Etsy is somehow being even worse, do not click etsy ads

Etsy is now forcing shop owners to be part of their ads. We can not opt out.

To anyone who buys from etsy: DO NOT EVER CLICK THEIR ADS

They are rolling out a program where if you get a sale from an ad they put out, they’re taking 12-15% of the profit(probably on top of the like, 5%ish+ they already take). Even worse, if you have clicked an Etsy ad in the last 30 days ANYONE YOU BUY FROM ON ETSY IN THAT PERIOD WILL BE BILLED THAT FEE. 

So please, if you see an ad for something you like off etsy, do not click it. Just go on etsy and search for it.

This is somehow worse than what storenvy used to pull. 

Please go directly through an artist or see if they have their own storefront (I use bigcartel) instead of purchasing off etsy. And if you must, just please, please, never click an etsy ad.

More tiny jars, starting to get the hang of UV resin. They’re not perfectly clear and that’s OK, they don’t need to be, but they’re much better than the first batch thanks to HMS2 showing us how it’s done:

I used glossy Mod Podge instead of spray clear coat, and I need moar finer sandpaper or maybe a nail buffer thing.

I recently picked up watercoloring to both save myself from sculpter's block, and to hone my drawing skill, which has never been strong. But I wanted to share a few of my sketches because I have never been proud enough to show off my drawings and for once in my life I actually like some 😍

This one is one of the first ones I made, a little witchy shelf. The painting isn't my favorite on this one but it was a nice expireience to play with the paint 😊

I learned to draw crystals from a great tutorial, and now I can't stop myself haha. After I made this one I was to scared to paint it. My sister is so sweet, she wants us to get this one as a tattoo 😍😊

This one I drew based on a tattoo idea I have had for years. Still to scared to paint it 🙈

This last one is most recent, I sketched and painted this piece for someone who has grown very close to my heart, I don't know if he would want to be tagged, so I won't 😊 I have never sketched or painted a fox before, it was challenging but so worth 😍

Dollhouse Miniature Teal Rose Cupcakes

I’m learning something new with these Dollhouse Miniature Teal Rose Cupcakes.

Firstly, I took these photos in the afternoon. I always don’t take photos in the afternoon because the light is most harsh then. 

But it seems that I finally found a spot that works best….but then the irony is I’ll be moving out in the near future.

But it’s OK I guess, these photos will always remind me of the wonderful afternoon shots. 

Who would have thought, Teal roses on pink looks pretty good too?!

The Blackett baby house, c. 1760. The house originally belonged to Lady Anne Blackett, wife of Sir Edward, who may have given it to her to celebrate the birth of their son and daughter in 1758. This house was not a toy, but an item commissioned as a social status symbol, meant for display. These sorts of houses were sometimes used to prepare children for domestic life and educate girls in how to run a large country household. This house is not based directly on the family seat of Matfen Hall, Northumberland (many similar houses were replicas of their owners’ real homes), but provides an accurate picture of contemporary furnishings in a house of the period and social position. It was given to the Museum of London by Ida Blackett in 1912 (via) (via).
