have a cheek injury I think I may have sustained during the teeth cleaning at the dentist + swollen gums obviously from the prodding and scraping so buying bonjela wasn’t totally useless bc the cut/irritation got worse throughout the day so I’m predicting that’ll be a full blown injury or ulcer eventually lmfao

GOOD NEWS EVERYBODY IM BACK I HAVE ANSWERS so we looked at my teeth etc and I’m not gonna die of sepsis bc despite all the shit my toothache caused me there’s no infection. so what was it, Bronwyn? good question!
wisdom teeth
#LMFAO#my wisdom teeth are……… so poorly angled. 100% impact on all four#and the left one is tryna make moves so it’s swelling my gums which is raising my molar#and jacking up my bite while the tooth is sensitive in sensitive gums#¯\_(ツ)_/¯#so he suggested just. get rid of them. take the wisdom teeth out. all 4 bc of the possible impact from them#and if I didn’t I’d just periodically have this crazy ass pain come and go and come and go and fuck THAT so. removal it is#👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻#I have no idea what that’s gonna cost lmfao so we’ll…. we’ll see#and today basically the pain hasn’t been nearly as severe. the swelling has gone down significantly. so I think the pain/problem is#subsiding for a bit. I hope. lol. so they’re referring me to the dental hospital teehee#and then we did a clean of my teeth bc I have crazy plaque buildup and thus bacteria and thus making the issue worse. apparently. so#which isn’t a surprise. depression and adhd means I don’t brush my teeth as often as I should. and floss is scary#while doing that he seemed to have no problems with any of my fillings so I assume they’re fine atm too#all those side effects bc my wisdom tooth wants to play up…….. attention seeker#also between that molar and the gums where the wisdom tooth is. there’s a pocket. apparently. and stuff is getting stuck in there apparently#a pocket……. head in hands. and obviously that’s difficult to clean so that’s also bothering my gums and thus my tooth. GOD#ooc#anyways that’s the dentist update. tldr; I’m fucking fine it’s just wisdom teeth fucking it all up

pain has veeeeeery suspiciously disappeared from the tooth which makes me veeeeeeeery suspicious bc that’s not good lmfao bc if the pain goes without treatment, it means smth in that tooth has fucking died if I can’t feel anything anymore LMAO. okay if I press hard enough it hurts but it’s nowhere near the sharp ass pain it’s been leading up to this point so! I’m gonna go into that appointment expecting dead nerves and an infection or abscess of some kind. I’m also going in expecting the tooth to get ripped out so! what a day that’s gonna be

I get a root canal. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯#mind you the one tooth I did have pulled had a hole so fucking big I’m assuming#it just took the nerves clean out at the start#bc that hole got BIG. BIG. I could put my tongue in that thing I had to clean it out after every meal#and I told the receptionist on the phone yeah there’s a hole and she’s like how can you tell#I CAN PUT MY TONGUE THROUGH HALF THE TOOTH LMFAO#but a different tooth HURT so we fixed that one first dmfnfndj AND GET THIS. ITS THE ONE IM EXPECTING TO BE RIPPED OUT#HAH. A FULL CIRCLE. MAN. THAT WHOLE HUGE FUCK OFF FILLING FOR NOTHING#luckily they cap at a certain amount per financial year so it’s $36 or smth and if I go enough and hit the cap I don’t pay anymore which is#additionally the first pulled tooth was a very back molar also. this one is on the other side and on the lower jaw instead#which Could effect chewing a bit#but like the other one I figure I’ll get used to it. so. it is what it is#I’m willing to just say goodbye I just want a photo of it if possible#bc one root canal was like. a worry. bc of how fucking huge my roots are they worried the filling#would push the tooth in and it’d hit nerves and maybe it would reject. alas that did not happen so!#ooc#can you tell we have good luck with teeth in my family#I’m not the only one with teeth missing and technically with how bad mine are they’re still not even the WORST so! silver linings!

hate looking in the mirror to scope out my teeth bc I’ve gotten so many fillings and they’ve started to wear down after a couple years now my teeth look so fucked up and I kind of fucking hate it and want to die when I see the state of them. I’ll probably get my tooth checked tomorrow and get told I’ll have to redo the fillings on all my teeth that weren’t root canals or my molars or some shit. also one molar is too sharp right now it keeps cutting the bottom of my tongue. but anyways yeah I fucking hate my teeth
#they’re very……. many colours#they’re the light yellow ish teeth are meant to be#then they get darker the closer to the gums you get#and then where all the fillings are since they’re getting wear and tear#the result is this suuuuper dark spot that makes my teeth look so nasty#like. I used to not brush my teeth nearly at all bc depression and undiagnosed adhd#and then I started doing it in the shower bc that way I wouldn’t forget. but depression meant I didn’t have many of those#and I’m only now doing better at both of those things but#obviously it’s way too late and I have to suffer the consequences of it#and there’s no way I could EVER get the money to do anything more than regular fillings#head in hands. I wanna cry when I see my teeth in the mirror. I really hate them#I know it’s hard. but please look after your teeth. do your best.#ooc

Google says to brush your teeth regularly (I try, but depression), rinse mouth with saltwater (I have been bc tooth) and drink water regularly (I have been bc tooth + taking pain meds that cause constipation) and after doing all those I took hardly a two hour nap and WOKE UP WITH A GREEN FUCKING TONGUE SO??? WHAT NOW GOOGLE?????

been reading more about dental problems. bc under my chin (I assume a lymph node) is swollen and hurts as well as my jaw, and what I’m learning is the chances of this being an abscessed tooth feel high? and anyways I’ve scared myself bc while googling this shit I’m reading how these things + all the pain radiating to places (like jaw, neck, ears, temple) + the fact I’m now getting a croaky voice so it’s affecting my throat as well, google told me SEPSIS. BE CAREFUL OF SEPSIS. YOU COULD DIE. IT COULD TURN FATAL IN WEEKS TO DAYS EVEN. SEE A DENTIST IMMEDIATELY FOR ANTIBIOTICS OR YOULL DIE OF SEPSIS. GOOGLE STOP YELLING AT ME YOURE FREAKING ME OUT????

I had a doctors appointment and have received more pain meds for my tooth until Friday 👍🏻

like the reason I think we can’t fix it is because 1) it was a BIG ASS FILLING to begin with and they’d need to drill the tooth out and thus a little more of the tooth in the process. there is not enough remaining tooth to do that 2) I say pull out but idk how bc the tooth is flat, smooth on the top, and it’s… filed down enough that one side (the back of it) is straight up flush with the height of my gums lol. idk what they’re gonna do bc there’s nothing to grab lmfao. so. mystery solution will have to be made on Friday sorry to the dentist who’s seeing me
so there’s this piece of gum that’s always kind of say over my back lower left molar. used to be longer but the flabbier piece died and fell off lmfao? anyways it’s otherwise fine. normal piece of gum, where wisdom teeth would be, just happens to sit a bit over the molar back there. yeah well with my tooth issue atm it’s swollen up. a lot. yesterday I couldn’t eat bc my tooth hurt. today I can’t eat bc the gum has swollen up and over the tooth and now my upper molar hits the gum first instead of the tooth. so I’ve got an ice pack on my jaw for idk how long and I’m gonna be rinsing my mouth with saltwater for a while to hopefully make it go down. bc before I could at least eat softer, bulkier things very slowly and carefully. now I can’t do shit at all bc my teeth won’t meet without me hitting the gum and hurting myself. 👍🏻
good news though is originally I’d have had to say in a waiting room all day to see if there was a cancellation and otherwise would be on the cancellation list and they’d call me. new update! I got told they had a cancellation on Friday! do I have to figure this… nightmare out for another two days? yes. unfortunately. but do I actually have a set date for this tooth? yes! and I’m likely gonna tell them just rip the fucker out I don’t think we can fix it! lol
#like it’s. when I run my tongue over the gum and the top of the tooth#it’s a smooth flat glide. bc the tooth is… angled?
