I found a little color to the southeast this morning.

The field to the left has been tilled and planted. It looks like the field on the right has been sprayed to kill the ground cover and will be tilled in a few days. All of this serenity will be short lived though and here is why.

This is looking southwest at a violent storm system moving into Michigan. It is due to come here in about an hour and stretches all the way to Texas 😮

From the local park, shot with my new camera. We have a family of Canada geese swimming in the pond. It was very windy here and there were only two other geese there.

That’s okay, we got all summer for some up close shots, like last year.

Happy Saturday my friends

This is what we got in Michigan for our morning weather, rain and more rain. That’s okay, we needed a little water on everything.

I’m taking it easy today because I busted my butt yesterday. Still tired but I wanted to get in a little gym time. We’ll see how it goes.

Tromping in the woods

Went for a walk in the woods this afternoon looking to see what kind of spring activity I could find.

Some color is starting to pop out in places, and other things are off to a slow start.

We got a couple days of rain coming after a nice day of sunshine. That should help coax things along. It has been rather cold here yet.

Looks like paradise to bees and butterflies this time of year.

I bet you never saw so many dandelions in one place before.

I’m glad that’s not my yard. The corner is an unused space next to a solar energy plot.

First Peek -

Good Morning everyone 😀

Here is your first peek at the sun, and we are going to have a lot of it today. That’s better than the solid grey skies we had all day yesterday.

Yes, I did get to the gym yesterday. It would be kinda hard to prove it being as I left my iPhone out in the car. 😕

More yard cleanup to do before the Saturday rain gets here.

Happy Hump Day y’all

It’s about ten minutes before sunrise. Kind of hard to tell but I thought these layered clouds are kind of interesting.

There was a large storm that passed through here last evening. There was a blast of thunder that was so forceful that it shook houses for miles around. I had to get up and check outside to see what the hell happened.

Looks like a gym day today, too crummy outside for yard work today.

Happy Tuesday

There was only heavy clouds this morning, so no sunshine pictures at dawn today. Later on things cleared and I was out and about. I saw this one while out shopping and it is usually the first one to show off at this wood lot corner.

It’s getting real windy now. I wish it would calm down so I could be outside and not freeze.

Happy Earth Day

I can’t think of a better day to go out and do some vegetable garden preparation.

Here comes Monday-

The beginning of a new week here is off to a cold start. The temperature is right at freezing 🥶

I got the grass cut yesterday but it was cold and windy then too. I had to put on some winter gear to get it done.

We are getting close to the time when I will be planting the vegetable garden. If the sun stays out, I will be out there cleaning that up.

We have another volunteer-

Found another daffodil growing on its own way out in the corner of the farm field behind me.

Here it is, or was 😩. I took this yesterday afternoon and now it’s gone. Annnd -

Here is who did it. Oh well, maybe it will come up again next year. They got the whole field tilled.
