I really do agree that what makes the show so funny are the jokes getting past the censors and I have faith that the writers know that fact as well. If they can balance the amount of adult jokes/swears, it could still be the funny show we know and love and also have new opportunities for more jokes in the process.

i mean, obviously the first thought when seeing this is “holy shit it’s gonna be for adults”, but then again, didn’t cartoon network green light it?

so i’m not sure it airing on adult swim really means anything

but if it truly is for adults then i? i don’t know how to feel about that

one half of me is thinking “oh my god we can hear them swear hahah” and other stuff

but the other half of me is thinking “the adult jokes aren’t gonna be that funny anymore”

cause let’s be real, the thing that made them funny was the fact they got past the censors

i’ve never really watched close enough, so if it was to air on adult swim, and actually be for more mature audiences, then surely that means it would be similar to that. but like i said i also think that this is kinda misleading ‘cause i’m pretty sure cartoon network were the ones to allow this series to be made.

but who the hell knows! maybe we really are getting regular show for adults. that’s crazy. i actually kinda wanna see what that looks like. people on reddit are already making jokes about it lmfao
