I wrote my first fanfic in 2005. I was 14, and it was a Naruto fanfic. Under my first pen name, IlluminatedShadow.

My last/most recent (if I want to be optimistic) was in 2021. It was for Haikyuu. New pen name.

I’ve written under 4 pen names, for at least 4-ish fandoms. All of the usernames are pretentious. I’ve also written anonymously.

It hit me today that I’ve spent a lot of my time writing, that I’m probably coming up on some milestone. I can’t track how much I’ve written (I wrote anonymously for the Hetalia kink meme), unfortunately.

A lot of good came from that writing, and I think it did make me a better writer for work.

Time is wild.
