CHAPTER 12
Nobody is perfect everyone has their flaws. What happens when Atsumu who has one of the biggest rumors at school revolving around him and Sakusa who has a secret he can’t tell anyone. Akaashi a boy who cares so much about his image but has someone trying to dig up a dirty secret about him falls in love with a boy who seems so far of reach.
TW: drugs, underage drinking, needles, blood, fighting, language, violence, rape?, mentions of being molested, mentions of abuse, ect.
Maybe hiding in the boy's bathroom during lunch wasn't the best idea. Not only because it smelled but the fact that he was hungry too.
Atsumu was still going to the nurse's office every day, and Suna was hitting it off with another girl leaving him alone. He didn't hate his friends for doing that; he understood they had a life, but he wished he was hiding in this nasty stall with a friend. He would listen to people walk in and out. To either use the restroom or to slap box.
He felt like a big idiot hiding in here from his new boyfriend. It could be a mistake agreeing to date a popular football player. Akaashi has never been in a relationship. What made him think this was going to be easy?
Every time he would look at Bokuto his heart would be pounding so hard that he could hear it. His hands would begin to sweat, and his face would turn a different color. He was just a huge mess. It was so bad that even Suna got secondhand embarrassment by seeing his attempt to talk to Bokuto this morning. Suna ended up putting his hand on his shoulder and said, "how about you try another time again, without me nearby because that hurt to watch." He hasn't been able to sleep these past nights nor even concentrate on his work. Everything has been piling up on him, not even a decent meal has come his way. He was so done for now.
He hoped Bokuto wasn't hurt by his idiotic actions. He wished he could just call it off; he deserved better than whatever this was. It wasn't even worth calling it a relationship. This was the worst thing to happen in his life other than meeting his friends. Akaashi groaned as his stomach grumbled, begging to be fed. Enough was enough, and he needed to focus on his health. He opened up his bag to see if he had a snack in his bag; though he wasn't sure he would be able to eat in the school's bathroom, it just felt really wrong. He should have hidden in an empty classroom or, better yet, stayed home. Who would even care if he didn't show up? He had few friends to begin with.
All of this overthinking was making his head pound. He needed some sort of distraction or something to cheer him up; some calculous homework could do the trick.
Taking out his notebook and math book, he started doing work while crouching. His shaking hand nervously wrote down numbers. Maybe all of this was hopeless. Before he could spiral into an overthinking phase, he heard a knock on the door.
"It's occupied," Akaashi says, running his hands through his hair. The third person to come kicking during lunchtime. Did these kids have bowel problems, or did they come in to smoke? Whatever it was, he was getting tired of it. Looking down, he could see the feet of the person standing there. Then another knock was heard.
"Hey man, it's occupied," Akaashi said, clearly getting irritated. What was this dude's deal? Did he not understand English or something? Thinking about it more, maybe they were deaf or didn't understand the language. Akaashi would hate to look like a huge prick. Again the door knocked but more urgently.
"I'm coming no need to keep on going." Akaashi said standing. Grabbing the plastic lock, he slid it to the left, pushing open the door, looking up he was met with a very familiar face. Bright golden eyes and two toned hair. "I finally found you." He said.
Akaashi's legs moved back slowly, wishing he hadn't opened the door. He backed up to the toilet, making him lose his balance. Quickly Bokuto grabbed Akaashi's arm pulling him back onto his feet.
He was making an utter fool of himself in front of him again.
"Why are you here Akaashi? Are you hiding because of me?" He said, grabbing both of his wrists so he wouldn't run. His face turned into a concerted look.
"Of course not! I'm just...I don't know." He looked away, avoiding his gaze.
Bokuto's hand shifted from Akaashi's wrist to his warm palms.
"look, lets talk about this in a better place, okay? I want to know what you're feeling, what you're thinking, I don't want to force you to do anything you don't want," he said as he reached onto the floor and threw Akashi's bag onto his back. He was absolutely right, they couldn't keep just playing a game of cat and mouse forever. They weren't middle schoolers to be doing this anymore. Giving in he followed Bokuto into the halls though something felt off. When walking down the busy school halls, he would notice people looking at him weirdly. Was it the sight of Bokuto holding his hand? Their look seemed awfully too familiar to the one Atsumu had been receiving. They ended up going to the back of the school and out to the parking lot. Akaashi hopped onto the passenger seat, and Bokuto got into the driver. They sat there In silence, not knowing how to start the conversation. What was he going to say? That they should break up? That he was such an awful person?
"You know if you just want to break things off, you can, right?" Bokuto said, looking out of the window and avoiding his eyes for a bit. Scared on what his answer might be.
Akaashi didn't know what to feel about the situation. He and Bokuto were polar opposites, they didn't share anything in common. How was an introvert like him supposed to be in a relationship in the first place? He should have asked those idiots who he calls his friends for some sort of advice before going into something like this. Suna would know about this kind of stuff he's been with god know how many.
"Or, like I said, we can take things slow. You have yet to actually be with me. You've been hiding this whole time. Why not give it a chance?" Bokuto turned to look at him placing his arms on the steering wheel as he rested his head on it.
Try it.
He guessed that's the most he could do before assessing the situation. "You know what, Bokuto? your right about that." Akaashi spoke up. "And I'm sorry for being like this...I'm just new to the game." Akaashi slouched into the seat, trying to gather his thoughts.
He heard as Bokuto let out a slight chuckle. His face had a look of ease and happiness to it. Maybe he was laughing at the fact that he has a very clueless partner now.
"I'm glad you decided to give this a second chance. Don't be afraid to tell me anything, okay?" He said.
"Let's head back inside, okay? I can't miss economics, or else I won't be able to play the game on Friday. That you'll be going to, right?" Bokuto said with a mixture or hopeful and despaired looks on his face. "Also, I won't do anything till your ready okay?" The football player reassured him.
Akaashi gave him a nod of understanding and got out of the car. "Maybe I will show up," he said as they walked back inside together; they both headed to the senior hall. Luckily this was the last class for today, and he could go home and scream into his pillow. The halls were now empty meaning he was late to class or maybe everyone didn't want to go to there last class and straight up left the school. Usually, he would be panicking just being a few minutes late, but oddly he felt fine. Waving goodbye to Bokuto he walked into class to be met with the teacher. He was a tall slender man with glasses that always seemed to wear a flannel like dress shirt.
"Sorry for being la-"
"Are you okay? Do you need to head home?" He interrupts him.
Akaashi raised his brow in confusion, he watched as his teacher placed his hand on Akaashi's shoulder as if he wanted him to leave. "I feel fine...well, just a bit tired, so I think I'm going to sit down," Akaashi said, walking away and taking a seat. Sitting down in his usual spot, he began taking out his necessities. For some reason, his teacher had this concerned look on his face. Did he worry him that much that he was late? Though that would be an odd reason to act like that. Resting his back on the chair, he felt another hand grab onto his shoulder, making him jump.
"About time you showed up love bird." A familiar voice spoke. Looking behind him he saw Suna with his hood up and food sprawled on the desk as if he were in the comfort of his home. This was a sight he definitely thought he wouldn't see this school year.
"This is new, why are you here?" Akaashi asks, squinting at him.
"What are you talking about? This is my class?" He said, rolling his eyes.
"Yes, but you never show up, are you going to tell me why you decided to come today? Don't tell me you're hiding from those guys again." Akaashi said, getting ready to scold him for not only him putting both of them in danger but for putting the school in danger.
"Because of you idiot, I came to check on you. I know it must feel hard right now, but if Atsumu can do it so can you! Look I even gave you those pills to help ease you down." Suna whispers into Akaashi's ear.
Another person asked if he was alright? What the hell was going on? Turning to look at the class, he noticed many eyes on him. Some being not so nice looks. Was everyone on this sick joke that he didn't know about it?
"What's going on? What do you mean by that?"
Suna looked at him wide eye as he settled back into his seat. "Oh god, you don't know yet, do you." He said while looking to the sides as if something terrible was about to happen. He ran his hands through his hair in frustration.
Akaashi didn't receive an answer to his question; actually, Suna only talked for part of the Class Period. He looked on edge Until the end of class when he shoved his hoodie into Akaashi's arms. He was acting very weird, usually you would see him sleeping or slacking or not wanting to be part of anything. Now he looked more alert and fidgety. Akaashi looked down at it, confused of what exactly was going on. He wanted him to wear his over size hoodie? Was he trying to make a girl he didn't like believe that he was gay again? Because if so, he was definitely not going to be part of that again.
"Put it on now, we have to go before things get worst," Suna said, helping his friend slip it on quickly. Before Akaashi could protest about anything, Suna grabbed his arm and dragged him out onto the halls. Why was he hiding? Why were they in a rush to get out of school? Should he have told Bokuto about leaving? What if he looks for him? He promised to stop hiding from him. Stopping his movement, he makes Suna look back at him.
"Why did you stop walking? If it's something you forgot, don't worry about it just get in my car and I'll get it." Suna said, tugging his arm once again.
"No it's not that, I'm going to look for Bokuto and say goodbye," Akaashi said, turning around. He was going to ensure he didn't mess this up again.
He could hear Suna mumble a few words before letting out a heavy sigh. "You'll thank me later..." he said, making Akaashi turn around immediately.
Something about those words didn't sound too pleasant. The second he looked back he could see Suna's fist swinging toward him. With a quick duck, he dodges it. For a second, they both stood there shocked, not being able to believe that he actually was able to avoid it. He didn't know why his friend was trying to knock him out. Was he trying to kill him?! What he did know was that he had to start running so he did. Running past people who gave his strange looks, Past teachers who ignored him. Going up the stairs, he panted heavily the last time he ran like that when he was being chased by a group of people not too long ago. Luckily people who do drugs aren't that good with their stamina.
Making it to the upper gym area, he stopped to catch his breath. He had to he here somewhere he has practice, after all. Taking a seat on the floor, he began to rest. Soon he heard a group of girls laughing, making him look up and saw him. Bokuto walking down the hall with a group of girls. The same group that would tend to follow him everywhere he went. At that point, you could call them fan girls that would die just to date him. From the looks of it he must of not said anything yet about dating. If he did he wouldn't have any girls of him then again nobody respected any boundaries here. Maybe it was a good thing they didn't know. From what he knew the girls in this school would go to extrema lengths to ruin people's relationships. What if some girl envied him and decided to do something horrible to him .
"Attention bulldogs! I have an important announcement to make to the whole school!" A high pitched female voice spoke over the intercom
"It has come to my attention that a student may be a potential future killer in the school. Someone who may be causing harm already, actually, his name is Akaashi Kenji."
Akaashi stopped walking towards Bokuto and slowly turned around to look at the intercom. What the hell is going on?
"He is the son of the murderer who killed twelve-year-old Kenma Kozume a few years ago. He was murdered over... over being unable to pay back the money he borrowed for his mother, who was in the hospital. His father was a disgusting loan shark!" She said with a crying voice. "We lost a young Angel t-to a monster! I know this is something that you may not all agree with but I'm sure you've heard the this idiom before like father, like son." She said before the click of her hanging up the intercom rang through the hall.
Was this it? Was this what Suna was trying to save him from? From hearing his dad's bullshit get exposed to the whole school. Everything he's done so far in life was his attempt to disassociate from his father. All his hard work had simply gone into the trash. Turning back around, he saw Bokuto looking straight at him, mouth slightly open like if he had something to say. Whatever it was, he didn't want to know because he knew it would hurt.
Pulling his hood up even more, he decided to just walk away.
___________________________
Yea, maybe drugs did suck after all because he couldn't even catch up to Akaashi after he ran from him. He didn't feel as youthful as he did a few years ago. As he searched the halls, he could hear the announcement being made making his heart sink. He was too late, he failed, he failed to keep Akaashi from hearing it. Not only was that the worst way to learn about the drama, but he was also in school. Kuroo is somewhere, too, probably searching for Akaashi.
Kenma was known in elementary school for being best friends with Kurro. They would stick to each other like gum. Until he died, of course, after that Kuroo had to transfer school because he could handle going to school and being bombarded with questions about his death. It was too much for a kid to handle. There was a rumor going around that maybe he had something to do with it because when he came back for high school, he acted as if he didn't know such person. For years that's what everyone believed but now, cats out of the bag. Maybe he wanted to leave the past behind for his sake.
Searching desperately, he looked for a boy who may seem to be having a mental breakdown. Where would he go if he were Akaashi. He had looked in all the empty classrooms and even the janitor's closet. He had come to the conclusion that maybe he had probably ran away at this point. Who wouldn't? He probably feels like there's a man hunt out for him now. Resting his body on the wall, he pulled out his phone to see that he still hadn't gotten any messages. Not even Atsumu had bothered to check in on them. Then again, he probably had his own problems going on. From what he's noticed, his allegations died down but maybe the fact that he hasn't been seen plays a role in that.
Now, where could of he have gone? If he was him, he would of gone to the most secluded hall. That be the library due to the fact that nobody in the school would even make the fort to go there. Making his way to the library, he could hear people whispering to each other about the announcement.
The majority of them would just say, "who's that?" Which was a good thing because that meant that not many people would care to even spread it.
Making a sharp left turn, he was met with someone who wore a black hoodie and was staring out a window. He seemed broken enough to stare into space. Approaching, he hesitantly rested his head on the other back not wanting to push him to look at him. He felt guilty for not being able to help the situation more. He froze as his body stiffened in surprise.
"I'm sorry I couldn't of protected you. I should of told you sooner but I didn't want you to freak out about it. I didn't want to see you go nuts like Atsumu did in public so I wanted to bring you to my house so we could talk about it." Suna said
"I wanted to be a good friend and help you but failed. Just like I fail in everything I do in life."
He felt as the other boy turned around but brought his head to rest on his shoulder. He smelled sorta lovely but he couldn't quite catch the specific sent. Though as weird as it sounds, it wasn't a smell that he recognized
"I could of done better Akaashi. I know you May think of me as a self-centered person but that's different for the people I love. Your not just a friend your like family and I know you feel icky hearing all of this from me. What I'm trying to say is... I'm sorry for failing as a friend." Suna said, wrapping his arms tightly around him. He could feel how the other boy wrapped his around his head.
"I may not be who you're looking but I don't think you should be sorry. You tried your best and there's nothing you could have done. He was bound to hear it at some point." The soft voice said. Quickly looking up, he noticed that it was true. This wasn't Akaashi but a boy with white hair and black ends.
"Shit," he said as he let go of him. "Sorry man, I didn't notice, it's just that you have the same build as him and wore the same thing as him." Suna said, looking away not being able to look at him because he completely let go in front of him.
"Wait I actually haven't seen you around are you new here?" Suna asks, he would of seen someone as good-looking at this school a long time ago if he wasn't new.
"Yes I am I come from the outskirts but my family decided to move here for my education." He said with a smile.
Something about him ticked Suna off. He didn't know what, though. Could it be because his voice was so calming? Or maybe because he was good-looking? It could be that he felt threatened by his good looks. Or perhaps because he could feel his heart fluttering even though he swore he was straight. This felt incredibly wrong but so right as the same time. The longer he looked at his brown eyes the more he wanted to keep talking to him.
"I'm sorry for disturbing you, take care." Suna waved as he quickly rushed to leave the scene. What did he get himself into? Was meeting that guy a mistake?
What just happened? Why was he questioning what gender he was into now? He's supposed to be the straight one in the friend group. Bisexual, gay, straight, that was the order of their friend group. He was a straight, delinquent drug dealer. A drug dealer who was also known as a chick magnet. He ran into the nearest bathroom, hoping nobody was in there. To his luck, it was empty. Leaning on the sink, he looked at himself in the eyes. He needed to pull himself together. Splashing water into his face, he gasped as the cold water seemed to awaken him more. Maybe Akaashi would have some advice for him on a situation like this...
That's right he was supposed to be looking for him. Drying his face off with his shirt, he walked out and decided to call him.
The phone rang a few times before the other side picked up.
"Where are you?" Suna said, walking out the school.
"I'm in your car hiding..." Akaashi spoke quietly.
He would of asked how he got in there but felt like there wasn't much of a point in asking. Making his way to his car he pulled out his keys and unlocked it from afar. It was a habit of his that he did because if he was ever jumped, he could run to his already locked car.
Getting inside, he turned the car on and sat there in silence. Air conditioning flowed, cooling both of them off. He'll drive them both to his house, where they can relax and talk about it. It would also allow him to hit a blunt. It was something he felt like he desperately needed.
"I think I'm going to start going to church from now on." Suna said as he pulled out the parking spot.

Master list || Chapter 10 || Minors do NOT interact
Nobody is perfect everyone has their flaws. What happens when Atsumu who has one of the biggest rumors at school revolving around him and Sakusa who has a secret he can’t tell anyone. Akaashi a boy who cares so much about his image but has someone trying to dig up a dirty secret about him falls in love with a boy who seems so far of reach.
TW: drugs, underage drinking, needles, blood, fighting, language, violence, rape?, mentions of being molested, mentions of abuse, ect.
His eyes dart around the room as if he had never seen this place before. The same place where he comes to everyday to work. Atsumu grabs a cold water bottle from the fridge and presses it onto the other boys face who has yet to speak. Hoping to wake him up from the trance he was still in. His face scrunched as the cold bottle touched his flushed cheeks. Sitting up from where he rested he took the bottle from Atsumu's hands and uncapped it taking a long sip of water before closing it and throwing it on the side.
"Sorry must of fallen asleep" he said in a very tired voice. Rubbing his eyes he stood up and proceeded to walk it off.
Atsumu's eyes watched him struggle to walk a bit until lets out a heavy sigh as he grabbed Sakusas shoulder. The younger boys left eye twitched clearly irritated by the fact he was being touched. He's shown his dislike for human contact a few times by lashing out before. He had made it clear at this point that under no circumstances is he allowed to touch him. Not like the blonde would take that into consideration on how the other one felt right now. Clearly Sakusa was trying to pretend like nothing ever happened. He's probably positive that Atsumu has no clue about the situation. Seeing Sakusas perspective of him being a slow boy who party's all night. He's also probably heard how Atsumu only cares about himself than others. Which is partly true. It didn't matter now though, Atsumu had gotten what he wanted which was his attention. He slowly pointed at his own inner arm and taps on a spot that clearly has nothing on it. The boy raises a eyebrow looking at him confused but it didn't take long for him to get the massage and look down his own arm.
"Oh" was the only thing he could muster out.
Tracing his long skinny fingers out on a new bandage that was placed on his left arm. He slowly looked up with a do you know? Face. Which Atsumu quickly responded with yea Iv been known.
It was hard to read his face now, he seemed to have a mixture of hurt and anger. He seemed to search the floor for a answer before deciding what to say next, "Well thank you but I didn't need your help." Sakusas says pushing Atsumu's arm of his shoulder. Turning back around he started walking towards his desk. Sitting down he squirted some sanitizer into his hands and began to rub his hands aggressively.
"Yer clearly not okay Omi-Kun but that's fine we all have a little trouble in life. Sometimes our ego is too big for our own good and we refuse to get the help we need." Atsumu says trying to get closer. He knew he had to be careful not to set him off. People who take substances tend to me more agitated than normal. They tend to start fights and say things they don't mean.
"I don't need help from anyone okay? I'm doing fine on my own. If I really needed help I would of gotten it okay?" Sakusa opened a new tab on his computer and started putting dates next to peoples names. From what Atsumu could see it was the football teams names. Maybe he needed to be more upfront with him. Clearly he's been too nice which has been leading him no where.
"Sakusa don't be a hypocrite okay? I want to help you." Atsumu leans on his desk seeing how Sakusa ignored his presence. That wasn't enough to stop him though. He stayed in that position staring straight at him. Sakusa could most likely see him from the corner of his eyes which meant that he might eventually get tired of it and that he did.
"And how the hell are you going to help me? We're basically on the same boat Miya. We both do these things." Sakusa says still ignoring the blonde who was in his personal space. Standing back up Atsumu's waist touched the desk that he leaned on. Throwing his head back to look at the ceiling he opened his mouth.
"Theirs two big difference between me and you Omi. One is that I don't do hardcore stuff like ya and two is that I'm not being treated as some sort of dog." Atsumu's said the last part coming out a big harsh. He knew it was going to hurt the other boy but he didn't care,
Sakusa turned to look at him with a face of disgust. "What did you just say to me?" He asked clearly ready to pounce. "I said I don't get treated like a dog." He repeated louder.
"October 14 at 4:00 I see ya higher than Suna being assaulted in this exact office. From what I heard he controls ya and everything ya do. Now I'm not sure who exactly it was but what I can say is that relationship is not healthy. Sakusa just knowing ya these few days I came to a conclusion. Yer not the type of guy who would pick up something like that just to try it out. You were forced to do it and now yer hooked and can't seem to drop it." Atsumu said looking Sakusa in the eyes. "Let me help ya." Maybe his conclusions was wrong but if it was at least Sakusa could correct him. Sakusa searched the ground as if he looked for some sor of answer,
"It doesn't hurt to ask for help. I get it Yer a victi-"
Sakusa was quick to blow a punch at Atsumu's face nocking him to the ground. He sat there shocked not being able to fully register what happened until he Stood back up he rubbed his right cheek. It was something he wasn't really expecting from the younger male. He didn't seem like the aggressive type or a fighter. But there he stood with his fist still bawled up and with a look that screamed that he wanted more.
"You don't know what the hell your talking about. How about you just leave Miya. Actually I don't ever want to see your disgusting face ever again. Get your shit and leave" Sakusa yelled. His chest was rising and lowering quickly.
Atsumu had seem Sakusa angry before but this was a whole new level. "I'm not leavin Omi" Atsumu said with a smile a he couldn't help but make. "Can't you see yet a mess. You need my help Omi-kun. Admit it you need my help." Maybe he was coming off to harshly.
"You think it's that easy huh?" Sakusa chuckled.
"Glad we're on the same page her-" It didn't take long before Sakusa threw another punch right into his gut making the air leave his body. He stumbled back a bit before looking up to see Sakusa charging at him tackling them both onto the ground. Atsumu was surprised on the other boys strength but it was nothing like Osamu's. He had to Admit Sakusa was pretty strong but not enough to win a fight against Atsumu. They both struggled for a bit trying to overcome the other. Atsumu hands over Sakusas shoulders trying his best to push him off. He didn't want to fight him, he knew Sakusa wasn't in the right state of mind right now. Actually he never was to begin with. Sakusa adrenaline seemed to be running more than Atsumu's though. He managed to get his body fully on top of Atsumu's as he smashed his fist into his face. "I hate you!" He yelled "you don't know shit." "You don't know me!" He panted as he threw his fist far back before making contact with his face over and over again. Atsumu held a straight face grunting each time he revived the impact from the others fist. He could see Sakusa's face was full of anger, his forehead glistened with sweat, his beautiful curls bounced with any sudden move he made. But for some reason all Atsumu could do was lay there and take all the hits as he looked into the other boys eyes. He could feel how blood began to run down his face from his nose. It seemed like it was going on and on non stop until he suddenly stopped, panting heavily trying to catch his breath. He looked up to the ceiling as if he was trying to bring in happy thoughts to calm himself down.
"Did ya let it all out Omi?" Atsumu croaked weakly still looking at him. With those soft, warm brown eyes that looked into Sakusas dark ones. Instead of making him feel safe and secure it angered him more. Sakusas hands grabbed a fist full of Atsumu's shirt bringing him up to look at him closely. "Do you want to get beat to death? If not just shut up and leave before I do it." He said letting go of him dropping him onto the floor where he groaned due to the impact of his head hitting the hard floor. He expected Atsumu to leave and to never come back. To never see his face again and to hear rumors about how Sakusa beat a patient up. In fact Atsumu's would of definitely done that but he couldn't find it in his heart to leave this boy. He didn't know if he reminded him of his friend or if he honestly just really cared for him. He looked at Sakusa once more and shook his head slowly, not being able to speak from how much pain he was in. "Why? Why arnt you fighting me Miya?!" He said as he choked down a sob. He tried shaking Atsumu but didn't have the strength to do so. "Why arnt you fighting me! Iv been so fucking awful to you!" He yelled "I don't understand why your doing this! I don't understand why you going to this length!". Sakusa searched Atsumu's bloody face for answers, scanning every inch. "Why do you want to help me? You don't even know me like that Miya" he yelled as he began to cry. Tears falling from his face onto Atsumu's shirt. "I don't understand." He sobbed harder.
Atsumu sat up slowly using the rest of his strength to bring his arms around Sakusa and brought him into a tight hug. "Because I would hate to see my new friend die." His right arm slowly reached into the back of his soft curly hair as he felt as Sakusa rested his head onto Atsumu's shoulder, finally giving in. "I once had a friend that I was supposed to help with the same thing, but I failed. I failed him and now he's hooked to the point where theirs no getting him out. I would hate to see ya like that. Seeing how ya have such a big future ahead of ya." Atsumu smiled as his fingers played with his hair. Hair that was so soft and smooth. They sat there in silence, listening to how it just started to rain. It seemed to be quite soothing at a time like this. "You know your right Atsumu, your right... I'm sorry...I'm sorry I- I know I'm addicted to drugs. I know I am, and it's not something you can easily drop. You just kept saying to get help as it was that easy but it's not at all. I'm scared because Iv tried to stop before but I couldn't and that when I realized I was hooked on it. So Please- please help me." Sakusas shaking arms reached around Atsumu's neck as he hugged him tightly. "You have no idea how much pride I'm losing just to say this to you, but Help me." He mumbled into Atsumu's ear.
"Don't worry I got ya. Let it all out if you need to, I understand if it's stressful. Though it looks like your fine now." Atsumu rubbed circles onto the others back. Now that he though about it this was the most he's touched Sakusa. The boy would always snap at him but now here he was in his brace. He could feel how Sakusas settled into his shoulder to get comfortable as if he was planning to stay there a bit longer which he don't mind. "Hey Omi, ya tired? Get some rest in bed it'll be way more comfortable on there than in this position." Atsumu said still rubbing circles on his back. He didn't budge at all, it seemed like was already quite comfortable already. Though it could be the after math grime that dosage he toon not too long ago. He really didn't want to ruin the moment but the feeling of blood still going down his face wasn't pleasant. "Omi my nose is still bleedin I need to wash it before it gets on ya." Atsumu said seeing how Sakusa immediately got off of him to take a good look at what he had done.
"Right, sorry for you know." He looked off to the side.
"Ya I know now get to bed, I'll join ya after too. You have no idea how much energy our little tussle took from me." Atsumu said helping Sakusa up onto the bed.
Sakusa still had a long face from, probably guilt for what he had done. Atsumu couldn't blame him though. He knew drugs made you act certain ways you normally wouldn't. Walking towards the mini fridge that was placed in a corner he opened it to reach in and grab a drink. Water to hydrate himself since it seemed like he lost all the h2o with all the sweating he had been doing during there fight. Grabbing the door to close it he noticed a small bottle that was the size of his pinky. It seemed to contained a white powder inside of it. The blonde boy couldn't figure out if him finding it so easily was a good thing or plain out sad. It's been a while since he's seen something like this. Usually people who sell in the streets throw them into little bags. Making it easier to hide or throw down the toilet in case of emergencies. This seemed to be something high end or maybe expensive. Who would even want to bottle things like this up? The last time he'd seen something like this was in Sunas room. Standing up he pocketed it, not like his friend will be needing it anyways.
"Suna ya really need to stop doing these sorts of things. What profit are you making if your the one using them?" Atsumu glares at his friend who was next to him as he sat at the table nodding in and out. Letting out a loud sigh he pushed him out of frustration causing the the boy to fall to the ground.
" yer pathetic" Atsumu rolls his eyes.
People said that once you start high school you won't be able to recognize yourself anymore. The day he walked through those doors the first day he found out they were right.
The scared shy people that walked through thoes doors are now addicted to some sort of drug. Nobody is as nice as they used to be. They were all somehow using each other. No real bonds or friends could be formed. It was quiet rare to see it happen actually.
"Yo Akaashi can yo-" he stopped speaking seeing how his friend had yet to stand back from the slight push he gave him. Akaashi walked in and got onto the ground, he leaned over Suna and placed his ear close to his face and his fingers under the side of his jaw. He could here the slight sound of him breathing peacefully and how his heart heated slowly. He took a deep breath not realizing he was holding it for a while. "He's fine, not dead... at least not for now." Akaashi rolled his eyes as he sat next to Suna. This was a on going cycle with him. He would do hardcore stuff and they were stuck babysitting. Atsumu would join him time to time but just for hot boxes or drinking. Sometimes he would do other things but he never seemed to get addicted to anything.
"Save me some space in that bed since it's the only one you got that isn't full of your junk, ima use the restroom real quick." Atsumu said walking off to the restroom connected to the nurses office.
Closing the door slowly he turned the lights on and looked into the mirror, he could see his bloody bruised up face. His pretty face was ruined once again.this needed to stop happening to him. He couldn't afford to get into more fights unless he really wanted to destroy his looks. Turning the faucet on he splashed his face with water. The cold water making him feel more alive then usual.
What should he do about Sakusa now? Watch him and make sure he stops? Make him stop talking to that person who's harming him? Thought that might be hard since it seems like he has some sort of relationship with him. Maybe hook him onto something small like marijuana. He'd figure it out soon right now all that matters is getting him to tell him the truth. Applying some ointment he found on his face he walked out to see the pale boy already fast asleep. He just needed to close his eyes for a bit.
Getting comfortable he decided to let Sakusa have all the blanket out of the kindness of his heart. Also because he was afraid of what Sakusa might do to him if he actually hogged the blanket. Turning to his side he watched Sakusa sleep soundly. He once again had such a peaceful face. One that made him looked like he was such a innocent boy. His skin still shined and his lips were pursed. Something in him made his hand move without thought. He reached up to Sakusas face. He wanted to touch his warm skin again. He wanted to hug him so he could feel secure. Sakusa was just a guy he put a tough act but was such a softy. His had was just inches away from his face, from his pink lips, until the door creaked open slowly causing Atsumu to flinch. If anyone were to see them like this they would definitely get into trouble. Not only by the school but if the football team found out they would possibly do something to Sakusa too.
Shoving his hands back down he did the best possible option and pretended to be asleep not daring to move.
Did he not lock the door behind him? He couldn't of accidentally left it unlocked he made sure it wasn't. Could this person be a administrator? Or maybe someone with a key? He could hear how the steps came closer and closer until they stopped right behind him. He couldn't manage to take a peak due to his back facing the door but what he could do was to pretend to wake up. But he didn't want to be questioned about this also he contained drugs on his currently.
Atsumu kept his eyes closed shut listen carefully to everything going on. He could hear how the operan moved around and took a picture of them in bed. A low scoff could be heard before they decided to leave. By the sound of it he was having trouble walking, almost as if he was limping. As he closed the door Atsumu shot up from the bed.
They were going to spread that picture. Rumors would go around about who know what. People are going to not only look at him dirty but Sakusa. Why did he lay down with him in the first place? What was wrong with him?
Before his thoughts could spiral down into anything worst he heard a knock. He snapped his head towards that direction. Could they have possibly came back to pretend nothing happened?
Could this be the person he was looking for? The one who made Sakusa start using drugs? Atsumu watched as Sakusa shuffled around trying to get up. Quickly Atsumu pushed his head back down and walked to the door. Sakusa had a annoyed look from his actions but didn't say anything. Not like he could after what he had done to him. Opening the door slowly he peeked his head out just to see it was Bokuto. Now Atsumu knew he shouldn't just look him over because he didn't look like a potential suspect but this was Bokuto he was looking at. Some big soft guy who seemed to be too happy even for his own good. Though right now it didn't seem like it.
He looked all gloomy and his hair was down rather than up.
"Didn't you already come in here?" Atsumu asked,
"What? No and geeze what happened to you?" Bokutos eyebrows kitted with a worried look.
"Long story ya don't want to hear, now what's up big guy? Need something? Sakusa is currently taking a break so you might have to come lat-"
"Actually I was looking for you. I can't seem to find Akaashi and I'm afraid that I scared him off. Not that I didn't anything bad to him you know. He's just..."
"He's just Akaashi." Atsumu finished his sentence. He knew not to be worried about his friend because they had a talk about it not too long ago. Seeing that Akaashi still hasn't done anything he had to give him up. "I'm not so sure where he could be but Suna would absolutely know. Try looking in the library or boys bathroom though. Good luck trying to find him!" Atsumu said closing the door.
"W-wait!" He said shoving his hand in between the door and the frame.
"Do you know what I did wrong? He asked concerned.
"Ya did absolutely nothing wrong. He just a pussy hehe it comes to things he hasn’t done before. Find him and give him a big ol hug okay?" Atsumu smiled as he waved his off.
Turning back around he flashed Sakusa a smile. One that made the boy look away from his gaze.
He was still sitting on the bead eating the bread Atsumu had brought. Looking more tired than usual.
"Are you trying to finish our bread?"

Chapter 10
Walking back to the office took a bit longer than I should of. Due to him having to hide every time he saw or heard the football team. If they ever were to see him it would be game over. He needed a break from everything happening recently. Nothing seemed to be going his way. Maybe life was punishing him for being one of the finest men on earth. Whatever it was it didn't matter, he already had so much going through his head and would like to not get jumped anytime soon. He didn't think he could fight three guys five times his weight. It was also going to save him the embarrassment of losing. All he needed to focus on now is bringing his grades up since his reputation didn't seem like it was gonna go up anytime soon. Walking down the hall he realized he had made it to his destination. This hall was always empty due to it only having offices and meeting rooms for teachers. No student would dare to even skip in the part of the school unless they wanted to be caught. As he stepped forward and reached the handle he noticed it turning before he could grab it. Snatching his hand back he watched how the door opened with a tall male coming out. Black messy hair, broad shoulders, a mean glare looking down at him. It had to be Kuroo out of all people in this school. He looked straight at Atsumu as they stood there with a few seconds of silence looking at each other. He didn't know what was going through this guys mind, he always seemed to have a poker face. Kuroo had always seemed like a sketchy guy in Atsumu's eyes.
"Miya" someone said making them both turn into that direction. It was Sakusa standing behind waiting for him to come inside. "Can you hurry up and come in?" He said blankly as he walked back inside. "Erm y-a, on my way!" Atsumu said sliding past Kuroo who didn't let his eyes off of Atsumu until the door was completely shut.
He could feel how the goosebumps on his body started to fade as he sat down in his normal spot. What could of he been doing here? He didn't look injured or sick. Could he possibly be that guy from that afternoon that drugged Sakusa? He thought to himself as he began looking through the papers Akaashi had brought in. That couldn't be possible though Atsumu thought to himself. Kuroo wasnt likely do to something like that even if he did everything You could possibly name. Drinking, drugs, hookups, and many more magical things but it didn't seem right. Maybe it had to be someone else. Someone closer to Sakusa but at the same time would try to stay away from the victim. "Why so quite? Never took you as a person who would use your brain." Sakusa said sanitizing a bed next to Atsumu. Atsumu let out a heavy breath through his nose. "Anyways Sorry about that I didn't think you were going to be here while the footballs vice captain was here." Sakusa said as he typed on his computer.
"Why was he here?" Atsumu asks as he pulled his tattered chemistry book out of his bag. It looked like it been through hell and was hanging on its last string. Goes to prove how poorly funded the school was that they didn't have the money to replace textbooks.
"I was just informing him about who had to get drug tested before the next game. We are one of the top schools who are most likely to consume drugs and the county wants to make sure we are playing fair." Sakusa said as he started wiping everything down. His curly hair would bounce every time he would use pressure while wiping a certain spot. Atsumu didn't think he's ever seen such healthy looking hair in his life. His hair was sort of damaged due to the amount of times he had to dye his hair.
"Oh okay." Was all Atsumu could manage to say before starting his work. He read the sticky note that the teacher had left and groaned seeing all the chapters he had to read and the work he had to do. School truly wasn't for him. Laying comfortably on his stomach on the bed he spread his things around and began to work. He sighed heavily the second he took a look at the chemistry table. So much in one little page. What was even the point of learning this? Looking at the questioned his eyebrows kitted. Why was he looking at math equations? Isn't chemistry all about elements? Shouldn't it be asking what element you breath in? Maybe it wasn't so bad and he was overacting. Taking a good look at the first problem his head began to hurt.
2H^2(g) +O^2(g)
"What the fuck"
What was all of this supposed to mean? He wasn't a fucking chemist to figure out this bullshit. The school had the audacity to believe it's students could preform problems like these. Half of these kids don't even know their own cell number. Letting out sighs and puffs every time he attempted to solve the problem made the other boy want to walk out the door. "I hate this shit." He mumbled to himself as he looked up in frustration to meet Sakusas eyes. He looked at him worryingly probably feeling bad that he was so dumb. "You can't solve simple stuff like this?" He asked as he leaned in to take a look. "2H^2O(g)" Sakusa said quickly as he sat back in his chair.
Atsumu looked at him with his mouth open. "How?" He asked not being able to understand how he done it so fast. Then again he had to remember this guy was once in the top 10 students in the school back then. Of corse not anymore due to some undisclosed reason. "Um well they both have ^2 so you... wait why am I even telling you this? Do your work and stay quite." Sakusa snapped as he started going to his file cabinets.
"Wait no please help me, I'm failing badly and if I want to graduate, I need to pass all my classes this year." Atsumu said begging him so he wouldnt have to return to the shit school. "I don't get anything out of this so why should I? I already have to spend all day with you." He said bluntly.
"If you help me pass this semester I'll get out of yer hair quicker!" Atsumu said sitting up.
Sakusa stood there in silence trying to figure out if it was worth the hassle and apparently it was. "Fine" Sakusa crossed his arms, "but I'm only showing you two equations after that don't ask me anymore." Sakusa said as he grabbed his bag and pulled out a notebook full of papers. "I took chemistry last year and kept all my notes in one notebook because I like to keep all my subjects together." Sakusa said as he placed it In front of Atsumu.
It was a pretty thick but was really taken care of unlike Atsumu's. Stretching his hand to grab it he was smacked with a pen by Sakusa who glared at him. Rolling his eyes he rested his chin on his hands as he looked at the notebook. "Sakusa Kiyoomi" Atsumu reads out loud making him receive another smack this time on his head. "Do you hate everything I do or what?" Atsumu says.
"I don't but your starting to make me." Sakusa glares at him. It took Sakusa about twenty-five minutes to show Atsumu how it was done. Atsumu wasn't that big of idiot like other people thought. He was actually a fast learner if he really set his mind to it. That making him quickly finish up his Chem work. The rest was easy for him especially history. "I'm done Omi!" Atsumu said closing his reading book.
Sakusa looked at him with a face of disgust. "Don't ever call me that again." Sakusa said.
"We're going to spending a lot of time together. We might as well start giving nicknames and getting to know each other." Atsumu said standing up to stretch his arms in the air. Then he twisted his body groaning loudly as his back cracked. Sakusa gave him a look that seemed to say , can you be any louder? And yes he could be. Pushing his arms back he let out a moan loudly. "Fuck Omi that felt so good." Atsumu smirks.
"Your so childish, how about you go to sleep alright?" Sakusa Says as he pinched the bridge of his nose. "Ya always tell me to sleep! What am I a kid? let's just talk no? What's your favorite color?" Atsumu says as he lays back in bed.
"Your a real idiot Miya. No wonder you got into the shit your in now." Sakusa said
"Favorite color Omi." Atsumu decides to ignore Sakusas remarks.
At first he hesitated on answering not wanting to be part of Atsumus sad attempt to making conversation but he had no choice. He was right about then being stuck with each other for a while now. "Black" he replied.
"Because it's the color of Yer soul. Right? " Atsumu says in a mocking voice. Sakusa sighs heavily, "I'm going to call the football team here to take you away." He says. "Wait! I'm kidding Omi."he shakes his hands. It's been a while since Atsumu has met someone new. Actually he was surprised he'd never bumped into Sakusa in his four years of high school until now. Then again he wouldn't of met Akaashi if it weren't for him being forced to tutor Atsumu for extra credit.
"I think we will get along very well." Atsumu smirked.
"I hope we don't." Sakusa reply's back as he began opening boxes he received from the front office. Inside contained boxes of bandaids and rubbing alcohol.
Next day "Have you ever though of cleaning up after yourself?" Sakusa asks as he picks up a few candy wrappers from the floor. "Sorry they must of fell." Atsumu says quickly going to clean his mess. He had forgotten to eat breakfast this morning and ended up getting candy from the vending machines. Hoping it would fill his empty stomach. Though it didn't seem to have worked well. Lazily looking to the fridge he remembered that Sakusa always brought fruit. "Omi mind letting me have some of your fruit?" Atsumu asks heading to the fridge since he was going to eat it anyways regardless of the answer.
"Sure."
A faint nock could be heard making the boys look up to see a petite girl walk in. As Sakausa went to attend his new patient Atsumu sat down and started to eat. Picking out the fruit he deemed good enough to steal. He had many to choose from, watermelon, grapes, apples, strawberries, kiwis, and bananas. Strawberry's are Atsumu's current favorite fruit so that's what he picked out. The bright red sweet fruit was just so appealing to him. Looking up he watched how Sakusa attended the girl. He would ask her simple question like how she was feeling, if she had any symptoms, and if she's eaten. Now that he thought about it Sakusa never bothered asking him such questions, he was his patient too after all. Sakusa grabbed a thermometer from a near by drawer and proceeded to put a plastic cover over it. "Well I'm glad you don't feel bad but I'm going to still take your temperature just to make sure you don't have a fever." Sakusa said as he leaned in to place it in her mouth. Atsumu watched how she gave a small nod and began to blush like crazy. Now Atsumu had to admit she could see why she was blushing even if he wore a mask. Having a young nurse with curly hair, 6'2 feet tall, pale clear skin and a two moles on his face was pretty good looking. The only thing that ruins it is his attitude and face that could never crook a smile even if his life depended on it. Now that he was looking for imperfection he noticed how sick he looked. He had a very sickly pale skin. Maybe he's into bleaching skin?
"Hey Omi have ya seen my water bottle? Iv seen to have misplaced it." Atsumu says placing the container down and looked under the bed.
"Kinda busy Atsumu, don't you see I have a patient? Also can you go get something for us to eat?" Sakusa says annoyed as he places a pack of ice on her head because she supposedly had accidentally feel and hit her head on the floor. It's been a long morning for these boys, Atsumu would get his work done sooner than Sakusa hoped meaning the boy had nothing better to do than to bother him.
"Omi! I can't find it, it's not just a normal water bottle! It's my special one." Atsumu groans loudly clearly desperate to find his bottle. "Also this is yer fourth time asking me to go get something to eat today. It's not even lunch time yet! Cant ya wait a bit?"
"I'm going to kill this boy." Sakusa mumbled to himself as he helped his patient get up and leave the nurses office. The second he closed the door he turned around with his arms crossed. "If you don't find that flask right now I'm going to hurt you. Do you know how much trouble I'll get if anyone found that? Who even brings alcohol to school? Also did you just eat all my strawberries?" Sakusa asks as he looked inside his fruit.
"Iv been clean for days! I think I deserve a taste of it." Atsumu lets out a heavy sigh. "Also ya look like shit. Yer eyebags are worst than a certain someone I know." Continuing his search for it he decided he should look in Sakusas desk. Maybe he knew how to get him to help. Even if they just started being around each other he managed to know figure out his favorite place to eat."If you help me ill buy you bread from that corner shop you really love." Atsumu says hoping to win him over. Sakusa looked at him to make sure he was being honest.
"Well I guess I'll help, have you checked in my bag? You like to shove your stuff in there when administrators come by." Sakusa grabbed his bag from the closet and opened it to reveal the silver flask.
"Life saver!" Atsumu said as he attempts to grab it just to have Sakusa snatch his arm back refusing to give it. "Now what?" Atsumu complains. Sakusa would do this often with the things Atsumu brought. That being weed, nicotine, alcohol, and anything else harmful.
"Alcohol taste disgusting I don't know what you find so good about this." Sakusa opens the flask and takes a whiff of it. He made a sour face that clearly showed his disgust for it. "It's like apple juice to me, it even has the color of it." Atsumu smiled as he took it from the other boys hand. "Want some? " Atsumu asks tilting it water falling it into his mouth. Before he could finish it the flask Sakusa grabbed it. If Atsumu were to be honest he would say Sakusa is overreacting and being too protective.
"You do this stuff outside of school?" He asks concerned. He had an almost disappointed look on his face.
"Well yea I do but not as much as ya think." Atsumu says as he slouches in the chair. Maybe he was wrong about Sakusa needing help. He acted like if he was in a anti drug and alcohol program. The only time he had seen him on drugs was that one day. Maybe it was a one time thing. Averting his eyes to the other boy who glared at him it made him realize maybe he was the one overreacting. Everyone has done something in this school. It being drinking or taking drugs. Nobody was a saint in this school.
"When are you going to go buy bread?" Sakusa asks crossing his arms. It was a small habit of his when he wanted Atsumu to do something for him.
"It's eleven thirty Omi I'll go when it hits twelve." Atsumu said as he took out his phone to see if he had gotten any messages.
"Why are you so lazy? You never do anything but just cry about being bored and losing your shit." Sakusa said.
"Hey no need to be all aggressive, what are ya on yer period or sum?" Atsumu says jokingly but the other didn't take it that way.
"I'm so close to kicking you out Miya." He said pouring the rest of the liquid into the trash bin. "Go now, I'll even give you money." Sakusa said pulling his wallet out and handing him fifteen dollars." Atsumu raised a brow as he looked at his pale boney hand and how it shook. Most likely withdraw symptoms from what he took three days ago. He didn't say anything though and hasn't pried to get any information about the situation yet. He heard and seen how bad withdrawal symptoms were. He's seen Suna go through it various of times but of course craving get so bad to the point where you'll fight anyone for it. Maybe Sakusa needs a bit of space for now.
"No need for it, ima go buy ya that bread since I promised to buy it for ya." Atsumu said as he patted his pocket to make sure he had his wallet. Walking out he went through the schools back doors. This was the only place teachers wouldn't look for kids because lots of things happen in the back of the school. The amount of times the cops had to come because of activity back there was too much to count. When making it to a fence he looked for the cut up wire area. It was a small whole where students would crawl in to make it out of the school. Crouching down he slipped through it while making sure he didn't get his clothes caught on any loose wire. The trail from now on was a dirt road and woods. He should be exactly behind the bakery if he continued going straight.
He could remember the first time he had gotten Sakusa a baked good from there. His face light up just from seeing it. It was truly something amazing to watch. Who knew a boy like that could make such a face. It wasn't all sunshine and rainbows being there though. There were times they argued and said silly remarks to each other. It reminded him of how he and Osamu would argue but with less physical fighting. Eventually he made it to the bakery and was hit with the sweet smell of bread. It was a small store that not many people knew about. It was practically a hidden gem in their small city. Grabbing some of Sakusas favorite for example the one that looked like a croissant with chocolate filling and others they had yet to try. Atsumu wast the biggest fan of baked goods. Yea they were sweet and warm when out of the oven but he wants crazy for it. Checking out be pulled out his wallet and ended up paying $14 in total.
On his way back he found a groups of dogs walking around making him stop to pet them. Atsumu loved animals and wouldn't miss the chance to pet such cute adorable doggos. It was a funny looking group that consisted of a golden retriever and two chihuahuas. One of the smaller pups had a full on black coat. "You remind me of my friend Sakusa." He said rubbing its ear. "But yer way nicer." Going back to the office he noticed something big and red Infront of the door. It looked like some sort of sign. Getting closer he read the big bold words that said closed. Closed? What a big joke right? Sakusa must of gotten mad that he took a bit long and is probably trying to pretend he wasn't there. Luckily he knew this was going to happen at some point. Some people could not stand him and he assumed Sakusa wasn't going to be an exception so he snatched his spare key he kept hidden under a pile of paperwork.
Inserting the key into the whole he quickly opened the door to a dark room. "Hello? Anyone in here?" Atsumu announces his presence as he walks in slowly with the bag clutched to his chest. Nobody answered so he proceeded to flick the light switch on and throw the bag onto the desk next to him. It didn't take him long to see a slouching body in the corner nodding. He was suddenly hit with A sense of déjà vu from not to long ago. Once again it was Sakusa laying on the ground, eyes closed and slowly breathing. Atsumu didn't know what to spay nor what to do. He couldn't just pretend like he didn't see him like this again. Grabbing Sakusa from the ground he threw his arm around himself and carried him onto the bed. His body collapsed quickly as he let go of him. He shouldn't be worried about this right now. First he had to make sure nobody would come in. Walking to the door he locked it and turned the lights off only leaving a lamp in the corner on. Walking back to the spot he was he found his sad attempt of trying to hide the needle and spoon. Grabbing them he disposed of them correctly and made his way back to the boy. He wasn't sure if he should be disappointed or concerned. His pale skin was flushed with a light pink tint, his eyes are half way closed. He watched as his face slowly formed a small smile as he curled up.
He's seen it so many times in the city they lived in. In Sunas home and the places he decides to do business in. From the conversation he had with Suna, he knew addiction wasn't something easy to over come. Even he hasn't overcame his own addictions. Two years ago he remembered sitting behind his door as he heard Suna banging on it. Begging to be let in so he could have some. His friend and him made a deal that he would keep his drugs as he went through withdraws but it didn't end well. It hurt Atsumu too much to hear him crying and begging for it. He gave in eventually and let him in. Even if the process was painful he will make sure to not make the same mistake with Sakusa.
He may not know him as much as Suna but he was willing to help out anyone who really needed it.
He sat next to the bed watching how Sakusa nodded. He didn't know how long he had been sitting there but it must of been a while since he started coming to his senses. Leaning over him he saw as he squeezed his eyes shut before slowly opening them.
"Good mornin my favorite hypocrite." Atsumu said as Sakusas faced shifted from a tired one to a shocked one.

Chapter 9
Entering a quite class was the new usual for Atsumu now. With the rumors going around nobody wanted to talk to him. He couldn't lie it killed him knowing that everyone hated him. He felt anxious walking down the halls. Luckily he was already half way done for the day. "So how was the night as Bokuto's huh?" Atsumu's wiggled his eyebrows at Akaashi. Trying to distract himself desperately. Even though he could hear them talking behind his back he fought the urge to run away by smiling as if it didn't affect him. He couldn't handle the feeling of being watched and judged all the time. But it seemed the more he ignored it the more they spoke.
"Nothing freaky happened okay? It was just a normal night. How about you guys, got home safe?" Akaashi asks throwing his bag over his arm. His eyes darting across the hall looking for something. Atsumu took a good look at his trying to figure out if his friend was bluffing. What was even considered a normal night? "Did you guys sleep in the same bed?" Atsumu raises his brow. Akashi played with his fingered looking down at them."yea we did... you never answered my question." he confessed looking away shyly.
"Can you believe he still has the audacity to still come to school? They should just beat the living shit out of him." A girl spoke.
"Well I don't think you'll have to wait too long for that. I heard Kageyama and the football team are already planning that." Another one said.
"Of course we did." Atsumu said his hand fiddling with his house keys. The football team planning to gang up on him? Why were they even getting involved in this? Did Kageyama put them up to it or did Ushijima? He suddenly felt it harder to breath. Trying not to pay too much attention he took out his phone and looked through it. Looking for some sort of distraction to get him through his day. Scrolling through his messages he could see one was left by Suna.
Suna: where are you guys at? The football team has been following me and I'm not sure I like it.
"We have economics next do you mind if I borrow a pencil? Forgot mine at home." Akaashi says looking inside his friends locker.
"Yea use this one" he digs in his bag and pulls out a mechanical pencil. Handing it to Akaashi he could feel his cold hand touch his. His foot started bouncing up and down as he threw him bag onto his arm. Suddenly his vision started going dark he grabbed onto the door of the locker slowly lowering himself to the ground. What was going on? He could feel the plams of his hands begin to sweat, his breathing became faster and a feeling of dread overcame him. Was was this feeling of panic?
"Atsumu are you okay? Your face is so flushed right now." Akaashi said kneeling down grabbing Atsumu's hand that was unconsciously gripping his hoodie.
"Are you having a panic attack? How long have you been feeling this way?" Akaashi said quickly grabbing Atsumu by the hand. Closing the locker he took him to the only place he could calm down. The nurses office. Last thing he needed was to draw attention towards them.
He didn't want to come back there since Sakusa was already on his tail. He knew something wasn't right and the last thing Akaashi wanted was him to figure it out. He didn't have a choice right now though. Slamming the door open he startled Sakusa who seemed to be putting something away.
He looked at the two of you in shock for a second until it turned into a face of disgust.
"Sakusa please, he's having a panic attack." Akaashi said as he put Atsumu on the bed. "I don't know what to do!" He's never been in this kind of situation before other than the time he received a 70 in math class five years ago.
"Hey Tsumu I really didnt want to use these but here." Akaashi said opening his bag and taking out a pill bottle. Uncapping it he poured a pill onto Atsumu's hand. "It's uh a pill, the same one he gave you when you had your first break down." Atsumu looked at it panicked not being able to move or comprehend anything his friend was saying. His grind began to make hand signs indicating him to swollen it.
Sakusa quickly stepped in and put his hands on Atsumu's face. Making the blonde look at him in the eyes. His vision was kind of out of it but could easily tell it was Sakusa. What other idiot would wear a mask these days? "Listen Miya your having a panic attack okay? I need you to take deep breaths. Everything is going to be okay. Breath in for me, and breath out slowly." Sakusa said trying to make sure the boy understand. Reading the nurses lips was easy seeing how he slowly said the words. All he could do was nod with tears falling down his face. He couldn't really think straight for some reason but did as told. Taking shaky breaths in and out. The look in Sakusas face was serious yet calming at the same time. Which is quite surprising due to him looking just like last time he saw him. He looked absolutely exhausted and ruined.
"Focus on my finger Miya." He says as his gloves finger moves side to side. For some odd reason he felt quite relaxed having his face being helped by the nurse. Did they give him some sort of drug relaxer? "Good job how about you close your eyes. Get some rest while me and your friend talk okay?"
Leaving Atsumu to rest the two other boys walk to the other side to talk.
"What was the trigger to his panic attack?" Sakusas asks pulling a notepad from his pocket.
"Trigger? Well it could be because of all the people talking. Possibly the spreading of the rumor could be getting to him too." Akaashi admits.
"Rumor? What rumor?" Sakusa tilts his head.
"Oh you haven't heard? That's surprising to hear honestly but anyways it's about him molesting someone." Akaashi says looking at his friend who rested.
"Molested? Did he actually do that?" Sakusa said shocked.
"Of course he didn't Atsumu wouldn't even think of doing such a thing. Someone created a lie and now it's spreading like wild fire. We cant really control the situation without proof though."
"I see... I think he should stay here from now on. If not this could happen again. So go bring all his work for the day and I'll collect the rest tomorrow. As much as I hate to see him all day it's the best thing we can do." Sakusa sighs.
"Thank you for understanding Sakusa. If you don't mind ima head to class. I'll bring all his work and some lunch for him later. Please take good care of him." Akaashi said as he headed out.
Turning his attention back to his patient he walked towards him looking at him sleep soundly. His forehead glistened with beads of sweat and his lips pursed. Placing a cold cloth on his forehead he proceeded to go back to his work until he noticed Atsumu had something in his fist. Opening it slowly to not wake him up he takes a good look to see It was a pill. It didn't seem to be the same size of a typical pain killer. This one looked quite different. Maybe it's something he should examine on his free time. Reaching to grab it from the boys palm his fist shuts quickly startling Sakusa.
"Has your mom ever told you not to touch what isn't yours?" Atsumu smirks as he shifted from where he laid.
"You surprise me on how your attitude changes as soon as you get over a panic attack. Has your mom ever told you to listen to what the nurses tells you? I told you to sleep Miya." Sakusa rolls his eyes as he grabbed Atsumu's arm and pries his fist open.
"Hey! Leave me arm alone. I don't remember giving you permission to touch me like this." Atsumu argues pulling his arm back. "Why do you even want it so bad huh? Are you a drug addict or something? Do you want it that bad that you'll get on your knees for it too?" Atsumu yells. The second it came out his mouth he regretted it. Sakusa froze with a shocked look on his face. He looked hurt but at this same time angry. Maybe he was sensitive to this topic. "I- I was just kidding. I know you wouldn't do that...your a nurse after all right?" Atsumu let out a awkward laugh.
"Right...Listen I'm not going to fight with you so why don't you hand over the drug before I report you to the higher ups." Sakusa releases Atsumu causing him to fall backwards. He scrambled up to his feet and glared at the pale boy. "Doing drugs like that isn't worth risking your health. Trust me I'm trying to help you here. It's not easy to recover from addiction." Sakusa said. He had a look at his face that made Astumu feel like he was being quite serious. As if he was saying that because he actually related to it. Well of course he did it's not like Atsumu saw him drugged on the floor not too long ago.
You could see Atsumu's mouth open for a second before closing it again. Hesitating on what was the right move to do now. He looked at how Sakusa extended his hand out slowly. Atsumu knew he wasn't crazy for drugs but he didn't trust the boy In front on him. It should be Atsumu that reports Sakusa to the higher up. "Fine" he mumbled taking a few steps forward and dropping the pill into his hand. Anything to gain his trust.
"What are you looking at?" Atsumu asks shifting himself back into the bed.
"Nothing...thanks for complying." Sakusa said putting the substance into his pocket. Looking at Sakusa Atsumu could see a faint mark of the slap he revived yesterday. "Say what happened to your face?" Atsumu questioned.
"That's none of your concern Miya, why don't you get some rest no?" Sakusa reply's turning his attention back onto the computer screen. He looked like he had no interest in talking with Atsumu at all. Maybe he wasn't much of a talker.
"I got into a fight not too long ago. It was the day after I first came and saw you!" Atsumu said hoping he could get him to relate to something.
"I don't remember asking but yes I saw you all bruised up. That was from a fight? You should refrain from getting into them if you can't handle them." Sakusa says not looking at him.
"What?! I can't totally fight! I was just drunk and accidentally tried to make moves on someone's boyfriend. I didn't know they were dating of course. Anyways I ended up loosing badly because of it and im supposedly a molester even though I clearly remember the guy making moves on me." Atsumu says.
"Well how about not going to party's anymore. Stay home and relax and try to let the situation cool down from now on." Sakusa advices. "Speaking of stupid stuff how long have you been doing drugs Miya?"
"Drugs? To be honest it's quite rare, I tend to do them if it's something basic but I'm not addicted or anything. Why do ya do them?" Atsumu says the last part eagerly. Getting up to get into Sakusas personal space.
"I see that Akaashi tried giving you some sort of drug during your panic attack. Mind telling me what it is? Don't worry I won't tell anyone I'm just curious on what it is." Sakusa said pushing him back trying to get away from him. His dark eyes looking into his.
"It should be amphetamines if I remember right. They gave it to me when I was a mess the day after the situation. Can I have it back?" Atsumu asks.
"As a nurse who is supposed to care for your health so no. Drugs are bad for you, like I said they can really mess you up and lead to addiction." Sakusa says refusing to give it to him.
"Right..." Atsumu says seeing how much of a hypocrite his nurse was. Maybe he had to get it out of him. Like tricking him into admiring he does. "Sakusa do ya have a deep dark secret?" Atsumu's tries a final attempt.
"What are we children to be having this conversation?" The pale mole boy looked at him confused. His eyebrow kitted as he looked at Atsumu up and down. Before the boy could respond the door was opened by Akaashi who had a bag of take out and paper work in his hands. "Brought your things sumu, Suna is waiting for you so we can eat together I just came to drop some stuff off. We even brought you something Sakusa." Akaashi said placing the bag down.
"Thanks." He said looking down at it unamused.
Akaashi quickly snatched Atsumu's arm and dragged him out. Not giving him a second to protest about eating out.
"Kash I was kind of in the middle of something... hey where are we even going?" Atsumu asks seeing they wernt going towards the cafeteria. Insted they went outside behind the school. Looking at the back of his friends head he noticed the tip of his ears turning a bright red. Maybe he should wait to figure out what was going on.
Eventually he was taken to a table in the back that had a tree that covered them with shade. Suna sat there lighting up a cigarette in his mouth. Taking a seat next the Akaashi he finally decided to ask again.
"So? Spill what's got you all nervous?" Atsumu asks as he started taking out food from the to go bag.
Akaashi looks at both the boys and looks away shyly. "I lied... we didn't just do nothing last night.I basically now have a significant other!" Akaashi says burying his face into his hands. "It's too embarrassing! I can't even think about him without turning like this!" He looks up at them to see Sunas shocked face. "Akaashi this is totally out of the blue." Atsumu rolls his eyes as he took a sip of his drink. "Well arnt you going to describe what happened?" Suna asks.
"I know, I know! I wasn't thinking straight, I was intoxicated and I'm done for". Akaashi sighs heavily "Do I really have to? It's kind of embarrassing but with the looks you are giving me I don't think I have a choice... anyways Yes, the walk back to his house was normal. We spoke about grades and class work until we got to his house."

"Are you hungry? I don't have much to offer other than instant Raman." Bokuto says as he unlocked the door to his apartment. It was a four story building and Bokuto lived on the third floor. It had a few lights to lighten the place up but even so it looked sketchy.
"I'm fine with whatever you have to offer. Let's just hurry up and go in before we get sick. It seems like the weather isn't getting any nicer these days." Akaashi says tightening the strings from his hood up.
As they enter Akaashi noticed a few things immediately like how it was a mess. Clothes thrown everywhere, beer cans piled in a corner, his football gear all over his bed and the trash can that was overflowing begging to be taken out. "What a nice place you have." Akaashi said with a awkward smile.
"Yea right, it's a total pig pen but I haven't had time to clean so sorry about that. Maybe with you here it will encourage me to get this place sparkling." Bokuto laughs as he began picking up a few pieces of clothes from the floor. Not wanting to be no help he started picking up clothes too. He ended up finding many things along the way. Old homework, hair spray cans, posters of half naked woman and a pack of condoms. The second he pulled it out from behind the nightstand. He could feel how his cheeks began to warm up. "Ah so there's where it went! These should be expired by now though." He said taking the pack from Akaashi. It didn't take long before the whole apartment was clean.
While Bokuto made some instant ramen Akaashi sorted out his school essentials. It something he hated with a passion. Seeing a messy book bag and homework crumbled up. Him organizing it was like therapy to him. Now that he thought about it was it wrong of him to ditch his friends suddenly? From all he knew they could of gotten caught. He didn't even have a way to check up on them. He had forgotten his phone back home and it was going to be unsafe to go back. Maybe if he asked Bokuto for his phone he could text them. Placing all his stuff back he stood up and walked to the kitchen. Walking their he could see all his picture frames up with him and his family. "By the way where's your family?" Akaashi asks taking a seat at the breakfast bar.
"Their out traveling to Europe. I couldn't go due to football season but I don't mind." Bokuto says while putting out two red bowls. He looked cheerful as always. It seemed nothing could wipe that smile away. Pouring the ramen from the pot into the bowls Akaashi could see something he hasn't quite noticed. How big his arms were, the shirt he was wearing was practically begging to be ripped at that point. It was so tight on him that his muscles that the fabric was stretching and it made Akaashi feel some sort of way. "want a can of beer?" He offers.
"Kind of bad with holding my alcohol. You should know that by now Bokuto." Akaashi said remembering what happened at the party.
"Yea yea but it's just you and me! Let loose a bit okay? Here it takes a couple before they really start hitting." Bokuto cracks one open and slides it towards him. Grabbing the cold can Akaashi brings it up to his face and takes a sip. It wasn't as bad at the liquor at Aara's party. A few minutes later they were done eating and cracking open more cans. At this point Akaashi was somewhat drunk. Bokuto on the other hand was feeling normal. The tv played as they sat in silence.
"Akaashi now that we're alone I was wondering did you kiss me because you had to or do you like guys?" Bokuto asks.
Akaashi snapped his head to look at him stunned.
"I-Uhh I thought you were Sumu... it was totally on accident."
"I see so you don't like guys." He said looking back at the tv that had football playing.
"I do like guys, I'm gay." Akaashi said resting his head onto the couches arm. Bokuto was quick to react. He had a smile on his face that made Akaashi believe he also was queer. "I'm bisexual, that's kinda crazy I didn't know you were gay. The only people I know are Hinata, Kageyama and Atsumu!" Bokuto said.
"Your bi? But you don't act or look like it." Akaashi blinked cluelessly.
"You shouldn't stereotype kashi! But yes I'm the only one in the football team. Also I flirt with guys but I guess it's not noticeable. I'm guessing you haven't noticed my flirting." Bokuto sighs as he slouched into the couch.
Akaashi quickly perked up with his cheeks turning a light hue of pink. "Me?!" He points at himself surprised.
Bokuto smiled as he stood up approaching Akaashi who sat on the other side of the big couch. "Yea I'm not this nice just to anyone." He said leaning towards Akaashi making him feel cornered. So many thoughts ran through Akaashi's head as he tried to processes the situation. He was currently being cornered at the edge of the couch by his crush. he didn't hate it actually but instead felt embarrassed? Flustered? He felt tipsy but not enough to make bad decisions. At least he hoped that was the case. He didn't want to ruin the moment by pushing him away but he also didn't know how to react. "Your different than any other person I met. Your more down to earth and know your priorities. You don't treat me like a dumb guy who just plays football." Bokuto said.
"I don't understand." Akaashi said looking into his eyes for answers.
"I like you silly." He said as he leaned in slowly making probably go make sure to see if Akaashi really wanted this. As his face got more near to this he figured he wasn't quite ready for this yet. So instead he went on for a tight hug making the taller boy fall onto him. He didn't mind his weight but something he did was the fact the Bokuto was unknowingly rubbing his knee onto his groin. Letting go of his brace he attempted to scoot back but failed to due to not having any space left. Bokuto noticed his sudden reaction and backed up a bit. "Sorry I didn't even ask if you felt the same way." He looked down with a sadden expression. This was Akaashi's first time seeing him like this, usually you saw his smiling and yelling but not he just looked like a sad puppy. "I do!" He said immediately.
That answer made his face light up, "do ya really? You don't know how happy this makes me but don't you think it's a bit too soon?" Bokuto asks.
"I'm not even sure... never been in a relationship." Akaashi admits as he closes his legs to hide his fellow friend. "I'm ready to date but I'm not trying to rush you." Bokuto says sitting back down.
Akaashi knew the best choice here was to wait and see if they were compatible enough to stay together. Something in him though was telling him to throw that out the window. You only live once and he should stop being so anxious about things. "Let's date then." Akaashi said.
___________________________
"You definitely exaggerated over something so small. This is your crush Akaashi, don't ruin it now by hiding from him. I want you to go meet him at his locker later. Say hey or give me a ride home and don't come looking for us until you've done that." Atsumu crosses his arms
This whole story was definitely something out of a movie but their was nothing better he could do in this situation.
Suna let out a small chuckle as he grabbed their trash and threw it into the bin.
"I- fine I guess your right" Akaashi mumbled.
"Now if you excuse me I'm going back to the nurses office also known as my new crib." Atsumu smirked as he started walking away.
"Nobody is Sane at this point." Suna looked at both of the boy as they left.

Chapter 8
Suna sat in a bean bag chair while Akaashi fanned Atsumu who laid on his bed. The boy had ran all the way to his house trying to loose the football team off his tail. He ended up making it 40 minutes after they got there.
After a few minutes Suna broke the silence. "I never got to ask about you and Bokuto. What's going on their huh?" He looked at Akaashi amused on how his cheeks began to brighten up.
"We are just friends... no even considering us friends is too much. We just talk when we see each other. He smiles to himself.
"Someone's has a crush." Suna tits his head to the side too look at Atsumu. The boy laid their sprawled on the bed as he looked at the ceiling.
"What about you dumb ass? What are you going to do to fix your situation?"
The blonde sat up and glared at him. "I don't know yet, i could let it die down or maybe I could do something about it." Atsumu said pulling his phone. "I'm going to call my mom." He said before walking out the hall.
That leaving the other two boys alone. Akaashi laid down on his bed looking at Suna. " you know it's not going to die down. People thrive off of drama. They will keep bringing it up to mess with him. The only thing he can do is prove himself." Akaashi said.
"And how do you expect for that to happen? Theirs no proof unless Hinata comes clean." Suna said unzipping his bag. Quickly he took out a small bottle of pills. Throwing them to Akaashi who caught them.
He looked at them confused. Why did he just hand him this? Looking back to his friend for the reason.
"Something tells me it's not going to be a fun school year. It's for you and Atsumu. It's the same thing I gave him. You saw how relaxed he was no? If you ever feel the need to take one don't hesitate. If your scared to do it alone come by and I'll watch you." Suna said putting his bag next to him.
Soon Atsumu came back in and sat in Akaashi's computer chair. "Hey Kash can I ask you something?" Atsumu asks looking down at his feet.
"Shoot." He says indicating him to asks.
"The boy that took care of me in the nursing office. Do you know anything about him?" He ask.
"Ha! Don't tell me my boy Atsumu also has a crush on a boy!" Suna laughed approaching him to put his arm around his neck. "Our adorable Atsumu has finally moved on! He finally opened your eyes!" Suna said as he tried to playfully kiss Astumu as a joke.
The boy shoved him away before he could make any contact. "No that's not it. I saw something we-" he stopped himself. He looked at a box of band aids that sat on Akaashi's shelf.
"You saw?" Akaashi questioned.
"I-" He looked at them panicked. He looked like he wanted to blurt something out but someone or something was stopping him.
"You can tell us anything Atsumu, we are here to help. We won't tell anyone if that's what your afraid of."
He placed his hand and the boys leg. He stared at it long and hard before opening his mouth.
"I just think he might be in trouble.
I don't want to assume anything though. Do you know anything about him so I can see if he needs help. I saw something I should of and it's just killing me." Atsumu confessed.
Akaashi and Suna looked at him wide eye. " you can't be getting into other peoples business. You already have a problem of your own." Sunas said crossing his arms.
"I know, I know but something in me feels the need to help. I don't know what it is." Atsumu said looking at Akaashi with eyes filled of concern.
"I remember seeing his name a lot freshman year through junior. He was in the top student top five. Specifically he was the second, Ushijima being first and me third.
Suddenly senior year he's went so far down the list. He should be around number 185 at this point." He looked at Atsumu to see if he was pleased with his response.
"That's all you know huh?" Atsumu Says slouching in the chair.
"Unfortunately yea but maybe Suna could be of help." Akaashi says looking at the boy who was looking through Akaashi's school bag.
"Hey I forgot my wraps at home, do you perhaps have any note book paper you won't use?" Suna asks taking out the first notebook.
"What is Suna going to know? He just knows about drugs! That's not going to be useful for my cas-" he stopped talking and averted his eyes slowly back to his friend. "Sayyy do you know what type of drugs can be injected?" Atsumu asks.
Suna looks up from what he was doing. "Amphetamines, buprenorphine, benzodiazepines, barbiturates, heroin, cocaine, and methamphetamine." He took a bag of weed from his pocket and started rolling them up. His shaky finger being careful to make it perfect.
"I don't care if you do other things in my house but how about you smoke outside no? The smell is going to be stuck in this house for days!" Akaashi says opening his balcony doors. Suna groans kicking his shoes off. "Kash that's not fair, you know I can't be seen right now. I'll get a bullet shot right in between my eyes." Suns says slowly putting his finger there. Akaashi knew that Suna only called him that when he wanted something his way. "I know you have more stuff in their." Akaashi says closing the door back up.
Suna sighs opening his bag again and pouring out everything from it. Three big zip lock bags fell out. One had a bunch of pill bottles, the other having marijuana and the third had glass bottles with liquid. "You brought your whole stick huh?" Atsumu's laughs as he sat next to Suna to see what he was going to pull out next.
"Yea kinda needed too so they wouldn't break in and steal all
My goods. I also had to bring my money." Suna says opening another pocket. Pulling out stacks of money.
"Say do you guys want to have some fun?" Suna says raising a brow. Taking out a bottle from the bag and shakes it. The rattling noise of the pulls echoing in the room.
"Their pretty strong. It's going to have us tripping for hours but it will be fun!" Suna says.
"No thanks I don't do that." Akaashi says standing up to get on his computer. He didn't want want to be apart of their shenanigans. Nor did he want to apply for a job and forget the drugs were still in his system while he peed in a cup. He still had homework to do anyways. He'll just take care of them like he always did. He was the mature one after all.
"Alright Atsumu I'm gonna give you this pill for free. No charges unless you have a panic attack. I'll charge you for having to take care of you." He says putting a pill onto Atsumu's palm ."Now I know you don't do drugs often but this is easy okay? Just relax and don't freak out." Suna brings the pill to his mouth and slowly swallows it. Atsumu soon doing the same.
Akaashi rolled his eyes. He didn't know how these idiots could do such a thing. Just to fuck up their system for a euphoric feeling. As he continued to woke he could heard both of the boys laughing and mumbling. Not really saying anything that made sense. Turing around he saw them don't laying down with happy smiles on their faces. Something he didn't see so often from them. If he has to be quite honest last time he saw something like that was when they were younger.
What happens to us? Was the only thing they could think. He remembered how everyone had these hopes and dreams of what they would become on the future. Instead everything went down hill. Other than Suna's hopes for having all the girls. He didn't have all of them but he had enough. What went wrong on their lives?
Now that he though about it he knew exactly what went wrong for him. His father used to be in a gang and he would murder people. Coming back home smelling odd or with an odd amount of money. He used to make so much income from it. Even gave him $100 for his daily allowance. One day the police discovered his identity due to a bystander describing him. They had seen him shoot a couple in a park because they didn't pay the full amount for the drugs. Police came to his house that night. Surround the whole area. The barged in and took him out. Akaashi never cried so hard in his life. Clinging onto his mom thinking they were going to hurt of his father. At the end of the day he lied to them about his job. He watched how he was arrested in front of his house. How his mom began to struggle financially. How she worked long and hard hours to make enough money for the both of them. Having no support from anyone. Soon after that she developed a drinking problem. After that day he swore to be the best son he could be. To not be a burden to his mother. To get into a good college and make enough to support the two of them.
Hopefully that was a dream that would not dissolve like the others...
After an hour he finished his work. He looked at the time on his computer, 9:30. He wasn't tired just yet but his friends looked drained. Could it be withdraws? Or was it too early for that? To be fair Akaashi didn't know much about that. Walking around them he headed to the kitchen. He did promise to make them dinner.
He walked to the cabinets and began pulling things out to make past. Since his mom was almost never home he had to learn how to cook. Unless he wanted to starve of course. As he started to open the box of pasta he could hear the faint sound of foot steps. Which was something odd. He didn't live in apartment and the houses were spaced out pretty well. Slowly he approached the door. He could feel his heart begin to race. Nobody could possibly be breaking in right now right? He placed his face near the peephole. Looking through he couldn't see anything but darkness. He hums in thought wondering if it was just his imagination. Until the back kitchen door handle began to jingle. He froze not knowing what to do. He didn't have any kind of in the house. Not even a baseball bat. He cursed himself for not picking up any sports.
He's quickly ran upstairs slamming the door open. "We have to go right now." Akaashi said grabbing his bag and shoving his valuables in their.
"What's going on?"
Suna asks rubbing his eyes.
"S-someone's trying to break in! I don't know who it is though but I'm definitely not staying to find out." Akaashi slipped his shoes on.
The other two friends looked at each other and began to scramble around. "Ain't no way the foot ball team found out it was me!" Atsumu groaned helping Suna shove the bags of drugs in his bag.
"I doubt it was them. People probably saw my car out there and figured it was me. We have to run if you don't want to get caught. "Suna pulled his hood up before opening the balcony doors. "Let's go." He said. Atsumu ran behind Akaashi pushing him to the exit. Suna jumped down first trying to be quite as possible. Then Atsumu he groaned loudly as he landed weirdly. Now it was Akaashi's turn. As he started putting his leg up but then heard the kitchen door bust open. He jolted at the sudden sound. "Look for him in every inch of this house." He heard someone yell. Quickly he ran back and closed the balcony doors so they would assume nobody was home. Running back he didn't waste any time. With one swift motion he jumped down praying that his friends had the kindness to catch him and they did.
He ended up behind caught by Atsumu. He went to the gym time by time. Which was more than Suna so he was thankful that Atsumu was the one to catch him. Hopping off Akaashi fit his bag well. Suna walked ahead under a tree to look around. It was quite dark so they could see much. "We are going to have to run. If I take my car they'll definitely know it's me." Suna says.
"And where exactly are we going?" Atsumu crosses his arms.
"Your house duh mine and Akaashi's is out of the question." Suna exhales heavily.
"Let's go to the gas station real quick I want to get snacks. I'm hungry and theirs nothing at home." Atsumu grand grabbing his stomach.
A loud crash could be heard in the house. "Yea whatever let's just go!" Suna yells as quite as he could.
As they began walking down the street a loud bang was heard. They all slowly turn around they see people coming out the house. Akaashi winces knowing they were in trouble. "That's him! Get them!" One yells pointing at them.
And that's how their wild night started.
Running down the street their loud steps could be heard echoing. They passed cars who looked at the pair of teens like crazy. Why were teens running with such terrified facial expressions? Well currently they were being chased by people that could hurt them. It isn't something to smile about honestly. At least not for Akaashi. Looking back he could see them still behind them. It was a group of five men chasing them. If they end up getting caught theirs no way they would be able to fight back.
"I so hate you Suna! Why am I running away away from druggies that I don't know!" Akaashi ran his hand through his hair in desperation. "M' sorry, I didn't think they would find me so easily." Suna panted as he looks at him with a apologetic look. "How are we even going to loose them?" Akaashi yelled at his friends. The adrenaline in his body kept him running. If it weren't for that he would of stopped a while ago. His feet felt like they were burning. Every step causing the back of his heels pain. He looked to Atsumu's direction to see he had this wild smile on his face. He looked so full of energy and for some reason too happy. "I'm not sure but this is so fucking funny. Suna dragging us into his shit. Having us run away from a group of people that want to kill him and probably us too." Atsumu laughed looking up into the night sky. The air hitting his long strands.
"Atsumu how the fuck is that funny?" Akaashi protested. He was scared for his life unlike these two idiots. "I could be sleeping right now! Studying! Eating! Or even better not being chased at all!" Akaashi said stressfully.
"If I stop running and they grab me what do you think they'll do to me?" Akaashi asks Suna.
"Kill your, hold you as hostage, sell you, beat you, theirs so many options they'll probably do all Of them. They currently hate my guts right now so don't expect any kindness." Suna said pulling something out of his bag. Atsumu looks at Sunas hand to see it was fireworks. "Should I even ask?" Atsumu questions.
"How about you guys save your breath no?" Suna says glaring at them.
He took a lighter out of his pocket. Opening the top metal part to light it. A took a couple of tries until it lit. He slowly brought the fire to the firework. A spark appeared as it quickly ran down the string. Suna stopped and turned around to throw it towards the guys direction. The second it hit the floor it started going off. "Take that you pieces of shit! " Suna yelled laughing as they started running back not wanting to get burned. They stopped running seeing how the fires sparked. "I have more so don't come near me!" Suna says throwing the lighter at Akaashi.
"Do you really have more?" Atsumu asks.
"Hell na." Suna says shoving his hands in his pocket.
They stay silent until Akaashi broke into laughter. He didn't know why but he found it funny. Maybe Atsumu was right. It was a funny sitting. His laughter stopped as soon as the fire work did. "Your fucking dead Suna!" A guy with curly hair said taking out a pocket knife out of his leather jacket.
"I think we should start running again." Suna said as he began to run.
He had to be kidding right? Why did it have to be this way? He wasn't fit enough to keep running. He was on the verge of just giving up
"I can't keep running guys!" Akaashi said slowing down after running for who knows how long. His legs began to shake. At this point feeling like he was dragging himself. His chest was hurting and he was breathing heavily. He was about to drop or even worst pass out. He felt as Atsumu grabbed him by the hand Making him run. It was hard keeping up with his friend but he did.
Suna whistled at Atsumu and pointed at a near by gates park. It had a tall fence and a bunch of trees. Making it quite dark except for those few light post. As they ran behind a car they took a small break. They where at a pretty empty parking lot other than these two cars that where here. But they couldn't stay here forever. They would be found immediately.
Suna was the first one to run up to the gate. Jumping onto it getting a good grip. Climbing all the way up to the top and dropping down. It seemed as if it was normal to him. Having no problem at all with any of his movements. The Atsumu was next, him being the energetic one also jumped over easily. With his hair flying in the wind. Lastly Akaashi was left panicking. He had climbed fences before but this one was taller than others. He didn't have time to waste to just be think about it. He backed up a bit to give himself a running head start. He could hear as the people came closer. On the cont of three he ran jumping onto the fence. He clinging onto it tightly as he began to climb. Eventually making it to the top he looked down to see the people arrived. He cursed himself for not being more athletic. The people below started cruising him out as they shook the fence violently. Akaashi gasped as he lost his balance falling onto the park side. He groaned as he quickly got up and started running. As he did the people behind his started climbing.
Suna and Atsumu were no where to be seen. They must of ran off to hide somewhere. As Akaashi ran he could saw people walking in the park. It must of still been open meaning he could act as a bystander. Whatever his plan was he needed to act now because his legs couldn't keep running like this. Looking to his right he could see someone sitting in a bench with their hood up. By the looks of it was Atsumu pretending to be someone visiting the park. Akaashi runs to him grabbing the boy from the strings of his hoodie. "Their chasing me! Kiss me so they think we're a couple kissing." Akaashi said panting trying to catch his breath. Even if it was dark and he couldn't see his face Atsumu looked stunned by the sudden demand. Akaashi didn't waste any time. He smashed his lips with the boy who towered over him. He grabbed Atsumu's hand and lead it to his waist to make it more believable. He heard as the group of men walked past them ticked off. "Fuck we lost them" one of the said as they threw his pocket knife into the water fountain behind him.
"Excuse me have you happen to see a couple of teens running in the park?" One of them asked. Akaashi quickly snapped his head in the opposite direction so they wouldn't see his face. They were dead now, their was no escaping this. He gripped Atsumu's body tightly scared.
"No I haven't they are probably on the other side since Iv only walked here." The stranger said.
The people soon left making Akaashi detach himself. "Thanks I thought I was dead their."
He averted his eyes into the darkness of the park. He heard a bush moving around near by. Turing his gaze to look at it he saw it was someone there. Looking harder he recognize that blonde hair. Suna was also behind his so If Atsumu was there who was he holding onto...
The boy pulled his hoodie down to reveal Bokuto. "No problem why were they chasing you?" Bokuto asked Akaashi as he walked to the bench next to him grabbing his bag.
"I Uhh... Suna had some beef with them and I wound up getting into it too." Akaashi said shamefully. He looked down to the ground bringing his left hand to grab his right elbow. "I'm sorry I kissed you..." Akaashi stutters jumbling his words together.
"It's fine as long as it helped you escape those crazy guys. " Bokuto laughed looking away.
"What are you doing out so late anyways?" Akaashi asks not wanting to make any awkward silence happen.
"Just out for a jog, nothing suspicious if that's what you're wondering." He said picking up a water bottle he had next to him.
Akaashi could feel his heart pounding violently. He could almost hear it too. This was absolutely great! Kissing your crush on accident and now standing here like a idiot. He can't even think of anything to say.
"Hey I see that you're alone, want to come over don't want you getting hurt from those bad guys." Bokuto asks looking around to see if they were coming back.
Akaashi was starstruck. "Yes please," he said in a almost trans state.
He could hear some giggling from the bush across from them snapping him out. Rolling his eyes he grabbed Bokuto's water bottle and chucked it into the bush. "Fuck" one of them groaned in pain.
Turning around he was met with a puzzled look from Bokuto.
"I could of sworn I heard a raccoon in that bush. Theirs been many raccoon attacks lately." He lied horribly.

Chapter 7
The class fell silent as soon as the two boys stepped inside. A whole room of twenty students and nobody dared to make a peep. Everyone watched as they walked to their seats. Their eyes moving as they did. Even the teacher looked at Atsumu disgusted. It felt like the whole world was against him excepts for his friends and brother. Osamu, He even wondered what would his brother do in his situation. He was more calm and collected in situations. Would of never gotten to a situation like this actually. If Osamu was here he wouldn't here a end to it. He was lucky he decided to follow his dreams of opening a onigiri shop. Instead of normal school he was sent to a culinary school. Maybe he should of followed his brother footsteps.
"Today we are learning about stocks in economics." The teacher said snapping Atsumu out of thought.
"It's something you may use in the future or not. We all decide what we want to do with our lives. It could be like Akaashi who does his best every day and has the most likely outcome of living a great future. Then theirs other people who don't." She looks at Atsumu clearly indicating his as an example. Walking around the class she handed out sheets of paper with todays assignment.
Something told him this was just the beginning.
After class the boys walked out to find Suna waiting by their lockers.
He looked like he had a rough day.
His hair was messy, eyes red and he wore baggy clothes. "What's up Suna?" Atsumu asks approaching him.
"Can you guys let me crash at your place? Mine really isn't safe." Suna says waiting for one of them too agree.
"My mom has night shift so come on by. I'll make dinner to make up for not coming last time." Akaashi says putting his books in his locker.
"I'll come over too, we haven't had a sleep over in a while." Atsumu laughs throwing his books in his locker. "Let me just text my ma." Atsumu adds as he patted his pocket for his phone. Not feeling it he frantically looks for it. Shoving his hand in every pocket he had. But didn't find it. "It seems I lost my phone... it's probably in the nurses office. I'll be back. Don't leave without me ass holes." Atsumu said as he began running to the direction. Hopefully they wernt closed yet. They always closed early for who knows what reason. Like what if someone had a horrible paper cut during dismissal?
Sadly when he got there their was a big closed sign that hanged on the door. Atsumu exhaled in frustration but something so simple wasn't going to stop him. He had lost and broken too many phones in his high school years. He was definitely not going to add another one to the count. Before busting the door open he decided to check if it was unlocked to save him the energy. Work smarter not harder. Pushing the handle down it opened with a creek. Inside it was dark, he could feel a gush of cold air hit him immediately. Stepping inside he quickly closed the door before he was caught. Turning around the only thing he could see was a few things due to the blue light that came from the computer screen. Atsumu quickly went to work. Looking around the bed he was in. He looked in every nook and cranny their was. Yet he couldn't find it. Maybe the nurse had found it and placed it in his desk.
Looking behind stacks of papers and anywhere in the top of the desk. Still nothing but he did find paper work of the football teams health and conditions. He would take a peek just to be nosey but he needed to not get distracted. Quickly he opened drawers of the desk one by one. Looking through everything until he reached the third drawer where he finally found it. Yes it was dark and hard to see but the only reason he recognized it was because it had a volleyball key chain that Hinata had given his back in the day when they used to play. Soon high school came and well most of the parted ways.
Holding the phone in his hand for a bit he finally kicked the drawer closed. A loud groan could be heard right after the loud slam of the drawer. Atsumu's eyes widen slowly as he looked for the source to that sound. Scanning the area he found someone sitting of the floor in a corner. For Atsumu this was something you would see in the horror movies. Learning from them he knew not to approach something like that and run away. But curiosity made his approach him anyways. Turing his phone flash on too see better. Getting closer he soon realized who it was.
Sakusa sat in the corner squinting his eyes from the bright light. "Um are you okay?" Atsumu asks.
He didn't respond to him. He looked a mess sitting there with messy hair, wrinkled clothes. He looked very disoriented and had a flushed face. He could hear how Sakusa took slow breaths. He also seemed to be in a tranced like state. Now he wasn't a fool to not know he was on drugs. He's seen it so many times before because of Suna. He might not even remember seeing Atsumu depending on what he took.
Atsumu quickly put his hand on the left side of Sakusas face and turned it. Placing two fingers on his neck to check his heartbeat. He had done this hundreds of times every time Suna tried a new hard core drug. Thankfully his heart was normal beating slowly as it should under the influence of drugs. He suddenly felt Sakusa rubbing his face onto his hand. He could feel the soft warm skin touch him. Now that he took a good look at him he looked different. Maybe because this was his first time seeing him without his mask. He had a slim, pale face, his jawline chiseled and dark eye bags to add a finishing touch.
"I don't think it's safe getting like this on your own. You need supervision when it's hard core stuff." Atsumu says even though he knows he's not really listening. Atsumu looks around his body looking to see how he took the drug. Some people inhale it or inject it. By the looks of it been injected. Now Atsumu had been around tons of drug addicts. Suna sometimes makes him go to drop off's and he would see people with crazy infections where they usually insert needles. He would hate to see the person who took care of him today get hurt.
He turned his phone on to look at the time. It was currently 2:30 and he needed to leave soon. Quickly grabbing a first aid kit on the wall he placed it on the floor and opened it. Then he propped his phone up with the flash facing them. Soon he grabbed a few things tearing the alcohol wipe open with his teeth and the bandaid with his fingers.
Grabbing the boys left arm he carefully wiped the small area clean.
"Do I know you?" The boy he was helping asked.
"I guess you can say that but don't worry about it okay? Just sit tight." Atsumu sticks the bandaid on him. Sakusa stared at him work on his arm. Atsumu couldn't help but let out a slight chuckle seeing how disoriented he was. He was probably seeing the weirdest thing right now. "I'll be going now. Be careful from now on okay?" Atsumu says cleaning up the wrappers. When he finished he grabbed his phone from the floor and turned the flash off. He waved goodbye to Sakusa as he grabbed the door handle. As soon as he was about to open it he heard keys dangling. Atsumu breath hitched seeing a shadow approached the door. He stumbled back hoping they wernt coming in.
The door handle jingled as they tried to unlock it. Atsumu quickly threw himself under on of the beds. His back hitting the wall hard making his groan in pain. The door creaked opened as someone walked in. The door closing right behind him. "The door was unlocked huh? I must of forgotten to unlock it. Not like you care if someone found you like this right?" The person said. "If someone ever did find out I would beat the fuck out of you. You would be so dead. Luckily their is no need for that."
Atsumu couldn't figure out who the voice belonged to. It was deep yet sounded young. It also sounded very familiar but he couldn't put his finger on it. He squinted his eyes trying to see who it was but it was impossible. The computer light only lit up so much. But from what he could tell he was wearing a black hoodie. He watched as he grabbed Sakusas face with one hand. Squeezing his cheeks and he looked at him. "My Sakusa, my poor useless and worthless Sakusa. You have no shame looking like this right? So damn pathetic." He smacked the boy so hard that he fell to the side. "But you like it that way right? Being treated like shit."
Atsumu eyes widen in shock from what he witnessed. Something in him urged him to get out and stop the situation. But if he did the guy could lie and tell people that he drugged him. He would never hear the end of people talking bad about him. Atsumu just stayed still and didn't make a noise.
"Be a good boy and stay here okay? I just came to make sure I locked the door. I'll come for you later." He said as he stood up and left.
It took Atsumu a few minutes before he could quickly scrambled out of his hiding spot. "Are you okay man?" Atsumu whispered as he checked on Sakusa. The boy just groaned in response. Atsumu frowned and rubbed the place he got hit. "You can't stay here, you have to leave no-" but before he could finish his phone rang. Quickly fishing it out his pocket he saw it was Suna.
"Hello?" He answered still running the boys cheek.
"Oi where are you? We've been waiting for you for ever." Suna complains.
"Sorry it's just that I sa-" he stopped himself from speaking remembering what the person said about what would happened if someone found out. He didn't want to be the reason this guy got hurt.
"Hello? I think your cutting out." Suna says.
"I said sorry it's just that I saw someone I recognized and the conversation was so good I lost track of time." Atsumu said standing up walking to the door. He looked back to see the boy still drowsy. "I'm on my way." Atsumu said as he walked out.
As much as he hated the idea he had to leave him. It would be dangerous for both of them if they found out he was in their. Plus Sakusa won't even remember him. He had to earn that boys trust and get him out of their as soon as possible.
Walking down the hall Atsumu walked passed the football team. Anxiety filling his head. He was currently known as a molester and he was sure the football team was not going to treat him so kindly. Mostly because the issue revolves around him and Hinata.
Hinata being with Kageyama who knew Ushijima. Meaning the football team won't let him pass so easily.
Throwing his hood up he quickly walked passed them crossing his fingers that they would not notice him.
"Hey!" He heard one of them shout.
Atsumu heart sunk to his feet.
"Yes?" He said not turning around to look at them.
"The school is closed, where did you come from?" Kuroo asked raising his eyebrow.
"I was getting something I forgot in class. I'm on my way out don't worry." He mumbled gripping his phone.
"First of all I don't know who you are but it's disrespectful to not look at who your talking too. So how about you turn around no?" Kuroo smacks his teeth.
"Yea yer right my bad." Atsumu says slowly Turing around. Half way he booked it. Running down the hall.
"Hey what the hell? Grab him!" Kuroo yelled at his team. They all began running after him.
The last time Atsumu ran was freshman year for gym. Meaning he was having the worst time running. Slamming every door open he eventually made it out. He saw Suna and Akaashi already in the car. If he hops into the car they will know immediately who he is. He will also get his friends into this mess and that's something he didn't want to do. Running past his friends he made it to the woods.
"Was that stumu?" Akaashi asks not sure if his eyes deceived him.
"Pretty sure..." Suna reply's turning his car on.

While Akaashi a boy who cares so much about his image but has someone trying to dig up a dirty secret about him falls in love with a boy who seems so far of reach.
TW: drugs, underage drinking, needles, blood, fighting, language, violence, rape?, mentions of being molested, mentions of abuse, ect.
Atsumu could feel something cold touching him. It was a odd feeling that he wasn't familiar with. Mostly because it was on his chest. As much as he wanted to open his eyes he couldn't. They felt so heavy that he didn't want to put in the effort. Though he felt bothered with whatever was touching him. He could feel a stinging sensation on his face. The smell of alcohol flowing into his nostrils. Atsumu groaned in annoyance shifting his body away.
Atsumu fluttered his eyes open as he sat up. His eyes squinting from the bright light hitting his face. He felt as something cold fell next to him. Groaning from being awaken from the best sleep he just had. He looks turns to the person who woke him up.
"Akaashi im too tired right now to be awaken, I do want food though. So if you don't have any on you for me don't talk to me." Atsumu said still squinting his eyes as he looked at a guy.
"Miya are you awake? How about sitting up for me no?" The person said trying to sound professional.
Atsumu froze from the sudden strange voice. He opened his eyes immediately looking up to be met with a pair of dark eyes. He immediately sat up seeing he wasn't anywhere familiar.
"...where am I?" Atsumu asks trying to get up. The guy stopped him and sat him back down he probably didn't want him walking around yet.
"In the nurse office, Your friend brought you here so you could get some fresh bandages and sleep." The dark haired boy said as he walked to the fridge to take out a snack. It seemed to be a container full of fruits like apple, mangos, papaya, pineapple, watermelon ect.
Atsumu sat there quietly starving and then groaned loudly in frustration a few second later. He ran his hand through his hair grabbed fist fulls of it. What the hell happened to him that he ended up like this? He thought deeply until he remembered Suna giving him something in the bathroom. "I'm going to kill that jerk." He mumbled still tired from the pill.
"How long have I been asleep?" Atsumu ask a the boy who sat in his desk.
"For fifteen minutes, I see your still tired. Mind to tell me what happened? Looks like you got into a fight and lost terribly." He said looking at him up and down.
"Arnt you supposed to be a nurse? Doesn't that roll consist of being nice? Anyways It's non of yer business okay? I'm fine, i just fell down." Atsumu lies as he laid on his side adjusting himself to look at the nurse. The boy had eyebags equally as bad as Akaashi's. Sickly pale skin and curly hair. He looked very young to be working in a field like this. He then takes notice of his name tag. "Sakusa." He reads out loud. The nurse ignored him "You must of fell down a cliff then." He rolls his eyes as he takes a bite into his fruit.
"I know yer not talking, you look like a vampire! You even have the bite marks on your arm." Atsumu says pointing out on Sakusas inner arm. His pale skin had two red dot on it that seemed to be from a injury.
The pale boy quickly covered his arm turning back glaring. "What's wrong cat got yer tongue?" Atsumu snickers trying to get a reaction out of him.
Nothing came out of him instead he continued eating. He looked like a uptight person who didn't care about anyones opinions. At least he did in Atsumu's eyes. People like that were assholes that never experienced happiness in their life. Letting out a deep sigh he lays on his stomach to watch the other boy eat hoping to bother him more. He watched how the boys skinny shaky hand brought a piece of watermelon to his mouth.
"Ya want me to hand feed you? Yer hand shaking like crazy" Atsumu asks.
"Has anyone told you how annoying you are?"
Sakusa says turning around to look at him. "Iv been told how gorgeous I am" Atsumu winks at the nurse. Eventually he placed his fork down on a paper towel and stands up slipping gloves back on.
" i am going to finish checking you up so you can leave immediately." Sakusa walks towards Atsumu and grabbed his arm forcefully flipping him over onto his back.
"Hey! Who gave you permission to grab me like you please?!" Atsumu said agitated.
"I didn't get to finish putting new bandages on also you may need a ice pack to reduce the swelling." Sakusa said ripping a alcohol wipe open with his hand. Leaning over Atsumu he started rubbing it it on his temple.
"Gah!" Atsumu says feeling the alcohol deep into his wound. He quickly grabbed Sakusas arm squeezing it hoping it helped cope with the pain. It didn't last long though he quickly snatched his arm back giving him a serious look. "Don't touch me ever again." Sakusa said throwing the wipe away.
"Sensitive much no? It just stings like a bitch ya know? Had to hold onto something to keep still." Atsumu sulked.
"This wouldn't be happening if you didn't scratch your wounds Miya." He said grabbing a band-aid.
"I so do not do that! You're just making things up so you can bring me down." Atsumu said sitting up trying to get a good view of whoever this guy.
"You were literally doing it in your sleep not too long ago." He sighs deeply pinching the bridge of him nose. "So stop whining, act like the big boy you are and suck it up." Sakusa said pushing Atsumu back down by the shoulders. He quickly smacked the bandaid on and walked away.
"I can't wait to get out of here." Atsumu mumbles.
It was almost as if the people from above heard him. A sudden knock was then heard from the door. In came in Akaashi with a bag of fast food in his hand. "Suna brought you lunch, hope you slept well." The boy approached him with a soft smile in his face. Atsumu grabbed Akaashi from the colar bringing him closer
"Tell me exactly what happened," Atsumu said with a stern look.
Akaashi smiled nervously putting his hands up to his shoulders. "How about we talk about this later," he said looking at Atsumu then dragging if his eyes to Sakusa. As if he was trying to indicate that it wasn't a good place to speak.
Atsumu complies letting go and snatching the bag out of Akaashi's hand. "Hope he hasn't caused you any trouble Sakusa. He can be quite a handful."
Leaning against a table Sakusa looked at Atsumu before opening him mouth to speak. "What supplements did he take?" Sakusa said disregarding what Akaashi just said.
"Like I said he took too many melatonin gummy's." Akaashi said with a panicked tone.
"Akaashi if that were the case he would be dead. Overdosing leads to death." Sakusa looks at him with a pitiful look.
"I'm not sure why your assuming I would allow my friend to do drugs. I'm not familiar with those types of things. So please refrain from going in that direction again." Akaashi grabbed Atsumu by his arm. "Thank you for taking care of my friend. We'll be leaving now."
With a few second they where gone.
Akaashi storming down the hall with a clueless Atsumu behind him.
______________________
Walking out the double doors he sat Atsumu outside in the benches to eat. He lets out a deep breath seeing that he was almost caught. He couldn't afford having his name and drugs in the same sentence. That would definitely ruin his appearance. He was so close to being the top student in this school. The only person that was in his way was Ushijima. He was the captain of the football team, honor student, award winning spelling b, highest test grades in the school, fastest runner in track and is currently the one who holds a 4.13 gpa. He was the definition of a perfect student. Something that Akaashi needed to have.
"Can I eat your fries?" Atsumu says as he takes some from his friends box.
"Atsumu have you ever met a perfect person with no flaws?" Akaashi says looking at his food. He was definitely sure that no such thing existed. But why couldn't he find any in Ushijima?
"Of course not Kash not even you are perfect." Atsumu says laying his head down looking at his friends uneaten fries.
"Yer still with that perfect student thing? If your dying to be so perfect why do you hang out with Suna and me? Don't we bring Your image down?" Atsumu looks at Akaashi who looked a bit take aback.
"No matter how horrible or ticked up you guys are I will never leave your side. You are my friends and nothing will change that. Not even me wanting to be the best." Akaashi smiles at him.
"By the way You never told me what happened." Atsumu says sitting up. Placing his chin on his right hand.
One thing about Akaashi is that he's absolutely bad at lying. He either comes up with the worst lie or begins to panic. Luckily he never lied to his friends even if he wanted to.
"Suna gave you amphetamines because you wouldn't stop crying and he said it was supposed to calm you down but I didn't know it was that. I had to get to class but couldn't leave you alone. So I decided to take you to the nurses office and tell them you took too many melatonin gummies. So don't be mad at me." Akaashi said shamefully.
"So that's why I felt so good? Well thanks I guess. I kind of needed those few minutes of feeling nothing." He looks away from his friends gaze. "So what's the update with the rumors?" Atsumu asks.
"Spreading like wild fire, I think you should stay home till it dies down." Akaashi admits.
"Cant, failing horribly and I need to go to school from now on to graduate." Atsumu sighs stealing another fry.
The bell soon rings indicating lunch time was finally over. Akaashi looked at Atsumu with a small smile. "Going to join me for class?" He asks holding his hand out.
"Not like I have a choice Kash" he rolled his eyes playfully.

Chapter 5
"Pass me my bag," suna points at a black bag that was across the classroom. His long boney finger pointing at the direction for Atsumu to go. As his other hand dug in his pocket.
It was currently the next day and they where in a poorly lit classroom that had no one in it. They would come here often just to chill or when one of them needed to talk about something. Today Atsumu asked Suna to come here .
He walked towards the bag and picked it up feeling how light it was. He wasn't really surprised knowing his friend would never actually carry school supplies in there.
Atsumu threw the bag at the dark haired boy who caught it with one hand with a smirk on his face. He quickly unzipped it to pull out a tin of mints. It was red and had big letters in the front making it look like he actually cared about how his breath smelled. Soon Suna popped it open to reveal weed inside of it. The blonde was soon hit with the strong smell and made his way back to his friend sitting right next to him.
Atsumu chuckled seeing that his friend always had some type of drugs on him. From pills to crack to food. He watched as Suna rolled it up with a piece of brown paper he didn't know of. Though the grayish-yellow eyed boys hand where shaking. He didn't know weather that was how he was or the drugs he had been taking. Whatever it was Atsumu wasn't trying to be like him.
When he finished he brought the blunt up to his lips inhaled it throwing his head back as he held it in. He slowly turned around to look Atsumu in the eyes.
"Give up" he said breaking the silence as he blew a cloud of smoke into Atsumu's face. The blonde coughed fanning the smoke away from him.
"Yer kidding right? Do you know how long Iv been trying to get with him? It probably was a simple misunderstanding okay? It happens." Atsumu gives him an annoyed look wanting his friend to give him good advice rather than this. He didn't call him here just to get called out.
"Tsk, Miya are you fucking stupid? Do you know what shit he is spouting right now? Your rumored to be a molester. Stop playing dumb and accept the truth. You know Hinata only has his eyes for Tobio." Suna hisses tired of seeing his friend sulk over a guy who he had no chance to being with. Hinata played him like a fool and now he had to deal with the consequences of being stupid.
Atsumu balled his hands into fist holding the urge to punch his friend. He didn't want to accept it. It couldn't be possible. Why would Hinata do such a thing? If he didn't care about him why did he show interest? What did he sit with him?
"I'm leaving." Atsumu stands up as he grabbed his bag.
"Don't be like that. Sit your ass down and listen to what I gotta say to you. I don't care if you don't like it, the truth hurts." Suna says taking another hit from the blunt. The blonde boy didn't listen, he made his way to the door until he turned around and was slammed against it. His back aches in pain from last nights fight. "Open your fucking eyes Miya, he never loved you not even as a friend. He doesn’t care about anyone anymore so just forget about him," he whispered in a low voice before letting him go.
Atsumu rolled his eyes walking out tears in his eyes. He slammed the door closed behind him as he left. Why did he even bother talking to a druggie? He probably was saying random shit that didn't even matter. He was a utter fool to even think about talking to Suna about his problems.
He walked down the hall seeing people walking around. He could feel everyone's eyes on him. People whispering in the halls. How they avoided eye contact with him. Where he walked was cleared by people not wanting to be near him. His image was ruined.
He made his way down the halls feeling sick. What could it be? Was it because he was drinking all night? Or maybe it was the Hinata situation. Could it be that it had finally gotten to him? Being called a disgusting molester. Being seen as a monster even thought it was a misunderstanding. Hinata will tell them the truth right? Whatever it was he decided to brush it off and walk his way to the lockers. He spun the padlock to the exact numbers. Twisting it quickly due to muscle memory. While he did he could hear two very loud people talking.
"Kuroo did you hear about Hinata?" Bokuto yelled out loud trying to get his best friend attention. Then grabbed him by his shoulder. It almost made you think they had a thing for each other. Not that it would matter if they did.
"Don't tell me he literally did that..." Kuroo looked at Atumus direction locking eyes with him. Atsumu quickly turned back around minding his own business. His hands began to shake a bit scared of what was to come.
"Speak of the devil." Kuroo says as he looks at who just entered. In came Hinata Shoyo holding hands with Kageyama Tobio.
Atsumu could hear the hall go silent. Making him turn around to see what had people go speechless. He saw Hinata walking inside with Kageyama. He quickly slammed his locker closed and began walking towards him awkwardly. His hands inside his hoodies pocket. "Hey Shoyo... sorry about last night wasn't in the right state of mind." Atsumu said rubbing the back on his neck.
"If you don't back the fuck away I will drag you across the school floors and beat you u-" Hinata held his hand up stopping Kageyama from talking.
"I err been hearin these nasty rumors about me and was wondering if you could clear up the air no?" Atsumu laughed awkwardly.
"What are you talking about Atsumu? You molested me why would I lie to these people telling them you didn't?" Hinata raised his brow. The second he heard that he lurched forward as he felt his food go up. He covered his mouth quickly with his hand as he made his way to the restroom. Shoving people out the way and slamming a stall open. He then proceeded to throw up a whole days worth of food. He didn't know whether he was disgusted with himself or from what he witnessed. It didn't matter at the end of the day he hated himself.
He felt as the tears began to run down his face. Life really wasn't going his way right now. How did this happen to him out of all people? Would he have to move to a different city with a different identity? Suddenly he felt a light tap on his shoulder. He looked back to see it was Akaashi. He had a warm smile on his face.
"It's okay, let it all out Atsumu. I'm here for you." He said rubbing circles into his back. Atsumu began to sob as Akaashi dug in his bag and brought out a baby wipe. He then proceeded to wipe his face and then mouth clean.
Akaashi was truly one of the best people out here. He always had Atsumu's back when he had a break down.
"It's not fair, I never had the chance at all!" Atsumu sobbed harder.
"You'll find someone better tsumu." Akaashi whispered softly as he helped Atsumu up. Bringing him to the mirror.
"Let's get you looking better okay? Let's show him he lost someone really awesome." Akaashi said as he moved Atsumu's hair out of his face. He then brought out another baby wipe to clean any left over puke. The cold wipe touching Atsumu's skin gave him goosebumps.
People stared in shock until Suna came in. Everyone then scrammed out not wanting to get into trouble. A drug dealer is the type of man to have crazy connections. He threw his bag on the ground and dug into his pocket.
"What did I fucking tell you? Open your fucking mouth." Suna says approaching Astumu who was still a sobbing mess.
Akaashi sighed not knowing how to console the boy.
Suna grabbed Atsumu by his face forcing his mouth open and shoved a pill into his mouth.
"Swallow" he said as he watched the blonde struggle.
"Here drink some water," Akaashi brought out a bottle and helps Atsumu drink it.
"It going to make you feel better okay? It will help me not hear you cry for a while. So if you feel all woozy then just know it's kicking in. It's going to hit you pretty hard since you threw up your food and now have an empty stomach, have fun sunshine." Suna pats Atsumu in the back who already looked out of it.
"What did you just give him?" Akaashi asked with wide eyes seeing that his friend stopped crying.
"Don't worry about it. It's so he can stop sobbing. Shits annoying. Just know I gave him the strongest one I had so it hits real fast." Suna said walking out.
Akaashi quickly grabs Atsumu's face.
"If I knew it was drugs I wouldn't of let you take them" he groans not knowing what to do now.
Atsumu smiles softly feeling the euphoric effects. He no longer felt sad, he felt happy, no relaxed. As if he where floating in a lake of water.
Akaashi grabbed Atsumu and walked to the bathroom door. He peaked his head out to make sure nobody was around. When he made sure the coast was clear he dragged Atsumu out of the school to Sunas car. He figured his friend would be there because he never showed up for 1st period.
"Why did you bring him here? You should of left him knocked out in the restroom." Suna sighs as he helps get Atsumu in.
At the end they put him in the passengers seat where he was dozing off.
"How is this supposed to help him exactly?" Akaashi asks as he starts taking out a box of bandaids from his bag sadly he only had one. He grabbed Atsumu's still bruised up face and started removing the old bandaids from last night.
"It's amphetamine, just gonna let him chill out for a hour. He's been stressing too much recently from that boy and now from the rumors going on it's going to be worst. Let's just call them antidepressants. The rumors are pretty bad right now. It's better for him to not know anything about them until they die down." Suna says with a tired smile.
Akaashi sighs stressing about his idiotic friends. How could Suna do something like this? It didn't matter what happened happened. As he finished up his work he looked at his empty box. He just needed a ice bag and he would be set.
"You arnt going to leave him here right?" Suna asks a bit annoyed m.
"And why would I not? Where else can I take him? Also I'm not the one who gave him drugs." Akaashi raises his eyebrow.
"Ah I'm currently in some beef with my provider. He tried raising the prices and it was like a 20% price raise. Now they are threatening me because I cut off the deal." Suna says with a chuckle.
Akaashi looks at him with a exhausted look. He then grabs Atsumu and takes him back to the school taking him to the next safes places. The nurse office.
When he arrived he knocked at the tall big door. "It's open " a deep voice says. Akaashi pushed the door slowly to reveal a boy with curly black hair. He wore a mask and a navy blue nursing uniform. He also had two moles on his face that almost made him believe it was a piercing.
"Hey, where is the nurse? I need a few bandaids." Akaashi says as he pokes his head in. Inside was just the boy and a student that was sleeping in a bed.
"The nurse isn't here today so I'm taking care of students, I'm Sakusa by the way." Sakusa said as he opened the door wider for them to come in.
This was perfect for Akaashi. He didn't have to take care of his friend while he was in school. Nor did he need to explain to this guy about the situation. He grabbed Atsumu with a tight grip and walked him to another bed closing the curtain around them.
Akaashi felt how cold the room was with the smell of alcohol wipes filled the air. He laid his friend down bringing the blanket over him. "Atsumu I'll be going for now, Sakusa will take care of you. Don't do anything stupid!" He said the last part quietly so they wouldn't hear them.
The blonde moaned in response.
Akaashi stood up straight and walked towards Sakusa who was watching them in a distance.
"That's Miya Atsumu, he's my friend and I came to give him some new bandages and a ice bag. Also he took too many melatonin gummies so he's very sleepy." Akaashi lied with a small smile on his face.
Sakusa looks at him intensely not believing anything he just said. Thankfully he didn't care much and waved him off to go.
Akaashi walked out and closed the door quietly before dashing too class already being late.

Chapter 4
"Did I take long?" Bokuto says siting on the floor next to Akaashi. He laughs shaking his head. He didn't think his new friend was going to actually come back to check on him.
"Your having fun?" Bokuto asks handing Akaashi a beer.
The boy looking at it worryingly, he wasnt much of a drinker to begin with. Not wanting to reject the offer he grabbed it. Bokuto had brought a drink for him all the way over here. He might as well pretend to enjoy it. Bringing the bottle to his nose he took a good whiff of it. Taking the smell in. It had a rich sour smell too it. With a good amount of the carbon going into his nose.
Taking a sip he felt the fizz on his tongue making him scrunch his face from the sour flavor.
Bokuto laughed seeing his reaction. "You arnt a drinker huh?" Bokuto grabbed the drink from his hands and took it down in one go.
"Ah.. not really." Akaashi said shyly looking down at his legs. Suddenly feeling his phone vibrate. Talking his phone out he sees it's Suna asking about Atsumu.
A: Im not sure where he is, I'm kind of busy. Last time I saw him was at the couch with Hinata. Keep an eye on them.
S: ight
Putting his phone back in his pocket he felt as his house keys fell out. It being dark it was going to be hard finding them.
Bokuto saw where it fell and grabbed them handing them back. While in his hands he notices a key chain of a small puppy plush on it.
"Aww Akaashi you like dogs?" Bokuto says lifting the plush up.
Akaashi's cheeks reden.
"Ah well kinda, it was a gift from my dad." He says rubbing the back of his neck while looking away.
"I like dogs too" Bokuto says standing up. "Wanna go hang out in the house. Don't want ya getting sick seeing you are pretty fragile." He says looking back at Akaashi holding his hand out.
"Sure," Akaashi smilies grabbing his hand. As they walked in they could see more people inside. It being warm with the amount of people inside. Everyone's hot body's rubbing on each other. The alcohol not helping so much. Bokuto put his arm over Akaashi shoulders shielding him from people. Making it easier for them to get by.
Walking further in they ended up sitting next to a pool table in the garage. Bottles of alcohol being placed everywhere. While guys and girls made out in corners. Some even being fucked in plain sight.
Bokuto laughs nervously seeing this wasn't the best place to be at.
"Ah sorry this was the only less crowded place. Now I see why" Bokuto says embarrassed.
"It's fine, how about a drink?" Akaashi says grabbing a half empty bottle of liquor next to him.
"I thought you didn't drink." Bokuto lifts a brow. Confused on the sudden change in behavior.
"Wont it be boring if we do nothing?" Akaashi tilts his head looking at his tall friend.
Bokuto huffs conflicted on what to do. He didn't want to force him to drink but if he wants to theirs no stoping him.
Akaashi uncapped the bottle and waterfalls it enough for it to be considered a shot. As he swallowed it he could feel the harsh burn go down his throat. He coughed as his face scrunched up from how bitter and rough it was.
"Took it like a champ buddy, my turn" says Bokuto as he grabs the bottle and waterfalls it. Akaashi watched how he basically swallowed it as if it was water. He was surprised that the boy didn't have such a reaction unlike him.
"Now what were we talking about?" Bokuto says raising his brow.
____________
"Atsumu your so drunk, want some water?" Hinata asks grabbing the blondes hand. His small warm hands touched Atsumu's.
Atsumu leans onto Hinata inches away from his face "Water is for the weak." He says laughing as he backed away. Smacking the cup of water out of his face. He had a awe look at his face every time he looked at Hinata in the eyes. Something about him made him melt. He would do anything for the boy in front of him. He wanted to yell to the world how much he loved and wanted him.
He felt Hinatas hand go slowly up his high. Atsumu looked at him confused. His brows furrowed a bit not sure what was going on. "What's wrong? You don't like it?" Hinata says tilting his head. Was this boy doing moves on him? It didn't make sense to him, he tried thinking but at the same time he found it impossible to. If that's the game he wanted to play then he had no problem. He grabbed Hinata from the back of his head bringing him closer. He felt Hinata tense up from his sudden acton. Atsumu leans in trying to earn a kiss from him but the orange haired boy backs away with a smile. Playing hard to get in Atsumu's eyes. Edger to win this game the tall boy pushes the other one on the couch. He pined the boy by grabbing both of his hands and crossing them above the boys head. He looked over the boy watching how his face turned pink.
"I like the kind of sex where I scream for help and you don't care," Hinata gives him a sly smile. Knowing well this boy above him was too drunk and dumb to comprehend him.
Atsumu laughed not thinking much of it. Not like he could anyways.
All he could think about was that he was now alone with his crush. It all felt like a dream he's been waiting to happen. He never thought he would get to this point so fast.
"You look so pretty" Atsumu says slurring his words. Admiring the person under him.
He leaned in for another kiss but before he could touch his lips he felt a hard slap on his face. He got up fast, surprised from what just happened. Making him let go of the boy under him. Holding his cheek that stings from how hard the impact was. He looked up dizzily to see some guy with a furious look on his face. People started crowding around him in shock. Not being able to understand the situation Atsumu stands up slowly.
He saw people with their phones out recording with their flash on. People laughed and were yelling. Chanting who knows what.
"You fucking disgusting cunt," Kageyama said punching him in the face. Atsumu stumbled back hitting the wall. He groans still out of it from the alcohol. He couldn't do anything though. His visions was wonky and he couldn't walk straight. He didn't care though he swung carelessly hitting him back.
"Your going to die tonight." Kageyama grabbed the blonde from the colar. He started beating him hitting any spot he could. you could see how he lifted his fist far to get a hard punch. Atsumu fighting back equally as hard. Kageyama tackles him onto the ground.
"Eyo what the hell is going on man, let him go." Suna says pushing through the crowed seeing his friend all messed up. Atumus cheeks where bright red and had a nose bleed.
"Let him go? This dude was molesting my boyfriend," Kageyama said throwing Atsumu onto the ground.
"Na man can't you see he's out of it, I know he wouldn't pull that shit. Plus who the fuck knows that's your boyfriend? Arnt you new? Why do you think he knows or cares about that? You can ask any girl he's been with he doesn't have a history of that." Suna says grabbing Atumus throwing his arm around his shoulder.
"Do you want to fight? I'm not scared of fighting someone as weak looking like you." Kageyama snarled as he stepped closer to them.
"Maybe you should keep your boyfriend in check." Suna glares at him before leaving. He mumbles under his breath annoyed by having to take care of his friend once again. Causing a whole scene in front of a big group. He should learn how to handle himself at this point but sometimes theirs nothing to do but fight.
Looking for another exit other than the front door with the huge crowed he decides for take the empty room. Making a quick right he walks into the garage to see Akaashi struggling to stand straight and Bokuto trying to make him drink water.
Suna sighs heavily seeing another problem having to be dealt with.
"Hey big guy Im heading home and I need to take them both back. Mind taking Akaashi to the car for me?" Suna says trying to keep Atsumu awake by flicking his nose time by time. Atsumu would wince from the pain due to his nose being hit.
Bokuto nods as he puts Akaashi over his shoulder walking out. Soon they arrived at Sunas black Nissan GT-R.
"Woah I forgot why I'm here, I'm not gonna lie Im low key high." Suna says as Bokuto placed Akaashi in the back. Suna shoved Atsumu in the passenger seat and buckled him up.
"Sorry if he caused any trouble." Suna says looking at Akaashi who was nodding off at this point. "Also thanks for being his friend too... he doesn't have many to be honest. He likes to keep a very small circle." He said as he got into his car before he said anything else he might regret. He waved goodbye and left. Leaving Bokuto standing their alone.

Chapter 3
"Eyo, heard there is a party at Aran" a guy from the football team yells. That was todays gossip around the school. A party being held at one of the most loved players house. Apparently his parents had gone out for a business trip for the week meaning he had all the freedom a teen could ever want.
Atsumu leans back in his chair pleased from what he had just heard. Aran was a man who held the best parties in the school and he was definitely not going to miss out.
"Yer coming to the party?" Atsumu says turning his attention to Akaashi who was busy writing notes.
"Please Atsumu you know I can't do that when I'm trying to keep up with my work. Why don't you actually try doing your anatomy work instead of partying. " The boy said.
"Please I can't go alone!" The blond protest. Not like he was going to be alone entirely. Suna also went to the party's to do business or to pick up girls. But Atsumu needed someone he could rely on to look out for him. Last time Suna left him blacked out in a strangers bathtub. It was the awkwardest day of his life trying to get out of the house.
"What if I get hurt? In trouble? Or even worst molested." Atsumu pouts. Still his friend did not budge. He was dead set on not attending. Party's weren't Akaashi's thing. He didn't like the idea of sweaty drunk people around him.
"It will make you look great! A boy with the best grades and socializes with his fellow peers." Atsumu said knowing how to get him to come. "You'll be recognized greatly that you'll earn scholarships for being the best."
He watched his friend contemplate what he had just said. Akaashi did anything to look good. He had this weird thing where he lived to make his image look great. Maybe he was self conscious?
The boy fiddled with his fingers for a bit before exhaling heavily giving in.
"Fine, but you better not make me regret this."
_____________
"Atsumu did ya bring the alcohol?" Aran yells as the blond enters the house.
"Ya bet, I even brought Suna if you guys want to get really fucked up." Atsumu spreads his arms out greeting his friend.
Suna waved as he sat down with his black bag next to him. The party had already gotten started. It wasn't too crowded yet. People where already drinking and dancing. Chatting with old friends and starting beef. Loud music played in the background making people get hyped.
Akaashi sat next to Suna due to the fact that this was his first party. He didn't know how to act or look without being seen as a loser. He laid back for a bit watching Atsumu disappear in the crowed. He felt anxious being in such a place. The music played loudly and people where yelling. This was definitely not a place for him. He should of been home studying. Actually doing something productive. Not babysitting his friend who can't control their alcohol. It was too late now, he was already here he might as well make it worth coming.
Standing up he went to pour himself a drink in a red cup. He wasn't much of a drinker but he couldn't just sit down and be bored the whole time. It might help him loosen up a bit.
At least he hoped.
"Let's get this shit started!" Atsumu yelled as they poured juice, alcohol, candy and sugar in a barrel. Other members of the football team helped creat the drink. Was it really going to be a high school part without this drink?
As they finished Atsumu grabbed a cup and chugged it down feeling a sense of energy serge through him. He watched how girls began dancing around him. One brunette dancing on him. He grabbed onto her waist and started dancing with her as he drank. He felt as her ass pressed onto his groin. Moving to the beat of the music. She wore a short dress that would go up every time she moved her ass. At some point Atsumu could see her undergarments. Not like he cared though. He was kind enough to help keep it down time by time.
"I see you," suna said as he walked passed him with the same girl he had at his house last night. Atsumu gave him a wide smile and continued having fun.
Suddenly he felt another girl grab onto him. She reached for his face to give him a kiss. What he didn't know was that she had alcohol in her mouth. She passed it down to him as their lips connected catching the blonde off guard. He looked at her bewildered.
"Your a freaky one huh?" He said as he grabbed her. Leaving the other girl alone. He looked deep into her eyes seeing she was already drunk. Her blonde hair in a high ponytail. She wore a green tight dress and a sly smirk on her face making Atsumu want to act up. He grabbed her wrist putting her hand on his chest. While his other hand grabbed her by the waist. They danced to the song Dark Red by Steve Lacy. Getting more and more intoxicated by the minute. He caressed her cheek as he leans in for a kiss. A kiss that lasted a few second. Her lips where so soft. She smelled so sweet that Atsumu's kissed her neck to get a closer smell of whatever she was wearing.
"Arnt ya from the cheerleading squad?" Atsumu said trying to make conversation.
"Yea I am, what about it?" She giggled.
"Nun I just couldn't believe such a gorgeous girl is dancing with me." Atsumu kissed her again slowly.
"How about we go into one of those rooms?" She asks as she puts two fingers on Atsumu's chest. Slowly rubbing them up and down to his groin area.
Atsumu smiles as he grabbed a bottle of tequila and poured himself a shot. He proceeded to then take it down in one go.
"Take the lead," Atsumu said as she grabbed him.
But before he could make it out of the kitchen he felt someone tug on his sleeve. He turns around to see Hinata standing there. Quickly snatching his arm from the girl. He turned his full attention on Hinata.
"Hey Hinata I didn't know you where going to be here, what ya looking for?" Atsumu asks putting his arm on the table next to them.
"Ah I was wondering if you seen Kageyama, he said he was coming." Hinata said looking around.
Atsumu looked at him up and down wondering if this boy was playing games. He was sure that he made it clear that he had a crush on Hinata. Either he was playing hard to get or he was actually dense.
"I haven't but if ya like we can sit together so you won't be alone." Atsumu said acting as if he didn't care. Being honest he didn't know how this Kageyama guy looked like.
"Of course we can, let's sit at the couch. Are you drunk yet?" Hinata asks as he begins walking sliping through the crowed.
"I'm getting there but not quite yet," Atsumu says trying to keep up with the the smaller one. Eventually they made it to the sofa where Akaashi sat scrolling on his phone. The two friends made eye contact.
Akaashi with disbelief and disappointment in his face. While Atsumu winked at him.
"How have you been? Sorry we haven't spoken so much. Ever since we parted ways we stopped talking." Hinata says as he looks around for something.
Akaashi takes notice of the bizarre behavior. He debates if he should join in the conversation but he knows Atsumu will be mad later. Instead he gets up to look for a new location to rest.
Walking around for a bit he notices people watching him. Might be due to the fact that it was their first time seeing him at a party. Quickly he moves outside with a feeling of relief seeing empty chairs at a bon fire. The other people around it where high or passed out which was no problem at all.
Taking a seat he relaxed feeling the warmth hit him. Hearing the fire crackle softly. Hopefully nothing ruined this peace right now.
"Akaashi? I didn't think you would be here, how ya feeling?" Akaashi was startled by the sudden loud voice.
Behind him was Bokuto wearing his varsity jacket. He was shocked to see him here but he shouldn't be surprised at all. Why wouldn't he be at a party hosted by his fellow teammate.
"I came with a friend and I'm feeling a lot better, just a bit chilly so I sat here." Akaashi smiled at him nervously.
Bokuto chuckled removing his jacket and putting it over Akaashi. The small boys face flushed red. Luckily the night hid it pretty well.
"If you ever need anything come to me okay? I'll come back in a few to check on you." Bokuto says ruffling Akaashi's hair.
'Thank you' he mumbled. As he crossed his arm.
"I know you saw that Kate," a girl said as she crossed her arms. She had just witness Bokuto give out his Varsity jacket like that. How ridiculous was that? Who even is he? Are they just friends?
"Yea Sabrina. I'm guessing your not going to try to get Bokuto tonight huh?" Kate says looking at her friend who would not look away from the boy at the bon fire.
"He's known as one of the schools best honor students, he's a well behaved student in general. Already got accepted to a few colleges and from what I know he's pretty well off financially. His mother has a pretty big check from working as a nurse. I see why Bokuto would have his eyes on him." Kate continues.
"So he’s basically the perfect child no? We will see about that. Everyone has a deep secret no? I'll make sure to find his. I’m going to ruin his reputation." Sabrina took a sip from her drink as she walked away laughing.
Sabrina was a troubled child. Very spoiled since she was born and was the one who started all the rumors at the school. She had dirt on everyone using it to her advantage. And this was not going to be an exception. She was known to bring anyone Bokuto talked to down. To make him rethink about who he really was talking to.

Chapter 2
*gasps*
Atsumu sat up awaking from his sleep. He scanned the area to see that where he was seemed familiar.
He was in Sunas room. Plain white walls, blacked out curtains, a safe in a corner and drugs scattered everywhere.
He rubbed his face feeling his pounding headache over take him. He loved drinking but wasnt sure if the hangovers where worth it sometimes.
Getting up he walked to the restroom grabbing his toothbrush.
Atsumu's would stay over most of the time due to Suna not having any family. It gave the boy company and supervision in case he overdose. His parents had passed from a accident and his other family didn't acknowledge him. Giving him nobody to ask for help. That's why Atsumu would come at least 3 times a week. Eventually Suna had gotten him a toothbrush and his own clothes. Since he stayed over so much.
Now that he thought about it he slept in Sunas room meaning his friend had slept on the couch. The least he could do was make breakfast.
"What you cooking?" Suna asks his friend.
" Mornin, Just some eggs and bacon with toast in the side. Sit down I'm about to serve." Atsumu tilts his head indicating for him to take a seat.
Suna watched as Atsumu served him his breakfast with a cup of juice. He couldn't lie he found his friend annoying at times but if he was served like this he didn't think it was that bad.
"I see you haven't overdosed yet." Atsumu says taking a seat with his plate.
"Just because I'm a drug dealer doesn't mean I'm stupid." Suna takes a bite from his bacon.
Atsumu chuckles as he continued to eat.
Suna then got up and walked to the counter to grab a pill bottle. Walking back he placed it In front of Atsumu.
Advil the blonde reads.
Atsumu looks up at him and gave him a small nod as a thank you. They would sometimes hang out and not make a sound. It wasn't awkward more like peaceful.
"Yo, where's Akaashi?" Suna said. Thinking about it he was supposedly on his way last night. He never ended up showing up. You would think his friends would be concerned but instead they looked at each other.
"Passed out" they said in union.
________
Akaashi opened his eyes as the sun rays hit his face. He slowly brought his hands to face in disappointment. He has fainted yet again when he promised he was going to go to Sunas. It was alright though since everyone knew his situation. Akaashi had insomnia from stressing about everything. Trying to keep his perfect son image up, his perfect grades, and not wanting to disappoint his mother. Not wanting to associate himself with his father... trying to cover up everything about him actually.
"I guess it's time I get up." Akaashi said sitting up to be met with two boys staring at him. His eyes widen recognizing them. It was Kuroo and Bokuto.
"I'm sorry how did I get here?" He asks looking at both of them panicked.
"Ah I'll answer! After talking, you began walking away and a few second later we saw you struggling. You ended up passing out and well we just took you so nothing bad would happen." Bokuto said handing the green eyed boy a water bottle.
Why did they not take him to the hospital instead? Like any other person would. Then again they lived in Ellenor. A very poor area where someone would most likely not be able to afford a hospital bill.
Akaashi opens his bottle and takes a sip. Not knowing what to say next without making things uncomfortable. Hes never really been in a situation like this. He would mostly pass out in his house or around his friends. Which was a safe spot for him. He didn't have to worry about being kidnapped. Now that he thought about it was this considered kidnapping?
Akaashi began squeezing the bottle anxiously.
Bokuto taking a notice of it.
"Hmm if you don't feel well you can stay in my bed, or we can take you home." He said with a warm smile.
Did he just say his bed? As in the bed Bokuto slept in? Akaashi felt his cheeks warm up. He couldn't lie he has had a crush on this man since freshman year. He was so built, handsome, and kind. He was also one of the best players in the football team in their school.
Then there was his best friend Kuroo being the vice captain on the team. He was known to be the biggest flirt and secretly a nerd. Supposedly he had gotten a girl pregnant in middle school. At least that's what the rumors say.
"Uhh I think I'm going to stay for a bit more, my head hurts." Akaashi said holding the blanket tightly.
Why did he just say that? He was perfectly fine. He thought to himself but couldn't help lying to stay a bit more.
"Ah okay buddy do you need anything? We are kind of late for school right now. We didn't want to wake you up." Kuroo chimes in grabbing his bag.
SCHOOL?
Akaashi jumped out of bed and began putting his shoes on. He has never missed a day of school nor has ever been late in his life. This was going to ruin his reputation. He's going to be seen as a slacker or maybe something worst.
"Woah there are you okay?" Bokuto says worried watching Akaashi scram around looking for his phone. He shook his head and started throwing pillows around.
Bokuto walked to his night stand and unplugged the phone. "Right here," he says making Akaashi's head snap too look at him.
He quickly snatched it and began running out yelling "thank you so much! I'll repay you someday!" And with that the two boys where left stunned.

"Tell me why that bitch really tried to grab my dick when I was walking to 1st period. She also had them nail like claws. Felt like she was gonna rip it off." Atsumu's tells Suna as they chatted next to his locker.
Suna laughs knowing it happened often to Atsumu. Both of them being chick magnets in the school. But if you really wanted to see a man that had hella girl. Ushijima was your man. Captain of the football team, honor student, and a man who got everything he wanted. The bad boy a girl or man would wet themselves over. The dream boy every one died for.
Slam
The school door was opened by Akaashi who was panting. Holding nothing but his phone and a water bottle.
"Jeez what happened to you?" Atsumu asks walking towards him putting his arm over his friend.
"I'm late..." Akaashi said looking distressed. He held his chest catching his breath.
Atsumu rolled his eyes knowing he had 20 tardy's and 39 absences in a span of 3 months. Knowing his friend he was going to beat himself up over the stupidest thing.
"You need to relax Akaashi, I can hook you up with so-"
"No" Akaashi stops him as he grabbed Atsumu's notebook from the locker.
"I'll be borrowing this since you never use it , see you guys later." The gray-blue eyed boy walked to class as the bell rang.
"I was just offering him some drugs" Suna yawns.
Atsumu sighs as he closes his locker to walk down the hall with Suna. He saw how people looked at them up and down. Judging them with their cold eyes. It was always like this though. Not like he cared he felt almost superior to them just because he wasn't in some stupid drama. Mostly everyone had something going on. It being breakups, fights, drugs, or being back stabbed. Not him though, he just vibes with the night. Drinking and going to party's until he blacked out. There was no way he was going to get into some dumb shit. At least that's what he thought.
As Atsumu walked while chatting with his friend he felt a harsh push on his shoulder. He turned around to realize some dude had bumped into him. The boy had pale skin, black hair and blue eyes. He wore a tan sweater with the school name on it.
"Watch where yet going pal," Atsumu said grabbing the guy.
He didn't turn around though causing Atsumu to feel disrespected. He didn't know who this guy was nor did he care. Dude didn't even have the guts to look at him in the face.
Suna also approached the guy backing his friend up. People started taking their phones out knowing shit was about to go down. Until someone showed up.
"Atsumu leave the kid be, he's with me. You already know if you mess with mine I'll make you walk in crutches." Usijima said appearing from the crowed.
Atsumu let's put a heavy sigh as he looked at the tall guy.
He let's go of the boy and pushed him towards Ushijima. Him fighting a random guy was one thing. Him fighting with what was Ushijima's was another.
Without saying anything they parted. There was no need to start something big. But even after walking away Atsumu could feel the dudes glare in the back of his head. Almost as if he wanted to kill him.
It didn't matter though it wasn't the first time he had gotten looks like those. But who the hell was that guy? And why did he have an issue with him?
"Suna I have a bad feeling about that guy." Atsumu mumbles as they walked away. Suna shoved his hands in his pockets as they walked to class.
"For some reason I feel the same way. Why is he even hating on you without knowing you?" Suna looks back making sure he wasn't coming back. Atsumu doesn't respond instead he looks down at his feet.
"Whatever it is I don't think it should matter. We may not be as frightening as Unshijima but we still have connections he doesn't. If something happens we call them up." Suna smiles trying to comfort his friend who felt uneasy.
"What could go wrong?" Suna said as he threw his arm over Atsumu's.
