The African tulip tree (Spathodea campanulata) is such a beautiful species, unfortunately it is also an environmental weed in tropical and subtropical parts of Australia. The flower is known to be toxic to a range of native insects.
Argostemma spp. are very eye-catching small plants in Sumatra's high-altitude montane cloud forests. They are either epiphytic or terrestrial and obviously love the conditions of being heavily shaded with permanent high humidity and cool temperatures.
Crinkle bush/Parsley fern (Lomatia silaifolia) is a shrub native to eastern Australia in the family of Proteaceae. It usually grows in open forests and grows up to 2 meters. Attractive white flowers appear primarily in summer, with winged seeds released from fruits in Autumn.

Lepidozamia peroffskyana is a palm-like cycad endemic to SE QLD and NE NSW. Bushfire does not kill this specises, instead, it stimulates its growth. Only 12 weeks after the bushfire, it has slready fully recovered.
Formosa lily or Taiwanese lily (Lilium formosanum) is endemic to Taiwan originally. But has naturalised in Australia and become a weed. A pretty weed though.
Nepenthes inermis/无刺猪笼草 is a pitcher plant endemic to the mountains of West Sumatra and Jambi (1500-2600m). The structure of the pitcher is unique in that it completely lacks a peristome (lip), and the lid is long and narrow. Plus, it produces incredibly thick mucilaginous pitcher liquid compared to other pitcher plants.
