Having your picture taken unexpectedly is not always fun. I was really wishing I could finish the show I was watching! Also, people keep asking me if I perm my hair. The answer is no! My hair is naturally curly and if you see it straight... it's because I put a crap ton of pomade in it.

There is no other jazz masterpiece that touches my heart and soul like this one. For the last 20 years I have listened to this over and over. Every time I hear this, it is as if it is the first time I have ever heard it! When I was 13 or 14, I asked my parents for tickets to the symphony. My life was never the same again. From that point on classical music, the symphony and jazz music took a hold of my life and I became interested in Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Chopin, Mozart & Louis Armstrong. Today, the world has lost a good man and a slapstick legend. He and Dean will have a good time in heaven! There were many days where I would sit and watch with @beauhollis, The great, Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis act in some of the dumbest yet funniest movies I have ever seen! Many children and sufferers of #MDA will sorely miss you.

I'm not always comfortable placing images of myself on any social media. Insecurity has been a struggle of mine for several years, along with pride, social anxiety and having judgment placed at the front door of my life. I'm blessed enough to have several people around to encourage me and point out the crap that hinders accomplishment in my life. I have learned so much about fear over the years. Fear is not your friend. Fear isn't even real! But like most people, I struggle with fear. Fear has crippled me at times to the point of exhaustion and a delusional state of perception. I stare off like this while I'm deep in thoughtful contemplations. Trying to figure out what happened to those individuals that along the way, lost themselves, threw others under a bus, chose the life they didn't want, remained trapped and still have a sense of ownership that doesn't even really exist. Ownership is but a futile thought of deception. I thought I had ownership once too.
