I have to confess I'm always a bit fascinated when I see an artist posting huge quantities of Homestuck fanart, then I creep their archive and it turns out they only got into it, like, last month. It's interesting to see how people interpret the various characters' designs without the context of fifteen years worth of fandom discourse bullshit constraining them.
