Folks need to understand that barring some kind of exit deal barring Scooter from being the first to comment (unlikely), the order of the headlines is the most telling.

It didn’t lead with a splashy, moneyed International Man of Mystery is a Big Boy a Boss article. Scooter and the machine behind him are competent enough to set up this narrative months or weeks in advance.

The initial no reply, no comment, hedged comments, to confirming people are quite literally not talking to or creating art with Scooter says this likely went public quickly and people want to distance their brands AND their money from him.

It’s giving financial entanglements, bad business ethics, and the asshole bully chickens coming home to roost all at the same time.

If Taylor Easter-egged this, we can see she flagged ethical and artistic concerns around the practice of Private Equities being able to buy art in the way that Ithaca Holdings did: with money from “the Soros family, 23 Capital, The Carlyle Group.” These PEs are among the biggest and baddest billion-makers in the world and are pouring hundreds of billions of dollars into the tech-AI-defense (as in government military weapons and international arms deals) Bermuda Triangle of ethics.

And what family name is tied over and over again to all this?

I’m no expert, but the Kushner bailout from Carlyle for their real estate debt and the comingling of Kushner family assets and funds in trusts also tied to Josh’s Thrive Capital investment firm which has a reputation for being one of the best investors in tech… all of which ties to government and tech wanting to harness AI’s capabilities…

And on the record deals of Scooter investing with Josh repeatedly, from public deal listings to pop culture references to a zoom meeting with Diplo and the owners of Ableton (music production software)…

She last set her sights on artists’ rights and pay for streaming.

I think to take on Private Equity investors/buyers in the name of artists’ rights is a worthy cause few other people could even imagine taking on. If this brought to light that dirty money, war money, corrupt money is being used to own art at the expense of artists… will the world care? How do you hurt people and firms with this much wealth? How do you make this stick?

I dunno man, this reeks of more money more problems and Scooter seems to have bought himself more than he bargained for. It reeks of long-term efforts to follow the money.

I strongly disagree.

Rolling Stone has had the scoop on Taylor and her coming out plans for years. They may still have an exclusive arrangement in place after she bailed on the big Lover Era profile that, like Miss Americana, reads like a cat with all its teeth were pulled during what was thought to be a routine visit to the vet. See: RollingStone’ social media for the past year but especially since Eras was announced.

Major, reputable outlets are NOT going to run afoul of Taylor’s media plans. Her team is too good, her NDAs are too tight, her plan is too masterminded for someone to burn down a potential once-in-a-generation moment to win the clickbait war. People are rooting for her. No one has tried to use their platform to out her (see: Rebel Wilson). Instead, we get well-times headlines that bubble up at key moments in a variety of places, which tells you this rollout is extensive and flexible.

RollingStone did not put Diana on blast without warning. Either this is one of if not THE first time Diana’s people have not put Taylor on the Do Not Ask List (a real thing publicists do all the time) and they went for it (so sanctioned and planned by media people) or Taylor’s team and Diana’s team are aligned on timing when their names start to appear in the press together (and this is a win for Diana who clearly is trying to get some commotion for this next chapter of her career with some BIG new projects she wants to see succeed).

I would say that the hunch these things happening at the same time isn’t accidental is a good one, though. By going over the top with pandering Matty and Taylor to the press and fans they have invited folks to peek behind the curtain…just as more rumors of Taylor’s secret relationships with women go more mainstream…and she begins calling back to her life and work in 2013-2014 through music, muses, moments (kissgate), clothing clues and more.

If Matty and Diana are up for helping unravel some of the threads, Taylor could have a controlled environment to reveal how she has handled her public/private relationships…especially if Calvin Harris is up for letting the world know he did it for Professional Reasons (according to old tweets, he wants people to know lol) and truly if Joe also ends up helping to unravel that timeline. Then Karlie either need not comment (remember, 2019 Tree did all the work in major headlines tying Karlie to Taylor’s love songs) which is good because…NDAs… (and if you think Taylor and Karlie either might be together or might be on/off …the door is open to go with “star-crossed lovers // gotta get her back” storyline (which Taylor’s PR, art since Reputation, and her clues all allow thanks to years of mastermind work).

This feels like a very basic lack of media training to use the word “baseless” for a journalist publishing in RollingStone. It feels like lack of editorial oversight for their team not to check how people report on queer community signaling and the language used around it for the media persona driving …what…60% of their social media content engagement strategies these days?

If the point was to get people keyboard smashing their responses to this position … it could have been done better.

This just feels like people being bad at their jobs tbh.

Listen, deuxmoi wanted to become the next iteration of gossip rags and PR games—it’s just on the current platforms. Still people placing stories but now its “sightings” and “candid snaps” with a heady mix of anonymous leaks.

She recently had Backgrid—THEE BACKGRID— on her podcast to say no, really, people don’t just call us for staged photos! They are pap snaps!

…and she threw her lot in with the version they were pedaling. It’s an ecosystem that sustains itself.

Honestly, people in the media tell on themselves all the time.

Also interesting is that the same real estate agent handled the Puck penthouses, the real estate the Kushners have had a hard time moving, despite all the headlines and images and social media posts and pap walks that have tied Karlie Kloss to one of them.

Interestingly, on his Instagram, no other “coming soon” posts seem to shout out buyers, so is this a bag tag for Karlie’s LV campaign? A tag to get a little commotion?

If you were a Kushner connected to big nyc real estate projects, you might announce a separation via real estate curiosity or sales bc it’s guaranteed to get headlines in certain social circles and then you have free advertising, etc. and I might do it after a few appearances or pap walks to show it’s amicable and everyone is happy as dear friends.

But a Karlie downsizing from a $42M apartment—allegedly secured in fall 2021 when headlines declared they were listing their $23M Puck Penthouse to upgrade to the building’s crown jewel—to a $6M apartment story within weeks of a Taylor Swift is single story just seems a little over the top, right?

So is the bag & tag plausible deniability? We’ll have to wait and see!

Taylor Swift really said “oh, this private life you’ve been watching? Yeah, its never not a performance from inside my fish bowl!” when she blew this popsicle stand.

(Which she tells us is synonymous with her melancholia… so, sometimes that haze can loom over her as persistent sadness and ill-founded fears…)

But Taylor has been telling us that despite the sadness, fear, and sense of doom that comes with it, being with her star-crossed lover is the only shade of blue for her.

And gang, she recently framed this singular blue for us. It’s a “midnight blue,” according to Taylor.

Everyone lost their minds after she said the glitter puke and blood in the “Anti-hero” music video is “midnight blue,” but it wasn’t exactly just gaslighting.

It’s Taylor meditating on a theme in her life and art—a blue, a sadness,a melancholia that she feels most deeply in the dead of night, lying awake wondering about love, life, and who she is.

It’s also a blue in which she is submerged, in a fishbowl, in a haze, that is the only thing she really believes in despite the big hoax surrounding her (the idea that her lover’s love is faithless being the “Hoax”).

It’s the “true blue” of someone who knows her for her, is loyal, and dives into this life with her despite it all.

It’s the true blue she bleeds and the true blue that pours out when she spills her guts or the walls come down.

And it’s lavender.

First of all, not this man whose vows are so lame all he can say of his bride is:

After knocking the groom out of the way (the cake topper) she swoops in to give a toast outfitted in a suit (notably not a dress).

As the lyrics note you can’t help who you fall for, she gives the Bride a present—a scarf! The bride looks on adoringly as chaotic Taylor talks.

Then we have The First Dance

This moment is theater at a wedding. After the groom yanks the bride in close, we get a stoic, reserved dance until the bride can get away…and reveals sneakers under her dress (Runaway Bride vibes at a minimum! She doesn’t wanna do it!).

But if you’re not brand new this frame will remind you of something more…

One Karlie Kloss in (not cute or bridal) sneakers in her CUSTOM DIOR WEDDING DRESS on her alleged wedding day.

If you are a world-famous supermodel, I don’t care how long your photo shoot is, you aren’t wearing these shoes on your wedding day. You might wear them if it’s just for advertising shots in the woods that are taking a while, though.

After the bride walks away, we see her appear only as a vision or an idea of a bride… not so much a real portrait of someone beloved.

Throughout all of this, Taylor is the only person in (screaming) color.

We also get a nice shot of Taylor the Wayward Flower Girl at the kids table, goofing off and then eventually revealing that behind all her playful, mocking exterior there is a serious message for the groom: F*CK YOU. But is it meant for more than just the groom???

During this scene, we see her playing at making walrus teeth, which brings to mind the phrase “long of teeth” which means something is getting old. What’s getting old, Taylor?

Is it being relegated to the Kids Table (by public who still look down on her songwriting and image)?

Is it never appearing to or feeling that she has “grown up” and gotten married or started a family?

Is it this marriage charade between Josh and Karlie?

Is it being closeted and pretending everything is just fine?

Is it entertaining naive children* with illusions and magician’s tricks (see rabbit out of the Red hat) that are too often accepted at face value?
