Been reading a lot of Star Wars Fanfics lately so I decided to do a piece of on characters I really love drawing. If you so my old works you'd know it's Ahsoka. I tried my best on capturing the likeness of Rosario Dawson while making Ahsoka look young. I'm still 50/50 on the results but here it is anyway

Pre-Colonial Tagalog Nobleman Early 15th Century Philippines.

I read a bit about Jean-Paul Potet's book regarding Filipino fashion and it opened my eyes on the major differences Tagalog Men wore compared to the usual depiction of Precolonial Fashion that mostly borrows from Visayan depictions.

Particularly how Tagalog often wore their hair short and sometimes still utilize the Bahag. And used feather plumes as ornaments to their putongs. Hence, I decided to draw how I imagined them in my bead based on the description.

Just so you know I'm still learning how to incorporate backgrounds so if the background seems a bit off-puting I'm still learning the basics.

Hello, I am Mohammed Alanqer, married to Enas Majed, and we have four wonderful children.

We live in the midst of the ongoing hellish war in Gaza, trapped between walls of fear and despair. I, Mohammed, am a father of four children and a husband to a woman who was two months pregnant when the war began.

We struggle daily to survive in an environment filled with threats and dangers.

I lost our sole source of livelihood when my tech startup, which I built with dedication and hard work, was destroyed in the war. My children, Layan, Sarah, and Adam, have been deprived of education after their schools were destroyed, severely threatening their future. Amidst these harsh circumstances, my wife gave birth to our fourth child, Amir, in the midst of the war, adding to our state of despair and hopelessness.

My wife, Enas, lives in constant anxiety due to the destruction of hospitals in our area. I have lost my job and source of income, leaving me unable to provide for my family's needs and safety. Our home was destroyed by the war, forcing us to flee repeatedly and rendering us homeless.

We now face extreme difficulty in providing a safe place to live, clean clothes, and food for our children. Additionally, our children have contracted diseases like measles, and our son Adam has been diagnosed with viral hepatitis.

Our only hope now is to escape this ongoing nightmare and find a safe haven for our family. However, this requires exorbitant financial costs; the coordination fees for crossing the borders amount to $5000 per adult and $2500 per child, a sum I cannot afford alone.

We urgently appeal for your moral and financial assistance to cover the necessary costs for escaping to a safe environment, where we can build a better future for our children and ensure our family's safety.

We are in desperate need of your support. Any donation, no matter how small, can help save our lives. Thank you for your attention and support during these harsh times.

While working on another piece I tried to do a quick doodle of 1790s Filipina Traje de Mestiza. References were taken from Juan Ravenet's drawings during his Malaspina Expedition.

Interpreting the drawings of Juan Ravenet from the late 1780s to early 1790s during the Malaspina expedition. Resources are so few regarding what Filipinos wore during the 18th century so if you have any good sources like books, illustrations, museum pictures regarding this era please send it my way.

Katniss Everdeen based on how I pictured her in the books. I really tried to give the olive skin she was mentioned to have but Google didn't really provided enough material because all that popped wasn't really olive but instead were either a tan or brown skin. So I was left with a much paler outcome compared to what I originally intended leaving me with an olive undertone instead. I also tried to make her look malnourished but I don't think I really achieved that. The same way with her eyes which I really pictured to be more darker but it always ended up being too blue or black. Anyway I might redo this piece again with no more dark lineart depending on my schedule.

Anyway if you have anymore suggestions feel free too dm me. Especially about giving me more accurate references for olive skin and dark gray eyes. For future references.

Also to my old followers, hey guys been like 2 years now since I last posted. University has just really been taking a lot of my time and I was a bit insecure about how fast and good my artworks have been since beginning of the Pandemic. But right now I'm trying to get out of my Artblock so rest assured I'll try to post much more frequently now.

Here's a bunch of pen doodles I did for a dark ages fantasy I'm working on. All of them are a bit wonky hahahaa since I didn't use pencil to sketch the shapes and went straight to using a pen. So yeah 😂. But other than that does anyone know a site or a link where I could get historically accurate attire of the people from the 6th or 9th century AD in Europe.
