we need more trans men in stem we need more trans men in humanities we need more trans men in the arts we need more trans men in trades we need more trans men everywhere and anywhere and we need to celebrate every single trans man who chooses himself over being a sacrificial lamb for cisfeminist narratives. go make that hrt appointment, boy, you do not fucking need to suffer in silence because you don't want to be "just another man in ___" you are not betraying anyone. cisfeminists betray you when they treat your existence like a symbol instead of a fellow person.

If Zohran Mamdani instiutes even 1 of his promise (much like DeBlasio instituting the cessation of stop and frisk), he would be considered an above-average mayor of New York.
That aside, his victory does loudly show to establishment democrats that Zionism and Zionism-baiting has lost them yet another election. No lessons will be learned from this, but it's nice to know that the democrats have completely lost control of their electorate re: this issue.

people talk about "well some people NEED ABA to learn to mask or decrease supports needs" but never talk about how a) being higher supports not a bad thing b) ABA itself actually increases supports needs for a lot of people who get traumatized from it. ABA doesnt always produce successfully high-masking low-supports "high-functioning" autistics & acting like thats true buys into the idea that ABA actually works and is a reasonable approach to autism
i went into ABA a MSN autistic and came out of ABA a severely traumatized MSN autistic with long-term physical damage and emotional trauma. until emdr therapy i had nightmares flashbacks panic attacks etc every day. a lot of day to day things were triggers and still to this day i struggle and dont think ill ever really be fully healed from what happened to me in ABA. ABA was actively disabling for me, not making my disability "better"

Can anyone spare a few dollars this month so that my power doesn’t get shut off tomorrow?
I owe the power company $150 for my monthly bill and a payment plan for the last time they shut off my power
Thank you so much in advance , I would be hopeless without your words of encouragement and support

it is annoying as fuck to be Nahua Native in LA right now, surrounded by (mainly white) people acting like boarders aren’t violent no matter where they’re drawn and Mexico isn’t also a settler colony. Obviously, all solidarity with the folks being directly impacted by ICE violence and the folks on the frontlines. But let’s live in reality, I’m sick of Mexican supremacist narratives dominating our conversations around immigration and deportation.
I don’t give a fucking shit what part of the US used to be Mexico, it’s all stolen Native land and Mexico treats Indigenous people there horrifically. Yes, even if sometimes they are returning land to Indigenous stewardship—real Land Back in Mexico, the US, Canada, and every other colonial state cannot actually be achieved until those entities and their governments are nonexistent. Indigenous people south of the US border are still extant and we see what you think of us when you act like Mexico is somehow inherently universally Indigenous

This is going to be hard for a lot of people to hear but if you want to make your spaces safer for disabled people, then you need to stop assuming malice from every poorly worded post.
A lot of neurodivergencies and disabilities cause people to ramble, lose their train of thought very easily, go on tangents, have disordered thinking, etc. We can get words and names mixed up very easily, lose words entirely, struggle to put our thoughts into actual words that make sense to people, and lose track of conversations. Whether it's from ADHD, psychosis, brain fog, brain damage, or any other condition, thinking and verbalizing ourselves can be really fucking hard.
This isn't malicious. We aren't doing it on purpose to hurt or upset people, and we aren't ignorant about the topic just because we get mixed up. We deserve to have voices, even if we don't always make sense to other people.

before talking about how "fucked up" and "weird" the fingers and eyes in generative ai imagery are, take a second to critically think about whether there are real people who look like that whose bodies you're calling fucked up and weird; things like polydactyly, coloboma, and polycoria are very much real conditions people have and shouldn't be considered freakish even if some of them are rare

Second in a series of comics about #ICE raids in the workplace. Feel free to share and add these to your resources, however you deem necessary.
This infographic is in direct response to the June 2025 ICE raids being conducted in Los Angeles, and the succeedingprotests. In this city we have lived in for over 10 years, we are seeing a new level of intimidation tactics by LAPD and now, the National Guard.
Protesters have constitutional rights.
Immigrants have constitutional rights.
These rights are being ignored by LAPD and ICE.
IF YOUR RIGHTS ARE BEING VIOLATED, FIGHT BACK IN ANY WAY YOU CAN!
This comic was created by:
Andrew Greenstone @comicsareforkids and Ysabel Riina
This is not legal advice or a substitute for consultation with a lawyer.

We are accepting help from anyone that can translate these comics into other languages .

A new site, FuckLAPD.com, is using public records and facial recognition technology to allow anyone to identify police officers in Los Angeles they have a picture of. The tool, made by artist Kyle McDonald, is designed to help people identify cops who may otherwise try to conceal their identity, such as covering their badge or serial number.
