if I were crow I would lie about shit all the time just to fuck with people, like in-universe he knows this works because people think he’s insane, but he doesn’t do it as often as he could. i would tell lennox they’ve been giving me nothing to eat but raw meat and water since I was 15 as that is the true way wolves were meant to live and the equipoise’s strength has kept me from getting scurvy all these years. however he doesn’t do that because about 5 minutes into knowing lennox his character motivation switched to doing whatever he says

Future: What's the worst possible future for your OC? Are they taking steps to avoid that outcome? Are they even aware it's a possibility?

I think it would be her being alone. And in particular her father dying. She’s very close with him and aware that he’s getting older and dealing with more health problems. Kaleela’s definitely aware of it but doesn’t like to think too much about it. The main reason she gets involved with the plot is because she sees it as a way to connect with someone and make a new friend (obviously not knowing what will happen later ARGH)

Hide: What does your OC hide? Why do they hide it?

I think Kaleela tries to hide how sad she is. This is so miserable.. She always has a cheery, positive outlook but being real she is harbouring a LOT of grief from her mother’s death still. And ofc the looming threat of her father passing is something she knows she can’t hide from

Baize

Alone: How does your OC deal with loneliness? Have they ever been completely alone before? How do they act when there's no one around to see them?

This is really interesting, because real werewolfstoryheads know that the entire story revolves around loneliness as one of the central themes. Every character in the story has a close relationship with loneliness. I’d argue that Baize deals with loneliness by simply not dealing with it at all. The whole story happens because she refuses to face her loneliness. She loses her entire family and her first response is to immediately start plotting her way to get revenge in the most convoluted, illogical way possible as a distraction from her thoughts and true feelings. I think in the rare moments where she is alone, Baize is plagued with overwhelming grief and anger. Underneath a lot of her arrogance, she is deeply, deeply sad. Many such cases

Skin: How comfortable is your OC in their skin? Do they grapple with anything that lives inside them—a beast, a curse, a failure, a monster? How do they face the smallest, weakest, most horrible version of themself? Are they able to acknowledge it at all?

Baize has no self awareness. Well. She does but she ignores it. In reality, I think she blames herself fully for what Aidan did but that idea is completely horrifying so she leans hard into blaming him to be able to cope with anything day to day and focus on something she’s convinced herself will help

Hollyhock

Desire: What's one thing your OC wants more than anything in the world? Are they open with that desire? Why or why not? What would they do to fulfill it?

Power lol. Errr I don’t think she’s Open about it necessarily but if someone’s been around her for a short while, they’ll be able to tell. She wouldn’t want to ruin her chances of a promotion by talking too loudly about how much she wants one. She wouldn’t want to make it seem like she knows better than Sanctum management or Dashwood himself. She’ll just keep working hard, going over and above her duties, burning out. And when isnt rewarded, she’ll just get more and more resentful and take it out on the people she already has power over

Anyway I'm not gonna touch that internalized lycanphobia with a ten foot pole. Being turned by your partner is something that can be incredibly intimate as long as both parties are consenting and the one being turned is 100% sure they want it. Literally the only downside to transforming once a month is the pain, but midol works just fine. No one with these "lycanthropy bad" takes ever wants to discuss the legitimate positives that come with this "curse" lmao.

lmao my wife literally saved my life when she turned me but i guess she should be muzzled huh? we run through the woods hunting deer together and can each haul in groceries in one trip now, but nooo she's obviously a danger to society because she cares enough about me to help me when insurance wouldn't cover my medicine
