why I’m posting this Activity Check. Anyone who is still with us has 24 hours to either like this post or resume activity. You may also contact me on the main or on discord if you need a hiatus. Anyone who fails to do so will sadly be removed. Let’s try to get back into the swing of things, guys. I love this group and I’m not going anywhere.

RESIDES: Off campus.
MAJOR: Dance.
SEXUALITY: Doesn’t have a label.
SHIPS: Amelia/Chem.
ANTI-SHIPS: Amelia/Forced.
FC: Sarah Hyland.
POSITIVE TRAITS: Caring, realistic, self assured.
NEGATIVE TRAITS: Sarcastic, dramatic, bossy.
↳ BIOGRAPHY
Ameila was raised in a small beach town in Ohio, along with her twin sister. Obviously. They were raised by two men which at the time was almost unheard of.,yet somehow most people seemed unbothered. That she knee of anyway. From the day she was born Amelia was completely different than her sister he’ll she was very different from her father’s as well. Amelia was never god at things like school as she maintained a C average, but what she really excelled at was sports. She played sports all off her childhood with soccer and cheer being her favorite, not that she’d tell anyone that. Even though she was a cheerleader she swore it was just for college applications and that she was still very much “one of the guys” as she preferred to have guy friends which is possible without sleeping with them like some would say.
As soon as she reached puberty she became slightly more like her sister in the sense of being bossy and somewhat of a control freak. This however payed off as she was selected for the towns elite cheerteam, which was basicailly face and gymnastics more than anything else. It also made her caption of the soccer team her junior and senior year.In high school she was to put it lightly an asshole unless you were her friend robin one of her teams etc etc. Which kind of deterred boys away from her as the words “mean” and “high matinice” we’re thrown around regularly. Jokes on them though as always preferred women but had been interested in like two guys in her whole life.
When it became time to start thinking college she knew she couldn’t get into a traditional school even on a sports scholarship because as stated..C average at best. So then she started looking into dance schools and finally decided on NYADA knowing her sister would most likely want to go for theater or whatever. Once arriving to NYADA she was very thankful that her fathers were taking care of expensive because she learned real quick just how competitive it was. Not to say that she thought it wouldn’t be just not so…cut throat. It only pushed her harder however. She loves the city but really misses her hometown so heads home as often as she can.

POSITIVE TRAITS: Ambitious, Patient, Witty.

↳ BIOGRAPHY
{TW: MENTIONS OF DRUG USE}
Angie Lopez wasn’t an overachiever, she just felt like she had something to prove. Maybe it was the curse of being the “middle” child (by a whopping seven minutes) or maybe it was because she was the quieter, more reserved of her siblings, and always felt like she had to be nothing less than perfect in order to be heard. So she got straight - A’s - taking honors blocks when she could, dated the football player, was popular enough in the grand hierarchy of high school.
When she was 16, Angie had her first major identity crisis, but it didn’t matter because her siblings had their own dramas going on. Instead of trying to sort out her feelings or navigate the fact she thought she might be broken, Angie just didn’t. She just pushed down whatever she felt (or didn’t feel) for the next few years, continued dating Nick (who was really more of bro who she’d play video games and eat junk food with), and continued to ignore it once she broke things off and went away to college.
That’s when everything changed. Sure, she still had to claw her way through the horde of other first-year students in order to get some recognition, but that was just the culture. And people there actually cared about what she had to say. Angie liked living on campus because the buildings she had the most classes in were nearby, and it provided a bit of comfort when she stayed in practice rooms or the library until 2am and she was forced to leave. That, and the idea of cramming in front of a bathroom mirror, annoying alarms from someone burning their food or having a weird-ass sleeping schedule, and the fact that you could feel crowded when things that weren’t yours bled into your space, made her feel at home.
Maybe it was because her brain was powered by 24-hour energy drinks or because she had found herself in a rhythm and away from the pressures of fitting into a perfect box like she did back home, that three months into the school year, Angie initiated a (pg-13) makeout session with a girl from one of her classes. It was… nice enough, and thankfully things never got weird between the two of them, and even though it was a one-time thing, it was enough for Angie to realize that she might like girls (just not this one like that).
When she was accepted into NYADA for business, her parents didn’t ask any further questions and were willing to just throw their money at her as long as she kept her grades up and had something to show for it once she graduated. She didn’t tell them that it was a music business degree, nor did she tell them when she added in composition and music theory courses, or about that time she got super high and somehow managed to write the score to some regional commercial for a product for bacterial infections. (In retrospect, the latter wasn’t something she was actually proud of, nor was the fact that she may have also been under the influence when she signed the contract for it because she was paid in a however-many year supply of the toxins she helped sell.) Angie loved making music. She could play anything on the piano by ear - give her a few listens and she could do it on the guitar too. Sometimes she wrote lyrics, but she wasn’t much of a singer (not that she couldn’t, she just lived in a place where everyone was talented and couldn’t help but feel a little intimidated). Her parents knew nothing about any of that though. It’s not like they asked anyway.
One last grand showcase is all she needs to graduate. It’s what she’s been working towards her entire time here. Angie has one last chance to sell herself, to show that she’s worthy. This is the year she’ll prove she’s more than just the backup to everyone else’s greatest hits.

ADMIN NOTE
I want to apologize for disappearing after our first round of acceptance. I have been getting a lot of anon hate in the last 24 hours, so I think I needed a moment to step back. I want everyone to know that I have taken my decision to allow Naya in this group very seriously. It’s not something I took lightly at all. The thing is, I want her in this group. I want to remember her as the one who brought me Santana Lopez. Using another face feels absolutely wrong to me. If that means some people won’t join, then that is okay. I understand and respect your decisions. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. No one is wrong for feeling the way that they do. However, I will not be banning Naya from here. Anyone who wishes to use her is free to do so.
As for our current members, I am so excited to officially get started! Again, I do apologize for disappearing like that. You are now free to start posting/interacting with each other. Have fun!

Naya is fucking dead you stupid piece of shit you are being so fucking disrespectful
I can’t believe that my inbox is actually flooded with messages calling me disgusting and so much more that I would rather not repeat. My decision to allow Naya into my group was not an easy one. She meant so much to me and others. The idea of using Naya is the same as when people continued using Cory after he passed. It’s a way of honoring the characters they brought to life. I mean absolutely no disrespect using her. In my personal opinion, using someone else for Santana would be wrong. It was Naya who made her the character that she was. Not even Glee deserves the credit for that, because it was all her. Her incredible talent and ability to give people a character who changed their lives. Mine included.
Now, if anyone wants to talk to me off anon, I would be happy to do so. I am not a mean and horrible person. I would happily listen to anyone who would like to voice their concerns. What I don’t appreciate is someone calling me a piece of shit and demanding I remove someone from my group. I will be turning off the anon feature now. Thanks for putting a damper on what was supposed to be our opening day.
