same anon from before, all i meant is that its generally not advisable to put personal “beef” and vague posts in the tag. mainly its confusing and stressful to anyone who frequents the tag because they have no idea if you’re talking about them or not, esp when its tagged as kind of being directed at someone. its liable to stir up drama because no one knows what situation or user youre referencing.

it also goes against how the tumblr tagging system is meant to work. character and show tags are like a library. if i go to the tolkein section in a library, i want to see lord of the rings and its associated works, not disagreements someone has with a classmate about their opinions on legolas. if i go into the joyce tag or the first shadow tag, i want to see posts about joyce or the first shadow, not about vague disagreement someone has with a user who it seems isn���t even on this platform. its a courtesy and functionality thing. tumblr doesn’t do tagging for reach, so it’s best to only tag the stuff that appears in the post. which, in the case of differences over character interpretations, would be your personal feelings. it’s not really about any of those characters, it’s about you and your feelings. so it doesn’t go in the character tags.

im not trying to be mean, i just wanted to tell you before you get reported for spam or end up in the center of drama you didnt mean to start. ive seen people get their whole account taken down for accidentally spamming tags with stuff that doesnt belong there.

There I removed the tags! 😊 I mostly do that because I wanted to make friends in the fandom and because those are the characters people may butcher a lot (and I did make a friend because of that post) but I understand why you’d be slightly upset! Thanks ❤️❤️

What is/are your fav scene/s in tfs :3

I really enjoy the scene with Henry (flayish Henry at the point) and Joyce in the control room at the school together. When he says “that’s a shame, I really liked you.” CHILLS. CHILLS. BECAUSE LIKE THEN HE INCHES CLOSER BECAUSE HE’S GOING TO KILL HER. (Or like knock her out maybe) THAT SCENE WAS SO GOOD.

I am getting so many asks! This is very exciting and YES I ABSOLUTELY DO! ❤️❤️

So I mean hopper definitely taught/helped Joyce to learn how to drive!! (She failed two times)

They definitely go to Melvalds ALL THE TIME together to study

Jim purchases plushies for Joyce constantly (she has an army of them on her bed)

They listen to records together and they constantly argue on which one to listen to next 😭

One of my favourites is that she is SPANISH!!!! Maldonado is a Spanish last name and I really like that headcanon, it’s one of my absolute favs!!

She really likes grandma candies!

She loves going over to bobs house to hang out Patty cause they’re best friends! (Let me dream guys)

She has a diary where she documents her experience as a director for the play and goes around interviewing people

She plays the saxophone or wants to (I’m biased… I play alto sax 😋) (she’d def be in band guys trust)

a quick word of advice about the tfs fandom? don’t start stuff in the tag. it always ends badly and it’s stressful for other people in the tag who aren’t involved. its gotten nasty in the past. i just don’t want you to get caught up in the center of something you’re not prepared for.

YES YES YES y'all know i HAVE to do this!

okay so i lowk started this and then got seriously jammed and stuck....it's only a quick one i apologise

(and this is my first time doing a req YAYYYYZ!)

"This is stupid, Joyce." Hopper rolled his eyes as he got out of the Ford Crestline, Fixing his hair in the rear view mirror, the whole drive to Melvalds he had been going on about how spending his saturday doing anything else would've been so much more fun, Joyce was not having this.

"You're a pain in my ass, do you know that?" She glanced over at him, pulling him away from looking at his own reflection and instead towards the double doors of the diner.

"I strive towards being so." He shrugged and pushed the door open, letting the two older teenagers see that Patty and Henry already seemed to be there, Henry sat quite rigid and still, and Patty waving at them with a smile.

"Hey! Thought you two were never going to show," Patty watches as the other two sit down opposite her and Henry, her voice is kind as always. "We ordered some drinks, i didn't really know what you guys would want so i just guessed-"

She was cut off by the sound of James Hopper Jr slurping obnoxiously on the milkshake in front of him, before it almost went flying from Joyce nudging him, he groaned and looked at her. "What did i do now?"

Joyce rolled her eyes and looked at Patty, she smiled politely. "Thanks- you really didn't have to do that, honestly, we were gonna be late either way, the ford crestline...broke down...on the way here." She glared at Hopper, the car did not break down.

"It really did- honestly, that car is my baby, and i know when it breaks dow-"

"You two were sat in the car bickering before you even left Joyce's house." Henry spoke up for the first time since the older two had arrived, they both looked at each other, they had been doing just that, Joyce had told him she would pay for the food- and he had insisted against it, to which she said he just felt bad for her.

Hopper raised an eyebrow, his face almost frozen for a moment, someone had successfully got Hopper to shut up, and everyone, even Patty Newby, was staring at Henry.

"H- how did you know that?" Joyce stuttered just a bit, mortified and scared that this kid knew exactly what she had been doing whilst he wasn't even near her.

Henry very suddenly sat up straight, looking at his hands whilst he picked at the skin of his fingers near his nails, he shook his head quickly. "It was just a guess. I'm good at that."

"Yeah you clearly are damn good at it, Jesus," Hopper took a deep breath, running his hand through his hair, a nervous habit before calling over to the diner's owner. "Hey Melvald! Four burgers and fries yeah? Thanks-"

Patty, forever the peacekeeper, tried to keep the conversation light, and appreciated Hopper changing the mood already by ordering the food. "So urm, oh! Henry- why don't we tell them about that conversation we overheard? Y'know, with Ted and Karen-"

But the teenage boy seemed to be preoccupied by something else in his line of sight, something no one else could see, but he could, the shadow.

This would be a long double dinner date.
