What’s in My Bucket List? - version 1
The objectives aren’t ordered by importance or by priority. My bucket list will be extended and I’ll get up to date when goals will be completed or in progress.
I tried to find and mix composed by travel, professional, life, art, skill objectives because a lot of bucket lists on internet gather travel goals mainly. Of course, bucket list are personal.
Then, I’m sorry in advance if you guys see any grammar/syntax mistakes in the posts. English isn’t my native language, so don’t hesitate to let me know if you notice something wrong. Thanks !
1 - Visiting Amsterdam, so it means visit Rotterdam as well and probably other cities as The Hague or Maastricht on the east side. I might want to go in Netherlands because the consumption of cannabis is legal (coffee shop are famous places for that) but I’m actually not smoker. I want to go there because photos of Amsterdam made me enthusiastic and I really like the no-filter Nordic mentality, very different than Latin mind.
That goal is now achieved.
2 -  Watch the Euroleague Final Four live, aboard if possible. I love basketball. This year (2017), Euroleague Final Four takes place in Istanbul. Maybe it’s the best place to watch this event live because Fenerbahçe, the biggest team of Istanbul will be likely qualify for the Final Four and Turkish supporters are really crazy. But, tickets for the games are very expensive (then flights, housing, foods and so forth), so I couldn’t do that this year.
3 - Travel across Te Araroa Pathway, through New Zealand. I haven’t got many information about that long-foot trail. But, it’s a perfect option to explore and discover lots of landscapes New Zealand. I’ll organize that trip when i’ll be over there.
4 - Learn to speak foreign languages. My English isn’t fluent that’s why I signed up for English courses at the university. However, I’m very bad in Spanish although I like this language. So, I began to learn Spanish by myself. Next year, I’ll enroll at university and pick Spanish class though. And then, I would like learning Italian to have usual conversation. I in love with languages.
5 - Live in another country for a year at least. Working Holiday Visa, European Voluntary Service, Erasmus or just find a job in a foreigner country... Anyway, there are few options to realize that goal, even if it’s not an easy one. I’ve got slight preferences about where I’d like to go but the destination will depend upon what program I select. Of course, that one of my biggest goal and maybe the most exciting.
6 - Travel along the Camino de Santigo to Santiago de Compostela, located in the north west of Spain. That walk is very long. There are a lots of contemporary pathways through Europe headed for Santiago de Compostela in Galicia. Typically, that’s a religious walk but plenty of atheist people go for a walk to visit this region of Spain. I’d would like to ramble on the main part of the Camino de Santiago. Apparently, it’s a really good group experience.
7 - Explore Europe by rail with the Interrail Global Pass. The Interrail Pass is a railway ticket allows to travel between 30 European countries. There are a lot of ways to plan the trip. It depends on what countries you want to visit, how much time you want to stay in each cities, and so on. It is very important to organize the trip to safe money but I’ll tell you guys everything at the right time.
9 - Explore Europe by bike with the bicycle paths network EuroVelo. Another way to explore Europe, not the easier however. This huge European project which plans 17 bicycle itineraries through 43 countries was supposed to be over on the summer 2017. Today (march 2017), two itineraries are missing and the others aren’t finished. The project might not be finished on time but some routes will be available soon !
8 - Watch a NBA game live, whatever the teams. Well, to be honest, I’d be happy if I could see the Los Angeles Lakers play at home. I just hope that they are better though because this season (2016 - 2017) is pretty tragic and the Staples Center is really sad.
List in progress
