The photo that Harry took ended up being slightly out of focus, but he decided that it was his favourite one yet. There wasn’t much of the camper visible in the shot, the two of them taking up most of the frame. Harry’s hair was an absolute wreck, flopping over his forehead and sticking out at the sides. His glasses were slightly crooked, tilting to the right as Draco pressed their cheeks together, grinning up at the camera. Harry ran his finger over Draco’s face, the picture still warm and slightly sticky as it developed. He barely recognised himself in the photo, his smile wide and his eyes bright. It was how he had looked years ago, before everything had gone to shit, when he still had some hope left in him. That hope had returned now; Harry had proof of it.

recently i have read the brightest constellations of our souls by @thecouchsofa and what a beautiful story it was!! i couldn't help drawing a little something for it :) please go read it, it's an amazing story about healing & finding your place in the world, ROADTRIPPING and also u will never be able to listen to wonderwall by oasis without getting overtly emotional. i know i wont

Sometimes I think how funny it is to think how notoriously affectionate Harry could be when he likes someone and how easy it is for Draco to not be able to resist spoiling his crush (as well as how spoiled he becomes).

“Kiss for the new year..” Draco repeated, confused. “What’s that mean exactly? People wouldn’t shut up about it.”

“It’s a muggle thing.” Harry explained, “People say if you don’t kiss someone on midnight on new year’s eve, your year will be a lonely one or something like that.”

Harry looked up when he felt a hand brush his cheek. Draco was cupping his face gently, looking at him fondly. His grey eyes shining with new light.

“Malfoy,” his heart was racing, ”What’re you-”

“I don’t want you to be alone."

The sound of fireworks erupting was loud enough to wake the whole castle. They filled the dark sky will splatters of different color, dazzling lights, and beautiful designs of swirling dragons that roared. Spells were cast to add to the chaos. Students were cheering, and screaming to their heart’s content, welcoming the new year with open arms.

Harry didn’t see any of it though, his eyes were closed as his lips were too preoccupied with Draco’s. Draco was holding him firmly in place with his hand on the back of his neck, pressing his lips against his over and over again. They broke the kiss to catch their breath, both of their faces flushed. Harry felt his heart flutter when Draco smiled at him, a genuine smile.

These are some things I did this week: a lil coffee animation exercise, gremlin husbands doodle, omegaverse smut (heavily cropped, sorry lol full art in my smut thing on Ao3) and a wip sketch for drarry minibang, cropped on Luna’s face because she’s so cute and I love her ❤️❤️
