Introduction!
Hello everybody!
I am going to fill out this blog with information about public transit on the west side of Los Angeles, including info on how to ride, where all the lines go, and how to get pretty much anywhere without a map.
This blog will be a little centered around Santa Monica, as I am based out of that area. Primarily, I intend to talk about the LA Metro bus system, the Santa Monica Big Blue Bus, and the Culver City Bus, as well as a small bit about the Metro Light Rail lines (the train) of which there are not many on the west side. There are expansion projects for some light rail lines which I will also briefly discuss and update once this blog is filled out.
I made this blog because a lot of my friends struggle with getting where they need to go, ending up confused, missing stops, or going the wrong direction. I want to try discussing various tips I use for making sure I'm getting on the right bus in the right direction, and getting off at the right locations, peppered in among other posts. I'll also leave asks on and try to get around to any questions asked there if I can add anything of value.
