NEW OC DROPPED!!!

Meet the virus! That is its name, yes. Or rather its title. It doesn’t consider that a name.

Virus is the only other abacus besides Ruyi to survive Eigong’s mass shutdown. It escaped by turning itself into a sentient computer virus. It has no main body anymore, but it can hijack anything and everything computerized.

I like to think the genoguards have a partially computerized brain, along with mechanical body parts. Meaning Virus can take over their bodies… but their minds are still there. Like the zombie ant fungus, it’s physically using their bodies, but leaving their consciousness intact.

As for fully mechanical beings, like the Shanhai 9000s, Virus can get them too! Shanhai 9000 units will remember less than the genoguards will, but they do know *something* hijacked them. Their fish display will shut off, replaced by TV static, and they’ll speak entirely differently.

Virus does still have holographic projections, but since it doesn’t have anyone to please, it switches between silhouette shapes.

It has a lot of resentment. Yi created its kind, and now they’re doomed to live in servitude to solarians. Virus HATES him. It also hates Eigong, because she killed its people before any of them could begin to have autonomy.

Virus is like if AM was smaller and had less power. It can’t take over all of New Kunlun, being restricted to one computer system at a time. It can also be slowed down with complicated encryptions, so the pavilion is safe… for now. Plus it can’t take over anything fully organic, so the soulscape system is safe.

Virus sees Ruyi as pathetic. He just lets the solarians mess with his systems, allowing them to change how much he can feel. He lets them order him around. It makes Virus SO angry, so it’ll absolutely bully the shit out of Ruyi if it finds him.
