What really made me understand why POC don’t want to teach or explain everything to white people, is posting about feminism on facebook. Every single time I make a post, I have to spend two days defending it, having every sentence analyzed for fault and citing numerous sources that prove what I’m saying is factual, and then explaining how wanting progress for women has nothing to do with how I feel about men being raped or abused.  When you spend so much time explaining something to someone, something that they could take ten seconds to look up on google, you’re not getting anywhere, and that individual is blatantly wasting your time, because if they truly wanted to know, the could have spent ten seconds educating themselves on any search engine. And now are making no progress what so ever, because you’re having to explain over and over again why the sky is blue when the info is right. fucking. there. It’s so fucking draining.  So if you want to know about something, just google it, don’t expect someone to tell you, they probably already had to tell fifty other people today, and instead of teaching you the rudimentary facts, they may actually want to make some progress for once.

A new study released by the Entertainment Software Association has revealed that adult women now occupy the largest demographic in the gaming industry. Women over 18 made up a whopping 36 percent of the gaming population, followed by adult men at 35 percent.

So when I did this shit in school. you got a big fat 0 if you didn’t explain your work. And that is exactly what this bullshit question is. There’s no explanation of what they expect. If billy said well I’ll take 7 out of the 8 and 3 out of the five and then add what’s left over, he’d still be right, but how much would you like to bet he’d get marked wrong, because there’s only one way to do this.  You want to teach something like this practically, in a usable and sensical way?  Bob and Margaret are taking a trip to the zoo. Legit. I don’t get it, and I’m American. I was helping someone with their second language homework, and she kept apologizing for being slow, and I told her, don’t apologize, you know multiple languages, I only know one, you’re way ahead of me. 

I find it funny how an average American who only knows one language thinks they’re smarter than an immigrant who probably knows 4 languages fluently except English.
